Alla Maltsev: An amazing group of people, pastors, and ministers. People are very passionate and encouraging. It can be a little difficult to invite newcomers. Everyone worships in their own way, which I love. However, the screaming can scare off and intimidate people who don't fully understand and are visiting. The flags and dance team add a graceful beauty to the worship. The worship team is extremely talented and on fire for God! We love their songs, instruments, and singers. Such remarkable talent. The culture is very friendly and open, with greeters and ushers making sure you always have a seat available. This place makes you feel like family. Love it!!!

I felt at home immediately and continue to feel that way, year in and year out. The services are thought provoking and spiritually moving, and there is programming of different kinds throughout the week.My children have grown up here and feel that their friends and experiences here are high points in their lives. I wandered into UU Springfield one Sunday morning, and was captivated by the warm inclusiveness of the congregation and the acceptance of whatever beliefs I brought with me. I have been there ever since. It's like a second home to me.

Dana Pedersen: Haven't been to church in a very long time. Decided to check out this place. Overall, a decent experience as a first-time visitor.Things I enjoyed:- people are friendly- music was good- pastor is passionate and good preacher (and can sing!)- racially diverse- casual atmosphere- high energy but short serviceThings I did not enjoy: Mainly accessibility issues such as...- If you're coming from the west on Plumtree Rd, the first parking lot you see isn't actually that close to the church entrance, but there's no way to know that, so I ended up having a long walk, which affects my health issues.- It was pitch black when I entered the auditorium and the little cell phone lights people were holding were not enough to help me navigate, especially as someone who has never been in that space before.- the helpers led me to a seat. I didn't get to pick my own seat. This was a problem for 2 reasons: 1) as a first-time visitor, I didn't want to be in the 2nd row. and 2) I was right next to the speakers which are SUPER loud. I would have never chosen that seat and it hurt my ears. (I noticed on my way out, that there was a table with earplugs available. But I couldn't see that in the pitch black when I came in, and no one told me.)-- there were about 5 photographers and they were distractingAs for the service itself, the sermon touched my heart and I enjoyed the vibe of the church.

Susan Jones: I went to church in the acres and it is a beautiful church on the inside and I met the people and they accepted me as part of their church family and the church staff keep the place clean and very neat and I would go their again and I would recommend church in the acres to go to.

Today, we strive to accept all who come as they are in that same tradition.We have both traditional and contemporary worship service (9:30 and 11:30 respectively with church school in between).
