Kelie Smith: I neglected to get the name of the person who assisted me, but I've never done skateboarding before or used anything similar other than a Razor scooter, so I was a little nervous going in. The individual who assisted me was very knowledgeable and a few of the other employees there were very nice too. For some reason I expected way less than I was given but my second time walking into a store to ask questions landed me with a longboard. I don't think I've ever been to a more nicer place.

Jenna Berry: Most unprofessional store experience I have ever had. First of all, when we walked in they were blasting trap music so loud that I couldn’t talk to anyone or focus on shopping. The store was a complete disaster and the sale shoe section was like playing jenga. Clearly not taken care of. All associates ignored us and did not even greet us as we walked in. They were on their phones and only helped when we walked over and got in their faces with a question. We decided to order a pair of shoes since they didn’t have the right size and as we were checking out the associate left in the middle of the transaction without saying anything. The other associate standing there was on his phone and not paying attention at all and we had to ask him to complete the transaction. And he did not explain anything such as how long shipping would take or how payment worked, he sinply expected us to know. He handed us the reciept and didn’t say anything, we had to ask if we were all set. Worst customer service I have ever seen! Can I speak to the manager?

Dan Clark: I give this store a one star rating because I called in advance looking for a specific pair of shoes (Supra Vaider Cold Weathers). I am from Connecticut and went to my local Zumiez in Meriden. 1 of the associates couldn't find the shoes in stock at his store, but told me that if I went to the Holyoke Zumiez, they would have it in stock. Of course, me not willing to drive somewhere a decent distance away without being exactly sure the place would have an item in stock, I called. The associate there told me that they did in fact have the shoes in stock, so I drove an hour to go grab a pair. Upon arriving at the store, I find that the rep I spoke with clearly had no idea of the products that her store sold. She lazily pointed me to the rack and not a shoe was the one I asked for. I checked twice to make she knew the exact pair I was looking for. I was so beside myself that I walked out without another word. Maybe it's this store, maybe it's Zumiez as a company, or sadly, maybe it's just the way the world has become, but nobody seems to give a s*** about knowing the product they sell or having any manners when people walk in to spend their money on a product.

Ryan B: SALES GUY WAS AN ASSI bought a longboard from them for $100 and brought it back because the bushings needed replacing. The guy then told me I shouldn't have even bought the board because it "sucks" and tried selling me new trucks to make my board "a little better" he was super rude and blatantly trying to make me spend more money. Check prices before going!
