Joy Bowl Poke Springfield: what do users think?
Tati Oquendo: This was my go to for food but after today certainly not. I received expired FISH. Taste was so horrible. I had to throw away my entire bowl just so I wouldn’t get sick.

Susan Jones: I never went there.
badiab jake: First time goer but it was a healthy serving and very flavorful
Regal Randy: Pretty good food but for the price, I'd literally go to any other place. It's definitely not a place that should be in a low income section of Springfield, I genuinely dont know who theyre catering to. You can go to Sakura restaurant in Ludlow which is like the same thing.
Regina Kleiner: Fresh yummy food and the staff is friendly.
Mike Speight: Delicious fresh ingredients, worth the money. Got some poke bowl in nyc that cost the same but wasn’t anywhere near as good.
Talyn Munn: After going to the establishment for about two years, my opinion and experience with the owner has always been that he has a lack or sense of what it is to give good customer service. He lacks in communication and common courtesy. Never a sorry about the inconvenience or issue. Today I order over the phone to pick up because I was going to eat on my thirty min break. After arriving I received my order and knew something was off based the receipt. After opening the bowl I saw contents present on my reciept and things I asked for during my order were missing. I asked for a refund and had to explain why, to the owner, three times. He did not apologize, ask how he can rectify or compensate me for the inconvenience. Poor customer service as it pertains to hospitality.
Brooke Thoreson: Delivery: YesMore
Eduarda Ceballos Bojorquez: the food is very good! a little on the expensive side but other than that great place to eat
Dave Sherman: Went to get a Poke Bowl for dinner tonight. When I gave the server my completed loyalty card I was informed they no longer honor them. I just completed it 2 weeks ago. This business has made a decision that loyal customers are not important. This is unacceptable to me and I will not be going back, EVER!!!!!Update: I received a call that night from the manager who apologized for the misunderstanding. He informed me they will honor the loyalty cards, but are coming out with a new app based loyalty program in the near future. On that basis I will give them the benefit of the doubt and continue to patronize their business.
Angelica Polk: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Delivery: YesMore
Rose Hernandez: I honestly wasn't impressed by anything but my gyoza was good...

Morgan Adams: Do not place a pickup order for the future. Your food will be COLD. They just make it right when you put in the order. Do not recommend to anyone.
Nina: It is good and order pick up is pretty fast. The cashiers could be friendlier and not pushy for a tip! Make sure u get your card stamps to get a free bowl. There is sometimes also coupons in the paper.
Hoa Thai: Love their poke bowls!
Sasha Blair-Goldensohn: Tasty, fresh poe and friendly service. Plus, two large, immaculate ♿ accessible restrooms. Thanks Joy Bowl!
Jam Imagination: Great food! Love the quality and how tasty it is😋 interior is nice and modern*don't mind that I already ate some of it...
Eric Shapiro: So very disappointed. They hardly give you any protein anymore. Tiny little scoops of fish. A long time customer but won’t be returning
Elyse: Never had a bad experience here! I order semi regularly through GrubHub, and it's always fresh and delicious.
Gilberto Otero: Not a fan of this location. Wilbraham road much better. Dump it in a bowl and they barely put anything. Person who answered the phone sounded delighted to be working there. Avoid this location.
Anthony Hannoush: Poke bowls from Joybowl used to be my go to for dinner after a long day at work. $18 bucks or whatever it came out to after tip was fine, until my last few trips.. I’m not sure if their is new ownership, or if the people that ran the place previously have left, but this is not the same Joybowl I’ve been a patron of for the past few years, as one of their best customers… the reasoning behind the three is in hopes of the couple that had run the place to return, if not, it will probably stay the same..EDIT: Seems like staff is much better trained now, clean, and very filling bowls. Portions are worth the 18 bucks , thank you JoyBowl
Muuu: Usually liked this place, haven’t been in a bit and the food was okay but the rude worker with the curly dark hair felt the need to give me side eyes and then whisper to the woman who was taking care of me and just look at me and laugh with her, For really no reason since I just was getting food and getting out. On top of her unnecessary attitude the food was okay. Definitely not as good as before. Either way i wouldn’t bother going here since there’s other joybowl locations worth the drive, quality, and to be treated like a decently.
