S A: I will say it is only my first visit to this office but I have specialists in other fields and between them, my daughters drs and husband's drs offices this is by far the best I've been in a LONG time. Quick. Friendly. Clean! KELLY TULL was extremely patient and actually listened. I am leaving feeling very confident in my care here. Absolutely recommend you trying this office.

Ivy G: Pregnancy before this one; I was told at age 44 (high risk pregnancy) that my bleeding and cramping was normal. No blood work nor an ultrasound was ever ordered. A month later, I miscarry. I'm pregnant again and now I'm being treated how I should have been treated months ago as far as testing and evaluation. (Till 3 days ago after I almost fainted and threw up & explained that something is different and some things not right) I feel that bcz of my age, they don't want me to have a baby bcz of the way they kept pushing birth controls that will affect my hormones greatly and overall health. Before i got pregnant the first time, they gave me a an uncomfortable look when I asked questions about possibly getting pregnant again. They asked "why would you want to get pregnant again?". Instead of just explaining the ups and downs. This time, my own regular doc wondered why they told me to call him to change my medication. Also, the nurse didn't even pay attention this time when I said, something is different and doesn't feel right about my tummy. She just said that if there's no bleeding or cramping that's fine. This was 3 days ago. Today, I'm calling again. I'm gonna push to have another ultrasound done. Let's see if I get the run around again. And idc who in that office reads this bcz today I will express my inner most feelings and thoughts. I'm switching clinics asap. Had I known they weren't a part of Baystate, I’d NEVER would've gone there. I trusted Baystate with all 3 previous pregnancies. Hopefully the way they practice hasn't changed for the worse since 1998. Wish me luck or say a prayer, thanks anyways.

Melanie Keane: The staff is extremely rude on the phone and in person. It is very difficult to schedule appointments. I called about some thing extremely important three days ago and have not received a call back. Not just about scheduling either. This is on the verge of being a medical emergency I know that you’re supposed to call 911 if it’s an actual emergency which it is not however I explain to them in my message what the concerns are and have not received any care or concern back. The lack of care is ridiculous to me. I have never seen so much unprofessionalism in a healthcare facility as I have at Baystate ob/gyn. I really need to take my Depo shot to prevent pregnancy and I’m honestly considering just giving myself the shot at this point because they can’t even take the time to schedule me. If you have a choice go somewhere else!

Mia Newton: Dr Case is great. Very thorough and thoughtful. I just learned she is moving and I'm heartbroken. She talks about your overall health at the right level and provides great input. Best of luck Dr Case, you will be missed.

Caylie Czochara: I loved Anne Marie Gorham (sorry if it’s spelt incorrectly) she was the best Gyno ever. I had her from ages 16-23. When she left I cried. She was so thorough, thoughtful, concerned, and highly educated. She made me feel so incredibly comfortable. I see someone else now. I’ve only see this Dr. once and they wanted to reschedule my appointment since I changed the reason for my visit. I felt so uncomfortable, and unwanted. I haven’t been there in a while but I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment for the past week and never received a call back from one of the nurses, or I’m sent to a different answering system that doesn’t get back to me either. I had a procedure done and I feel as if that’s the reason they don’t want to see me as a patient. This is the worst I’ve felt at a place that’s supposed to have such high professionalism.

Jenn Canepari: I had a great experience with Dr. Thompson and the sonographer, Mary. I told Dr. Thompson what was required of my procedure because of past experience and she heard my request. Mary was exceptional at explaining what was going on and what made my situation unique. I felt safe and in capable hands. I would send any of my friends and their mothers to these ladies!

Jennifer Begin: Please do not seek help from this organization if you are dealing with abnormal obgyn pain or symptoms as they will not be addressed appropriately. I write this especially in regards to endometrial or complex cyst issues. They will not take you seriously. Seek care elsewhere.

Flix: I've been going here for about 15 years and they used to be better but now they don't take the time to actually find out what's wrong with you. They give you birth control as the solution the everything. Even when you insist you don't want it. You could receive better care elsewhere

Railyn Lopez: Had a great experience as a first time patient today after a really bad experience due to a painful pelvic exam at a different practice. I was very nervous. Dr. Fitzgerald and his medical assistant Crystal were very understanding, supportive and professional throughout the process and I had a wonderful and comfortable experience. I didn’t feel rushed and all my questions were answered. I would definitely recommend.

