BIll Bennett: Terrible company! Canceled my account and still being billed. Cost for gas is extortionary in that the actual gas cost is minimal. The rest of the charges are enormous. Universally hated in my area.
Mehammed Mack: I was approved to have my crawl space insulated using the Mass Save program. I even paid $150 (my portion) to have this work done. Then I find out, after moving ALL my things out of the basement to make the crawl space accessible, that Columbia Gas did not give approval for that work to be done, and that they gave notice of the cancellation on THE MORNING the work was to be done. This was 1.5 days I took off work to prepare, for absolutely nothing. I feel like Columbia Gas was callous in its disregard for customers' time. My crawl space is where all my heat gets lost, I don't know why they didn't approve it. My pipes have frozen because of this.
Osamagbe Iyare: A cluster waste of time. Worst company to ever exist. If you're trying to book an appointment just ask to speak directly with a manager because 1. It will take three days for them to show up just for them to take about nine years and lie to you over and over about being on the way "route" which will result in you losing your job because they will never show up until 8 to 16hours later. 2. There will always be an "emergency" before you. 3. You will never be given a specific time.
emma Feliciano: The first month i paid $108, the following $234 then $328. i have made a point to keep the heat at no higher than 75 degrees. the tips they give you? “every degree higher than 68 will result in a 5% increase in your bill. who the HELL keeps their house at 68 or lower in 14 DEGREE WEATHER!? now they want me to pay $560. FOR WHAT. i will have to cancel asap.

Melyblaze Gardens: Is it common for you to ignore gas leaks for more than 15 months? My mom bought her home over two years ago you were called because a gas leak and your company stated she was fine until they fixed it. That was over 18 month ago. I have been visiting my mom and can feel shortness of breath and nausea. I smell the gas constantly yet you feel it’s not a threat to our health. Breathing gas for a year is a threat to our health. I’m reporting this to Consumer Affairs and BBB
tammy collette: Anytime there is street work to be done on my street, your columbia gas trucks are constantly blocking my drive way. This is the fourth time and with out notice.. There is a no blocking driveway sign and we have specificly spoke to them before. This is ridiculous and un professional!! I'm very upset and next time I will just call the tow truck I'm done.
Toda Smith: I am so fed up with this company. Any good reason why you blocked my driveway (for the 3rd times since I moved here) WITHOUT letting me know before hand AND blocked a fire hydrant??? When they are working on my NEIGHBOR'S house??? PLEASE teach your people the parking laws of Massachusetts. I'll be calling the police next time. This is ridiculous.
B Smith: Customers calling to get some information regarding the new transition.The manager Sherri leasterman was extremely rude refused to help with general questions. They never did provide great customer service.
Simon Ts: Bill and Rick have helped me resolved an issue I had at my house. Bill took care of the issue and was very helpful. I was able to get gas back within days. Customer service support 10/10.
Decensored Games: Great Company! The people I have spoken with have been consistently sweet.
Jason Barroso: I may have to convert my rentals over to propane. They come and fix a leaking regulator outside. Shut the gas off to do so and then cant turn the gas back on for over a week and a half. Unreal
Osba Quinton: My gas has been cut off due to the tech turning off the wrong person's gas which was mine..It was suppose to be my neighbors getting shut off. So they call me at 3PM telling me it was cut off by mistake and they will send someone out the same day to turn it back on. Nobody ever showed up on top of that it is the weekend so I will have no gas/hot water for a couple days due to your company's mistake which is unacceptable. I have the 3 month old child and a 1 year old who shouldn't be having to deal with this b.s I cant believe this nonsense.

Austin Taylor: Shadiest company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. For a utility company, that is an incredible achievement.
Jake Stocker: This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced (and I’ve worked with Comcast!). Getting service turned on is harder than landing a man on the moon. So many forms of ID required, different requirements and conflicting opinions EVERY time we call. It’s taken us a week to even schedule a turn on and now they are booking 5 days out! No wonder they blew up an entire town. Everybody posting bad experiences should file a complaint with the Mass Department of Public Utilities.
Sarah Mizula: Recently moved and both my boyfriend and I work full-time but now one of us has to take a whole day off to get our gas turned on in 3 days. They said they can come between 8am-12am we can’t set a time or even a 2-4hr window. So this mean not only that we need to take a day off but we are also not able to cook or shower for 3 days. I honestly can’t believe how awful you treat your customers.
Muirgen Neal (Neuroticcuriosity): Constantly shady. More trouble to pay a bill then it's worth. Then send shut off notices over a weekend so you can't call to pay them. Payments go missing since they're over the phone and they don't tell you until the shut off. Just overall the worst utilities company I have ever interacted with.
