Melissa Discher: Apparently according to Taylor (PA-C) my referral was done in error because it should have said reconstruction surgery because according to Taylor they don't normally do any surgery on breast cancer patients who have had radiation due to the 99.9% risk of Infection. REALLY!!!! Because prior to my Radiation I was told by my Radiation Dr. that some women chose to have surgery done because radiation can cause some breast to look different after the treatment however that is not why I was getting a breast reduction, I want/need a reduction because I have chronic back and neck issues and I don't feel the need to have to carry around 10 lbs of breast. Taylor told me that I would need to lose about 10 lbs. (o.k. not going to argue with that) and after I got undressed and exposed my breast for her, a PA in training and (then she brought someone else in) she proceeded to measure all angles as she is telling me that they probably won't do the surgery due to the fact that patience that have had radiation have about 99.9% of getting infection and that's to high of a risk, she did however say that had I come in there "before" I received the radiation they would have had no problem doing the surgery. Oh brother, Really, let me next time make sure I plan when I have cancer. I was willing to lose weight and do whatever it took to prepare for the surgery.So with all that being said she said that the doctor would come in and meet with me. Why in the universe did I now need to meet with the doctor when there were three, not one but three people standing in there and nobody saying anything different?????? I am very very disappointed I was told after radiation there can be surgery done because my breast may need it, Taylor on the other hand said that surgery is not done after radiation and that they don't like to do surgery after radiation because it causes 99.9% infection.

Jill S Kennedy Bogar: Went to Dr Griggs in 1989 to have breast augmentation, silicone under muscle. It is now 2018, one year shy of 30 years since my procedure. I have never had a problem with my implants to this day but am considering having them replaced due to sagging of breast tissue. I went to Dr. Griggs consistently every year for approximately 10 years to make sure everything was ok until I moved out of the area. I am now thinking of going back to see if I should have them replaced. Great surgery, good Doctor.

elizabeth sampson: I have been going to Dr Griggs for over 15 years. That reviewer " Dubbs" is obviously a VERY difficult patient to please. There is always at least one patient in the bunch who is a "know it all" and who also comes off as one... He said as much himself... Which is pretty funny!!! I can see why Dr Griggs would get bad vibes from them. That husband obviously has no self awareness as to how he presents himself or his concerns. Every single time I have had anything done by him, I read, read, read on the internet about the procedure . I research until I feel I am extremely well informed. I also have somewhat of a medical background. When I go into see the doctor, I am very prepared to spout off my knowledge... But in s respectful, assertive way. It's obvious thetvthis patients husband spike aggressively. What person wouldn't get bad vibes? He's probably a perpetually unhappy, never satisfied person. And obviously, controllin and clueless about his personal presentation, as well. Dr Geiggs is an amazing person and Doctor. He takes as much time with a patient as the the patient wants. He never rushes. Yes, I have to admit at some times he seems overwhelmed, and yes, he has forgotten to look up something that I had asked him to look up at my last appointment two months ago. But as far as I am concerned, those VERY few times that this has occurred does not color my opinion or my faith in his expertise or his precision of his profession. He is truly a real doctor. Don't let some self righteous, potential patient's husbandaffect your decision to choose this doctor.

J Dub: My wife and I met with Dr. Griggs to discuss Breast augmentation. She had them done appx ten years ago and Dr. Griggs seemed almost annoyed that we knew so much about the procedure, implants, scarring etc. We requested the Velcro Bra that was originally provided from her first procedure. He stated he would look into finding one. Two weeks before the surgery we asked him again about it and he stated just get a bra from walmart it will be fine. I called 4 days before the surgery stating we specifically want the velcro medical bra and not a walmart bra and that I find it hard to believe he couldnt find one. He stated that he didnt really look. He said he was getting a bad Vibe from us. Mind you we had already payed him in full for the procedure. He didnt know what we were looking for from him, I said I am looking for someone who is going to be cutting into my wifes body and making permanent physical alterations to be someone who pays attention to detail and cares about their patients wants and needs which i did not feel he was. I do not recommend going to DR Griggs for any kind of work. I dont know the quality of his work but customer service is extremely poor and inadequate and we will be filing complaints with every department we can

I think the facelift would have been perfect had my neck been a little tighter as that was my main reason for getting it. Just a little sag was left that i believe could have been improved upon as it was within the realm of realistic expectations..No A+ but definitely an A..Dr Griggs is a caring and compassionate man that translates well into his ability and practice.

