Todd Cieplinski: My son just came of age and very interested in comics with in the past 6 months. We live in Westfield and there isn’t a Comic book store in our community, so we have sampled many in the surrounding area. (30 min drive radius) Overall Bob’s is our favorite. Carl the owner is always very patient, professional, friendly and helpful. He doesn’t just talk to me, as he knows I’m the one holding the purse strings. He engages in conversation with my 8 year old son, shares insights and perspective but within boundaries, whereby my son is neither influenced positively nor negatively in his judgement and exploration of comic brands, writers, artist or characters. Selfishly, I’d like to keep this place a secret, my own private hidden gem. Respecting the community and this solid business owner, I highly recommend this business for any newbie, amateur, intermediate or avid comic enthusiast/collector. Bonus- I love the old school comic shop look and feel, very nostalgic.

Oshawasabi Jr.: Very average. Nothing really wrong with it, but probably won't go back. Pretty decent selection, but Enfield has 2 places that are noticeably and significantly better in all regards. Most Excellent and Matt's.

Tim McMahon: Back in the 90s when I was collecting comics there were several choices in the area: Altered Earth (being my favorite), Dragons Lair, Same Bat Channel, and Bobs Hobbies. It’s great that Bob’s is still around and I stopped in for the first time in 30 years recently. Had a great chat with the new owner Carl. I moved to CT so other stores are closer and easier to get to, but Bobs will definitely be on my list of stores to get to once in a while.

Michael Philbrick: Love this shop. I don't get to stop in as often as I'd like but when I do the owner is always nice to talk to and helps me find any book I'm looking for. No hype pricing, everything is reasonable. If you're a true collector/reader I'd urge you to stop by. Speculators are better off going somewhere else. Looking forward to my next adventure here.

Jedi Bock: This store has all your nerdy toys and then some! I give it a 3 star rating due to the fact they didn't have what I was looking for in their MTG section and lack of sales associates. Saturday is one of their busiest with regular customers looking for help and nerds playing their games at the tables.

Jacob MacWilliam: Sad to leave a low post as I've purchased single Magic cards and toys here for years. I tried to sell some cards, submitted a buylist and it was approved by the purchaser. I called the store after receiving the email and they double checked with their superior that they were in fact good to go, they said they were.I drove, for the second time, to the store in two days. (Wasted gas money+ time) The employee looked through the cards, and only would take 4 of the entire lot. Some of the cards were not NM, which is fine to reject. My issue stems from the fact that the buylist allows for you to list cards as moderately/light played. I did, and they accepted it but would not purchase them.Fair warning, if you value your time and gas money, maybe look elsewhere.

Paul DeVito III: This was the type of comic collectible shop i always hoped to find myself at, in the small time i had (was visiting a friend and we went in the last 20 mins of the day) i got a bunch of goodies without really looking, I couldve stayed there all day and not made it through everything. It was awesome.

Luis Barroso: Beware of placing any pre-order through them. I had a 2 commander precons that were pre-order and messaged the shop on release date to make sure they would ship. I was told that they would ship later that day and I will receive my tracking number shortly. A week later and still no tracking number.When I messaged the shop again for tracking, I received no response. What I did get was a email canceling my order. When I asked why it was canceled I was told they were sold out. I sent a screen shot of my email from release date showing that they confirmed it was going to ship. All the said in the email was "sorry".I called the store the next morning and asked if they had the decks in stock. They did confirm they has all in stock and when I asked for the price turns out they increased the price by 20 a piece. I asked to speak to a manager and was transferred to Nathan. I informed Nathan about the emails I had from the night before a saying that they were sold out and how the other employee just confirmed they were indeed in-stock, just not at the price I pre-ordered at. He asked specifically for my first name only and said he would call back in 10 minutes. When I asked if he wanted my phone number to get back to me or my email and order number, he just hung up.Shop somewhere else. You will be price gouged here and treated poorly. Still haven't even received my refund.
