Unfortunately, I learned that there was nothing on the market today to replace this unique and handy faucet. I was doing a total master bath remodel and was sad that I couldn't replace this handy faucet. Reusing the faucet I loved seemed ridiculous as it had some mild erosion at the base…a flaw that would be apparent with my all new bathroom.The plumber suggested I look into having it replated. Replating?? I would have NEVER thought of replating! This was uncharted territory for me.I did some online research and called D&S Company in Holyoke.After a brief phone chat, I brought my old faucet to D&S.They were attentive and thoughtful to me and my old faucet. Two weeks later I returned to find the faucet looking all shiny and new. I couldn’t have been happier and the cost was reasonable. Debbie, Tom and Steve were all very helpful and friendly. Everyone treated me like I was an old friend.A little heads up: Don’t count on a GPS or online map. D&S is a bit tucked away but EASY to find when you know where it is. Just ask Debbie or another employee for directions.