My surgery is sloppy, botch I sent the photos of my tummy to the clinic and they said it was still swollen and would go away about six months after the surgery. Its been one year ago and I am totally disappointed. flat at the bottom and like a volleyball at the top. It looks like a panniculectomy rather than a tummy tuck. I’m 100% sure i had a panniculectomy not a tummy tuck

Mariah Kurtz: Dr Johnson performed my breast reduction in spring 2021. From the first time I called her office to ask questions to our post-op follow up appointments every single person I spoke to in her office was extremely professional and courteous. Even if I felt my questions were silly they answered them completely and reassured me. I felt so confident the day of my surgery because everyone at this office was so on the ball. They helped me get approved by my insurance on the first try and my results look and feel amazing. I would recommend this office to anyone. Their physical office is also beautiful, located in a historic house. It's clean, bright, they play soft music, theyre very respectful of varying levels of privacy and personal comfort. Stephenie J: I was ready to use my $12,000 inheritance on a mommy makeover with Melissa, but the staff member who answered my call was extremely unhelpful (kept repeating the same line over and over, even interrupting me to do so when I would try to rephrase my question), rude (she hung up on me without allowing me to get the information I wanted before booking a consult), was demeaning and spoke like a robot. She wouldn't listen to anything I was trying to explain, just kept telling me "ok, you're just not understanding me", even though I was understanding her perfectly fine and she wasnt understanding what i asking (it was a simple question that she very easily could have answered had she shut her mouth long enough to ever let me finish it). She was extremely frustrating and unintelligent with seemingly no common sense or manners, and took it upon herself to turn away a desperate paying customer trying to book a consult and then a surgery. Also, her prices were not only considerably higher than similarly rated doctors in her area, but they don't even include basic things other places include in their prices (e.g., every other surgeon I've consulted about a tummy tuck includes a small amount of lipo if/as it is needed so you can actually enjoy your new body and be happy with your results right from the first surgery. She charges that as a total separate procedure, even though you're already there with the space booked, anesthesiologist booked, has you opened up, etc. I wouldn't recommend this surgeon's office over, for example, Dr. Griggs, a 4.2 star rating doctor, right in the same vicinity, with a much more helpful and COURTEOUS staff. His tummy tuck prices also include a small amount of lipo as needed to enhance your results.

Jennafer Catania-Fregeau: I didn’t think I’d ever be writing a review like this but I’m sorry to say I’m not that happy. I had a neck lift, chin implant and a lower face lift in May. I was only most concerned about finally having a jaw line for the first time in my life, and I had a recessed chin so I was told it would really help with the jawline. I totally agreed.I had my 6 month follow up at the end of November, and unfortunately I still don’t have a jawline. The chin implant looks great, I actually have some visible cheekbones, but I still don’t have a jawline. I have very thick saggy neck skin and I have no idea why. I admit to gaining around 3 lbs but I don’t think it’s all sitting in my neck. So now I don’t know what to do. I saved so much money for two years for this and I’m just so unhappy. So Dr Brooks recommended I lose weight.And that hurt.I got nothin.

Diana Garcia: I had an amazing experience with Dr. Brooks and his staff. His office/facility is very clean and comfortable atmosphere. During my consultation I was well informed and provided everything I needed to prepare me for my procedure. Day of surgery I was calm but very excited. I didn't have to wait long till I was taken into the O.R. and woke up about 3 hours later. I had zero pain coming out of surgery and continued to have no pain during the day and days following. I followed all instructions I was given to have the best results, went to all my post-op appointments where I was looked over, provided some laser treatments for my scars, and was told everything looked amazing. I just completed my 6 months post-op appointment today. Photos were taken and Dr. Brooks showed me a comparison of how I was prior to surgery and how I am today. He couldn't see the big smile I had under my mask, but I am extremely happy with my results and I don't regret ever coming to his office and choosing him and his staff on this journey.
