NJ B (JB): Arrived at this career center today, and expected to have a positive experience in helping me find a career. Instead, I received no help whatsoever, only humiliation by the "CEO" Kevin Lynn. The building had two more hours to remain open before they closed, when I first came in about an hour or so before this, all I was told was to watch an intro video. A video that pretty much put me to sleep and during the video I was looking at employees, making it quite aware that I may need some assistance. I gave up raising my hand after the third attempt. I understand sleeping at a career center is not acceptable, however, that is not the reason that brought me in. I didn't say, "I think I'm going to go down to the Springfield career center to take a nap, because it's that comfortable...I mean c'mon. I have never seen such lack of professionalism, especially from a CEO of a company. Maybe a warning or possibly the question of, is there a reason you fell asleep? Is there something we failed to help you with? Umm, thanks for asking, and yes there is. How pathetic, I'm extremely disappointed. By far the worst career center experience I have ever had.

John Papasodora: Very good location with lots of free parking. The building is newer and very clean. They offer many different programs for unemployed workers such as computer classes, resume writing and use of computers for job searching. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have onsite job fairs and help answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend giving them a visit if you're having trouble finding a job.
