Mona Rastegar: *note: this review is for the baystate system and front office administration. It doesn’t reflect the OT and PT staff who have been helpful and nice to work with.This place perfectly exemplifies the low standards, services, and quality of healthcare in this part of the state. The front office administration at this place is horrendous. Some of the people up front were helpful and did their best with an abysmal scheduling system while others will make you feel bad about trying to schedule appointments. I get it’s not their fault but it’s still just an unpleasant experience.My main issue is with management. The scheduling is inconsistent, rules change, appointments don’t get scheduled, etc. and they simply don’t care. Baystate has a monopoly around here for many services and they know it and therefor have no incentive to improve.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you can. Every branch of the baystate system has consistently failed me and the needs of my family.

PJ Stuart: Seriously hideously run rehab. Can only make appointments two weeks in advance, and they are always full. It's an insane way to run a rehab. Going to Mercy instead.

Zoey Evans: I have been calling for months and they have yet to call back. I understand there is a staff shortage but communication is key. The therapist themselves seem competent if you manage to get an appointment.

Elissa Gouge: i met with Tina for an intake interview. I have acute left side back pain, rated 10/10 with a physician referral for urgent therapy. I needed physical therapy desperately. Tina placed me in a chair providing little support and began her interview. I was profoundly uncomfortable, moved to another chair, tried to do something/anything to relieve the pain. I left, astonished that physical therapy would be a disaster at Baystate. I have attended Baystate in the past and always held the hospital and staff in high esteem. No more. I am seeking physical therapy elsewhere with competent, observant and responsive staff.

Matt Benoit: Charged over $700 for an evaluation that lasted 30 minutes. Was told this is the going rate. Ridiculous.

aaron abreu: There aren’t words to say how much I appreciate what the people at Weldon did for me. When I was admitted I was barely able to lift my right arm and let out of bed….2 weeks later that had me power walking down the hall! I never thought I would recover fully but I recovered months before my Dr thought I would and I big reason why is because of the patient care at Weldon.The PCT’s answered the call bell almost instantly (Jennifer, Frank, Lucy)…the RN’s were also amazing. OT (Sara) gave me so many good exercises to bring home with me and showed me how to get back to doing the things I would do on a normal day. Kassidy in Physical therapy was amazing at helping me get my strength back. I also met Ginger who would come around just to make sure patients don’t get bored and down while in rehab. She was the nicest lady.I can’t say enough about Weldon. I hope I never need to go back but if I do I will only go to Weldon.Thank you all!

Kim Thib: Most of the staff was wonderful with my mom. She made steady improvements in function and strength. The rehabilitation therapists make up for any issues I may have had. I do feel the cleaning staff could do a better job.

Steven Barrett: I had my biggest stroke right around the Christmas weekend and after spending four days in Northampton's Cooley Dickinson Hospital, I was taken by ambulance to the Weldon Center because I was told they'd provide a rigorous regimen to get me back on my feet with more confidence. Boy, a stroke takes a lot of that out. But it takes a great caring staff to help their patients get the job done of restoring nearly all of it back. Just to give you an idea of how thorough the staff was, when I managed to "graduate" a day earlier than my little short of three wks planned stay, when I returned home to Hadley, it only took one visit for the visiting nurse to determine I was set to go on my own, (at least within and for short walks around my neighborhood. When I first arrived at Weldon, I was such a wreck that to walk any distance required the help of a walker and cane. I'm sixty s ix, but a young sixty-six and with the Weldon Ctr's help, I was able teo stay that way. I still have some lingering stiffness, but none that I can't overcome thanks to the help I received at Weldon. And my mind, alm ost as sharp as a tack, and we all know what strokes can do to that sharpness. Thanks Friends.

Richard Henry: I have been going to Weldon rehabilitation for about 6 weeks because I had a partial knee replacement 9 weeks ago. I did a lot of research before picking this rehab place and I'm so glad I did. My therapist Stacey has been so wonderful and has helped me so much. I even had a couple of medical problems when I was there but Stacey and some of the other therapist helped me so much. Also as I was there I also noticed that all of the therapist's we're very nice and professional. Also when they say that your appointment is at a certain time, they are usually right on time. I don't think that you'll go wrong picking Weldon for your PT needs.

Not only do you receive professional care, but the entire staff is respectful, friendly and welcoming.PT, Heather Moskal and her team prepare a detailed plan of care for the individual needs of every client and evaluated frequently. The team's concern is genuine, considerate yet challenging. I sincerely doubt if their own family would be given any better care.

Step Og: 2017 herniated a disc in my back. I couldn’t walk unaided at all. By my second visit I walked out on my own for the first time in 2 months. I was not a viable candidate for surgery thanks to the PT’s. 2018 had a reinjury to my back I was walking straight after the first visit. I’m now being seen due to an avulsion fracture of my right ankle and after just two visit I have already improved to the point of needing to wear an ankle brace daily to walk, to only needing it if I’m going to be walking or driving for an extended period.So they don’t just get results they actually help aid in the healing process. It does require WORK on your part as well.If you just want to feel better keep doing or going where you are now, but if your ready to start healing then come and see them!!!