If you have an emergency have fun in the violent cycle of calling the ob and have them send you to Wesson and then have them tell you to call your ob who tells you to go to Wesson and on and on........ I have more confidence in my refrigerator delivering my baby rather than these clowns.

rebecca jones: If you don't mind being treated as a number, this is the practice for you. Also, be aware they require you keep a credit or debit card on file in order to be a patient of their practice and will bill you with only 24 hours notice.

Ashley Kazakos: Friendly staff and my doctor is amazing. Takes her time and listens and answers any questions or concerns I have.

Sofiya Loseva: Honestly just find another gynecologist. Dr. Haag Rickert, I don’t even want to address her as a doctor because every single appointment I’ve had with her was a terrible experience. I got diagnosed with a condition in the beginning of me seeing her, and I was trying to get an understanding of it and she was so annoyed and basically disregarded every question I had. I understood she is a medical professional and was in a hurry so I shrug it off but her behavior was honestly unacceptable. My mother started seeing her for regular check ups and health issues and she needed a procedure done which I was there for. She didn’t even let the numbing injection kick in, my mom felt every cut and every suture. I felt soooo horrible and my mom only said the numbing injection kicked in after, when the procedure was already done. After the procedure, my mom asked her a couple questions regarding certain lab work which we were there to follow up with, which she responded with “they are not in my head, I can’t just tell you”. I was beyond angry at that response. We just wanted to know because she was supposed to get back to us regarding her lab work and to see if she needs any changes in her medication dose, and never got back to us for months after we did required lab work. We had to reach out again and re do the lab work all over again. Then she never sent out a prescription for a certain medication my mom needs which she said she will but once again did not. Just everything about this doctor made me upset and so angry. I disregarded and shrug off many of my interactions with her but honestly, just get a different gynecologist.

Penelope Valentine: If you are a young mom ask for Dr. Moran and someone else if there’s another OB. If you’re a new patient and young mom - forget it. Find a new practice to go to. She doesn’t listen to you, she cuts you off when you’re speaking, and will talk down to you as well as get disrespectful to you when you’ve given no reason for the disrespect.Two if my oldest sisters had her and she got disrespectful towards one.The other sister Dr. Haag told her that first time mothers can’t be two weeks early into labor. When she Checked my sister WAS two weeks early and needed to be brought into the delivery room.I gave her the benefit of the doubt until I had scheduled an appointment w/ her on 02/08/2022. I walked into the office for a note to restrict me from doing certain tasks from work because of my growing belly and the pain I’ve acquired throughout my pregnancy. There’s tasks I absolutely can not do because of pressure being put against my stomach and shock pains in my lower back. When she walked in she took out her pen and note pad and asked me to explain my job description. She laughed at me when explaining and told me it’s a typical excuse. Before I could continue on with other concerns she cut me off mid conversation, as she walks out the door she said she couldn’t pull notes out of her a** and that I needed to bring in a written job description.Dr. Haag-Rickert does not listen to you, she is arrogant, and dismissive.

Taylor Villeneuve: After many years of being a patient with BOGG, and 3 pregnancies in the last 3 years, I think it’s time to move on. I’ve always seen the midwives, but it seems like they have very few left and it’s next to impossible to get an appointment with them in Longmeadow. Customer service in the Longmeadow office has gone so far down hill. When I ask about midwife availability they office staff immediately gets frustrated with me. I’m 32 weeks pregnant, and have had doctors for my last few visits because midwives were not available. When booking my next appointment I was told that because I’ve seen the doctors recently, that’s who would be delivering my baby. I’ve never wanted to see the doctors, but that’s the only option that’s been presented to me. The receptionist was so rude and frustrating. I did not experience this at all with my last 2 pregnancies, and up until this one I’ve had good experiences here, but the office seems so different than it used to be.

Kathleen Archer: I use Dr.Jennifer hallowell. She is so kind Great sense of humor awesome bedside manner and I would recommend her to anybody! Oh and she's extremely intelligent!

Jill Carneglia: I have had the best experience being a patient at Baystate OB/GYN Longmeadow. The office is new, clean and easy to get to, the front office staff is helpful and kind, and the doctors and midwives are incredible. I’m 29 and only go for routine annual checkups, but every time I’ve gone, the doctors have made me feel as though we’re old friends who can talk about anything. Highly recommend Dr. Otmaskin and Kelly Ostrowski!