S K: This place has gone downhill in customer service quality and food service quality. They are and have been consistently rude and unprofessional to my partner when they go in for food. They often give smaller than usual portions. Tonight, they were rude to my partner, didnt give them my receipt, and completely messed up our orders. They put many of my ingredients into the other bowl. My portion looks pitiful. Done making the trip here.
Rachelle Maccarone: The place is really cute and the food was good, but my bowl was just saturated with spicy mayo and I felt like I had more of that than any of my other ingredients. I love getting poke because it fills you up without making you feel heavy, but I had a stomachache after and I really do think it was because of how much spicy mayo I had. I ordered ahead and picked it up, so it had a little time to settle and work its way through the whole bowl, so it wasn't like something just on top that I could have wiped some off. I saw another photo posted on the reviews and it looks like theirs was absolutely covered too, and I think it's just a bit too much for such a light and fresh meal. So I just think a warning to people ordering would be to say light on the topping sauces if you get something like that.Features: Staff was masked
Andy Ramos: Food is good, place is clean and people are friendly. Keep in mind food is pricey.
barbara berthiaume: Very good lunch. Nice array of choices!
Tammy Mullen: Delicious 😋
Tyler Beach: Being into poke bowls. I would say that this could possibly be the worst poke bowl in western Massachusetts, if not maybe all of Massachusetts. Highly disappointed. Would not go again. If I could give zero stars I would, but I had to give you one.I don’t see joy bowl lasting.. place used to be half way decent until now. I wouldn’t touch this establishment with a ten foot pole. Do yourself a favor and find another spot!-TB

Ash “By Ash”: This is by far the best Hawaiian place in the region, the food is very high-quality and very fresh and the portions are very large for the price. I will definitely continue going here and I have been going here for many years. There are not many places that the quality remains high overtime but this is definitely one of them. Adding to that as staff are very polite and friendly and are always willing to help

Ruth Tirado: I always order a custom brown and alternate between different sauces. Everything they've got is super fresh and i like that i can accommodate different menu items each time i visit. I also recommend to try the boba teas with tapioca boba it's an experience you have to try at least once.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5Recommended dishes Seaweed Salad, Build Your Own Bowl - Single Protein, Large Thai Coconut Curry Soup …More
Jillyan Latham: The food was good, but the service was terrible!Today I went to your restaurant in Easthampton with my boyfriend and my older teen sons for my birthday. One of my sons is neurodivergent, and he struggles with decision making- so places that require him to do so are great because I will walk through him with a “do you want this, or that” and he narrows it down. This is a skill he needs that we are working on.When we arrived the place was empty, I didn’t know if you were open as the sign was off. But the lights inside were on, so we tried the door and went in. When inside, we didn’t see any workers but quickly some arrived- awesome. She had asked if we had been there before, we had. I had stated to her, yes but a long time ago.My son began to talk with me to work through his choices to decide what he wanted. The person behind the counter (had short semi curly hair) interuppted and said “clearly you haven’t been here before so I ( accentuating the I) will explain.” And then she proceeded to do so in an extremely rude and condescending tone. This made my family very uncomfortable to a point where I had stated to my boyfriend you know what maybe we should just leave. But my sons had the heart set on eating there, so we stayed. She seemed to be rushing us along, we were the only people there and I had said “we are going to need a few minutes” several times; and yet she continued to pushed.A lady walked in, so I told her that we’d be a few minutes to please go in front of us. We were not holding up the line, he just needed a few moments. When it was our turn my son mustered the courage to place his order- he asked me several times how to do so, I explained repeatedly, she heard him practice with me as she was standing right in front of us. “Sushi rice with chicken, sushi rice with chicken” When he stated to her he’d like sushi rice as that’s what it says on the menu… she snapped at him “white or brown” the way the sign read, it seemed as though sushi rice is different than brown rice. He has assumed sushi rice was white rice- he was obviously nervous and trying his best.As they went through the process and he asked what things were she was extremely condescending often rolling her eyes and sighing heavily. She explained things to him a dry tone, which I knew was not her natural cadence as a regular came in and she gave him what looked like to be a Victorian copper bed warmer. To him she was kind and jovial. When it came to my order with my partner she grabbed him the regular size bowl- but asked me if I wanted small or large- only too me, she didn’t ask anyone else this. I am a plus size woman, this is insulting. We had ordered two power blend and she kept going “white rice” to me. I said no, power blend. She put significantly less in mine than his. But we kept powering through- it is my birthday and my boys strived to make today a good one.Every time I would ask for something she’d say “repeat that” yet I was talking louder than my partner who she had no difficulty with. When I asked for things like light onions she loaded it up,  one heaping spoonful and went back for a second. When I said, that’s good. She dropped it down and rolled her eyes.As we sat to eat she clanged and banged the containers that customers select items from. We had just gone through- these containers were full. I cannot fathom a reason to be banging them around. It was apparent she was upset we were dining in.She was fine with my neurotypical son and my boyfriend but was extremely rude, unwelcoming and unprofessional to myself but more importantly my neurodivergent child. Not all disabilities are able to be seen and should not need to announced. In a culture inundated by Karen’s- I hope you understand that I am not striving to be one. It is my hope that a conversation is had with the individual to prevent anyone else from feeling the way she made my son and I. It is so important that we are inclusive and kindness is free.
