Tim Lebestky: In retrospect, my family's experience with the Fertility Clinic at Baystate in Springfield has been largely and consistently negative. I would not recommend pursuing IVF at this facility. We had been working with this practice for multiple years and in the last year they have lost 3 doctors, turn over for nurses seems high, and our interaction with the lab has also been problematic. We did not obtain a viable pregnancy from our efforts from 2 separate rounds of egg extractions, and there were problems with embryo testing, insurance paperwork filing, lack of timely communication, lack of confidence in our doctors and their availability to discuss outcomes, and disorganization in the clinic. I recognize that it's likely that those who end a relationship without a viable pregnancy may seem inclined or incentivized to post a negative review, but I would encourage anyone who is considering IVF or fertility needs to ask a lot of questions about this practice and do your homework. Again, I would not recommend this practice for your journey, and I sincerely wish the best for you.
sarah njoroge: Called clinic as I was advised to do on cycle day #1multiple times within a span of 3 days without call back. Still waiting and wondering if it’s worth taking a chance with this clinic. Very disappointed
sabrina Henault: Baystate reproductive medicine completely forgot about me two months in a row and then told me their labs were closed for a month. The office manager called me to admit they forgot about my case and they dropped the ball(all while appologizing profusely and then did it again the following month).My doctor left to go to another practice and the office didn't follow up with me. They don't return phone calls or communicate effectively whatsoever. The stress and turmoil this has caused led me to move to another infertility clinic.
Heather Baldwin: Called 4-5 times within a span of 5 days to speak to a doctor and still haven’t spoken to one. The nurses could careless about your struggles with infertility
Anasa Brown: The most unprofessional place ever especially when woman are going through tough situations I had an appointment that I waited months for and the before my appointment they changed the time without getting a confirmation from me so when I arrived they told me I was late when I was actually on time you would think they would try to accommodate me somehow since their next appointment was 3months out
Jeremiah H: My wife and I have been dealing with infertility for almost a decade. After multiple offices, we ended up having our best cycles with Baystate Reproductive Biology Lab & IVF Unit. After taking a couple year break for our mental healths' my wife and I came back to try another round with Baystate. Coming back to this cycle, you can see an apparent decrease in the quality of care. The doctors are more frigid and the nurses seem like they couldn't care less. A disgusting and disheartening experience; nothing anyone who is facing infertility issues should have to deal with.
Jesse Morrisey: My wife and I had a great experience here. I am transgender and had previously undergone egg extraction prior to starting testosterone. When we were ready, my wife and I did reciprocal IVF and she carried our baby! I have nothing but good things to say about the doctors and staff here.
Kasey Richards: This is by far the worst medical experience I’ve experienced in my life. Terrible communication, pushed off cycles due to them missing tests I needed, then they are short staffed so stopped donation programs. Does not feel like they care at all. The receptionists are the only ones that seem to be nice and have it together. If you can avoid it DO NOT trust this place with something so important.
Ann Onnymo: Very troubling to be waiting 4 days for a callback. Many of us have resorted to comparing protocol notes in private facebook groups due to epic delays in returning calls. Also:Protocol changed without notice, adding to confusion and stress leading up to this cycle.Calendar not received until the day I was told to start checking in.Paperwork with the calendar advises using supplements that are contraindicated for my health condition, with no warning or asterisks to speak to my doctor first.Very Stressful and Negligent
Leah Klein: Baystate is so far behind, they're causing people ready for their transfers to be late. That means 1+ more month behind on a transfer, another month of medicine down the drain.72 hours to return a phone call is not just a shame, it's a tragedy. Can't reach staff, can't talk to the doctor. They need to get to work.
