JeanneLaree: I grew up in Springfield coming to this pool. Here on a visit and decided to bring my child to allow him to see the fun I use to have. The life gaurds definitely do their jobs. A little extra but I understand safety first. I want to thank Mr. Micheal in the blue shirt for being so hands on and pro active. There was a lot of weed smoking and the cop that was here today just sat in his chair. Whereas, Michael was informing them to smoke outside several times to many kids here for that. Micheal deserves recognition.

Crystal Matos: This is a really nice pool. The girl in the front was awesome the day I went. If I can I would give her 5 stars but as for everything else, it was just a nightmare. I have a 8 Year old boy who has autism. And he kept getting overly excited and when he was flapping his hands he accidentally hit other kids which I apologize for and told him hands to himself. He loves the sprinklers but because he kept putting his little feet over one of the sprinklers they kept blowing the whistle at him and approaching after I’ve told them he autistic and non verbal. Finally I just couldn’t take it anymore. I felt bad cause I never have this problem anywhere else I go. This place is horrible definitely not autism friendly.

My experience there with a gentleman by the name of Howard was by far the best experience I have had out of all the places I have been so far. His knowledge was fantastic! christine tougas: We are very disappointed in Namco. We purchased our pool from namco and have purchased liners and various parts from Namco. Several times they have helped us and directed to the wrong item. Caused an extra trip or two to go back for right part, but we knew it was just an honest mistake. We’ll, I went yesterday to buy a skimmer assembly. The clerk helping picked out the unit. It didn’t look right to me so I questioned her. She INSISTED this was the correct part for my pool. It was the wrong part. Headed over tonight to exchange and guess what? They charged me a 15% restocking fee! $10.62 for their error. I understand the clerk was trying to help, but if they don’t know what is right and pick the part.There should be no restocking fee. Really disappointed that the fee wasn’t waived.

Kelly Haygood: Paul saved my butt today 8/12/2022. The collar on my filter broke and they didn’t have any in stock. I was losing water by the gallo and he was able to give me the floor models collar. I cannot say enough about Paul. Thank you Paul and Namco for hiring someone that truly cares about his customers.

Jorge Aponte: Pool purchased last winter with promise pool would be installed by memorial day weekend of 2021. That never happened. This year we were supposedly 1st on list for install, to only have installer say he cant install pool d/t a wet ground. Installer never gave me any other alternative for installation but gloated about how he is the only installer in mass and he is the best, however the only suggestion he offered was waiting for dry weather. WE LIVE IN NEW ENGLAND. Awaiting a refund. I would never recommend Namco pools to a friend or family member.

Kerry Columbus: Bought a pool there in April after being referred by a coworker who bought his a couple weeks before me. Customer service was good in the store and the associate took the time explaining everything to me and even repeating himself a few times due to my young kids being with me and me missing what he said. I appreciated that part of the experience, however everything after that was down hill. So like I said I bought the pool in April, April 24th to be exact and was told it would be installed by mid June. My coworker who bought his two weeks before me was told his pool would be installed by the beginning of June, so ok this makes sense to me. I was told due to where I live in Mass, I would have to use a New York installer and would receive a call a couple weeks before with the install date, ok no big deal, so May comes and my pool arrives on a pallet until the install, ok I’m thinking everything is on schedule. Beginning of June, no phone call, I check with my coworker, no phone call for him either. We both call the store and are told that the New York installer backed out and we have to wait for an installer out of Connecticut and we need to contact him ourselves. Ok, that seems odd, but I want my pool so call the installer and he says he’s backed up and shouldn’t even be doing installs in my area. Couple more weeks go by, no call from anybody, call the store again and now they say they didn’t complete and/or file all the paper work so I wasn’t even on and install list. The find the paper work I filled out in April and are able to get me on the install list. Installer calls and says the date will be the first week of July. Installer comes and everything goes smoothly, great company, great crew. I couldn’t be happier with the installers. However I am extremely dissatisfied with Namco as a store.So the installers do their part and it’s then that I realize that Namco never shipped my ladder with my pool. I call the store again and talk to the manager Ed, who at this point we have talked a few times and seem to be like old friends, Ed tells me that the associate never rang up my ladder because they didn’t have any in stock when I bought my pool. That’s funny, I went over everything with the associate line by line and was never told the ladder wasn’t in stock. So now I have a giant lawn ornament that my young kids are looking at wondering when are they going to be able to use the pool. So I explain to Ed that I went over everything and was never told the ladder wasn’t in stock and that is something I should’ve been told so I could’ve made sure to get a ladder before my pool was installed. I asked him how a mistake like that happens to which he replied “I don’t consider it a mistake, didn’t you check your bill of lading when your pallet was delivered, you would’ve saw that the ladder wasn’t there.” Are you serious, he’s blaming me now, I’m sorry that I didn’t know or understand all the abbreviations and codes on the bill of lading, but again had I been told in April I wasn’t getting a ladder I would’ve made other arrangements before hand. So now the pool is up and I am borrowing a ladder until mine is delivered in a couple of weeks…sorry for everyone reading this long review, I just want everyone informed…oh and Namco you can save your time replying to this review because I’m not going to read your response or step foot in your store again. Complete incompetence and and a useless company.

Ellen Miller: We paid for our pool March 10th with the promise if I paid that week it would be set up before Memorial Day. I had excellent service when I was buying the pool and the person was most attentive. I drove down to pay and sign papers that week. It went downhill from there. It's late June, and the pool has not even arrived. I did not get notified that it was shipped and the company did not ship to my area. Calling the store no one really seemed to care. Finally, I was able to talk to someone in the corporate office who has been answering my emails and calls at least. The installer has no idea when he will be able to get it in, and he is overbooked. If I knew this was going to happen I would have bought local. I am really disappointed and feel like I am losing the whole summer without a pool. If I ran a business and this had happened, I would be calling my client and updating at the very least.Update: Our pool arrived June 24th and installer called and said he would be there June 28th. He came that day, and I didn't realize it was a three day process. First guy comes sets up space. Next day another guy comes sets up pool and then they have to come after you filled it a bit to do something else. I have to say the installers did a great job! So that was a pleasant surprise. Namco does not tell you that they don't put your pump in as a part of installation. We got the guys to do it, by offering a little extra cash to them, but they couldn't complete it because Namco did not tell us we need an adapter. I am pleased with installers but wish Namco would be more communicative with their customers.

Chad Irish: They worked very hard to accommodate our request for a pool when they were hard to come by this spring. When it finally arrived, all questions were answered courteously and professionally. Questions about the pool after it was installed were met with a desire to help and get it right. I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience, and I highly recommend Mr. Pool and Spa.

Jacob Rodriguez: I grew up going to this pool, but man things have changed. The rules in the pool are outrages. You cant jump in, you cant throw a ball in the pool, you cant have a kid with their hands on your shoulder as you swim. Worse one I saw was some lady was dipping her feet on the edge and was given the whistle. Apparently dipping your feet on the edge is against the rules. Pool is nice, place was clean, but too aggressive with the whistle. I found it annoying, or could it be that my nostalgia from my childhood was destroyed when returning and seeing it nothing like it used to be.