Beth McElhiney: Love this place! I get a custom bowl and it is always fresh and yummy. I also love the mango tea.
Michelle Cretella: I just went here for bubble tea and got two mango teas with mango popping bubble. They tastetaste just like there was acetone in it. It had a very bad aftertaste, and the flavor was very off. I could not even take a second sip of it. I feel like I just wasted money to throw it away :( will not be going back.
Rebecca Morgan: Always fresh, always tasty, and always quick and efficient service! Perfect spot for lunchFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jim Bromberg: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Nichole Vaiknoras: Friendly staff, great food and boba tea! It was my mom and stepfathers first time trying a poke bowl, and the woman working was so patient. My mom is already talking about going back.
Sandi Lem: Bowls are pretty small and rice was not seasoned. It wasn't at all what I expected and did not satisfy.
Kelly Kelly: I had a fresh salmon poke with everything, and it was great!Price is right and great staff.
lillian tauscher: I usually don’t write reviews but this made me so happy. I order here all the time and they usually are never out of anything but I thought it was so sweet she gave me a substitute to try on the side!! It was super good
Rachel Farley: This place is not what I would call a poke place. It's not remotely authentically prepared, which was disappointing to me. 💔I will say that the ingredients used seem very FRESH and the place is CLEAN. The quality of the fish is FANTASTIC!I thought some of the mixes seemed *creative* to what I'm used to seeing, which did give me pause that I was really going to get poke. The biggest let down is really the rice is NOT prepared correctly at ALL. It's very bland and reminds me of plain dinner rice.⚡The rice is PARAMOUNT to a good poke bowl. ⚡The rice tastes very starchy. I suspect the rice hasn't been washed or that anything but water was used to prepare this rice.It would be great if they could get someone in here who actually knows how to prepare this authentically. I hope they do, because I would be in here ALL the time if they addressed this. They are doing so much right as a restaurant, this just isn't poke.It seems like whomever owns this restaurant has never had a poke bowl, or doesn't understand the nuances. It's very much like someone said "I can make that at home" without any understanding of how to prepare the dish.Uya in Northampton makes a good bowl and I suggest if you want to try an authentic poke bowl, to go there.
A: Overpriced. Poor quality. Hidden costs.Features: None
Rebecca Tamm Shettler: Fantastic! Will definitely be back. Fresh food, berry tasty, service spot on.Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Delivery: No …More
Richard Maynard: Refreshing and lite, yet filling all at the same time. Had the Poh-ke Bowl which had both tuna and salmon along with a ton of veggies. Flavor profile was mild, yet diverse with different notes throughout. Wife and I will be back.
jacqui windham: I found a hidden gem here. The soup is "souper" good and tasty. The friend I go with to this place comments on how clean it is and she is a clean freak. That is her highest compliment besides the yummy soup and green tea. I like the acoustics. Peaceful. I look forward to trying other dishes and soups .
Adrian Martin: The rice was chewy and dry. I found it unpleasant to eat.
Amanda Ramos: Awesome food! staff is super sweet and friendly
Rom She: Does not taste authentic.Prices are a little high
John Fish: Healthy tasty fast food, a life saver!
katie: fresh and delicious bowls + bubble tea! portions are generous. Overall exceeded my expectations and left me excited to come back for more! Highly recommend.
