Jing Z: PAHMUSA is closed until further notice. In addition, Google My Business doesn't list PAHMUSA's hours correctly. Also, a sign on one of the museum windows stated it's scheduled reopen was 12/14. Sadly, upon arrival at the museum on 12/18, we discovered it was still closed.Reports from building employees are that the owner had to relocate and downsize all museum displays into a much smaller place. We need more spaces like this, especially in the state/region. I hope the owner(s) get the support they need to reopen. I did manage to take a few photos of the exhibits that were visible from outside the various museum spaces.LOCATION: It's not visible from outside and given they've relocated, I hope better signage, inside and out, improves so we all find it.Parking is metered.Stay tuned for an update, post re-opening visit.
Joanne Morah: So informative holds children interest worth the time aNd money

Mase Mase: This is an amazing free museum open to the public in amherst which houses dinosaur bones, mammoth bones and a sabertooth tiger bones. Also it provides an interesting natural history of the amherst area, amherst college millions of years ago was actually an island.
Anne Kearsley: A gem of a museum. Forgive the pun as the fossils, tracks, rocks and minerals are well kept and presented. The displays and the staff equally very informative.
Kay Lyons: Except for difficulty finding the museum we had an ideal experience. The student docent was polite and helpful and the exhibits were beautifully laid out and labeled. Excellent in every way.
Alla Maltsev: Little hidden gem. Went with family. The kiddos loved the dinosaur bones. Fun for both kids and adults. The gemstone collection was fascinating.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More

Akul S: One of the largest collections of dinosaur fossils. Great collection of minerals and stones as well.
Casey Shepard: We deeply enjoyed this museum! The specimen drawers were a special and intimate experience that made me feel like I was in the museum archives. The care and thoughtfulness in the displays and the science education aspect were superb. The dinosaur footprints were also fascinating and the QR code videos were an awesome addition! I also really enjoy the fact that so many of the specimens were collected by the college. Despite being a "small" museum, we looked at/read everything and spent four hours here and I would definitely go back and I cannot recommend this museum enough! And the mineral collection! So incredibly good.
Jessica P: It's a great free museum with amazing fossils that both my children love.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
Margaret Honan: Our 1st time here and we absolutely loved it. Parking was a little confusing but a nice man told us to park across the street, a short walk over. Museum is free, modern, superbly organized and cataloged and wonderful to learn and explore. Yasmin, greeted us, helped us get acquainted with everything, and she was kind enough to give us many dining options in the area. We'll definitely be back to visit this museum again.
M M: Wonderful collection and well kept. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this place is open into the night, providing the opportunity for more people to enjoy, respect and reflect upon the history of our world.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
maria jose velasco adalid: Una grata sorpresa. Empiezas con una pequeña muestra de piedras, para pasar a una sala con grandes dinosaurios y otros animales
Courtney Jane Brown: Small but wonderful!!! Took my 6 yr old here who is obsessed with dinos. Really impressive Dunkleosteus skull. It's free to visit there and I'd say it took my 6 yr old and I about 40 minutes to enjoy it all and look inside all the drawers.
