Jacob Greene: I go to public day middle school I love the school staff is great it just I was in the school it was 5 weeks in I had a girl touch me and I had been telling them next week after all the school did was move her to the other class I would say that it's a good school for 5 stars but I'm giving it 3 because what they do
John Drumm: They wait until the last minute to post when school closes because of weather! So the many people who have to get children to school or work for the school have to go out in bad, DANGEROUS conditions. If you canceled school don't do it at 515!!

Mike Vazquez: I'm a student right now and the schools lunches are horrible. They don't taste good at all. Sometimes things are rotten or expired. And I hate how bad the food taste that hundreds of kids grab it and throw it out. They need to make better food for us kids. Also I'm pretty sure all adults when they pay taxes they use there taxes some of the taxes for us to get food because they want kids to eat good not to be really hungry in class because the food is discusting
Matthew Linares: This school district is the worst thing that can happen to a handicapped child and their families. I recently moved from out of state to Springfield MA and I am very upset. my 6 year old boy with autism attention deficit hyperactivity disorder diagnosed by three different neurologists and receives SSI I went to the office at 91 School st and I explained and gave the tests to the supervisor Michelle to Carmen but he did not care at all about the conditions They sent the child to a regular school every day They call me from school to look for him My nervous child crying. Park does not tolerate Loud noise. don't sit for a long time can't follow instructions etc..... now my child is suffering every day
sandra vazquez: No service no help, can't get questions answered, can't get information. Can we please get support from the School Department. No wonder the principle at my kids school runs around screaming all the time and they have teachers that treat the kids as if we are still living in the 30s. These are the people and bad service we are forced to deal with. At Springfield Public School..

Becki Caraballo: This department is a joke!! As a mother I’ve tried to explain many of times what is the best thing for my daughter. They don’t care. They are rude. They don’t answer your questions. They leave parents wondering. Hindering a child isn’t right or fair. Emotional support should be taking seriously. This school department don’t care. And if you have different views then the school department they hung up in your face even tho your fighting for your child!!! You guys are paid to help kids not destroy them and that’s what this department does

Natasha Marcial: Worst experience ever today..They give you the only hard time to take your kids out of school early for a appt. Waited over 20 minutes at Rebecca Johnson school for my son to come out, made me miss one appt. Also at Duggan they treat you like the child is not yours. You see many parents picking up there kids with no ID but yet they ID me. Mind you I'm the main parent on all paperwork.Took me over 1 hour to pick up my kids for appt.
Carmen Maria Baez: Horrible, I have my kid w special need, the school was chosen by the district and doesn't me allow to change her from the horrible school that she isn't to another of my choice. Awful experience, they don't listen to parents that's a shame. I have proof that they said to me : YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR KID TO ANOTHER SCHOOL, THE DISTRICT DON'T ALLOW YOU TO DO THAT.
susan martin: My twin autistic grandsons have been students of Springfield Public Schools since pre-school. They have had nothing but great teachers, and learning. They are going into 6th grade this 2019-2020 school year and have come a long way thanks to the school system. Let anyone say what they will about Spfld. Public School System, but they have always done right by my grandsons. Thank you.Susan Martin
Emily Gilbert: There is no such thing as justice in the school system when you have connections with lawyers and people in the school committee. A fight broke out and only one student got suspended. Where is the justice and logic in that? It clearly shows the lack of safety for students when one student has connections and power and the other doesn’t. Putnam Vocational Technical Academy has put my safety and the safety of others in jeopardy.
Yanira Pacheco: The Springfield public school system is a joke period they don't care about the future of the kids.you try to contact them and never get called back never pick up their phones always get a busy signal iv been having trouble with them since my son first entered the Springfield schools
Myob You: One of the WORST public school systems in the state of Massachusetts. Half of these people don't care about the future of our children and sadly, some parents do not advocate hard enough for their children. I have had such a rude awakening since coming here. LEAVE immediately if this is your only option and if you truly care about your children's future. The faces that fill these classrooms and administrations don't resemble our population and don't really give a hell either.
Caitlin Fitzallen: Hi there, I do not know how to contact you otherwise as I could not find an email address on your website, but wanted to make you aware that my office (a law firm in Australia) receives multiple property law enquirers per week from emails from Springfield Public Schools. I understand that your emails or system have been hacked and would appreciate if you looked into this. These enquirers are fake. They always have a gmail or hotmail account cc and if we reply they send us a link to a google drive doc or similar which is presumably some sort of virus. Oliver Duncan: Love it but at times it's boring
MonaLisa Leung Beckford: I graduated from the IB program (I'm not sure if the school still has the IB program now). I loved the program, got into six out of seven colleges, and graduated salutatorian. I still keep in touch with some high school friends after all these years. The teachers at this school were very friendly and cared about our success. The downside is, this school houses mostly underperforming and struggling students, and it's in a bad neighborhood with high crime rate. If you excel in school and you get into Commerce, make sure you join the Honors Classes (or IB if they still have it).
Alexander: Too many kids, so it makes it difficult to learn anything.
Tikidra Taylor: Good athletic program, very crowded so it's hard to attend to all the academic needs and Disciplinary
