It has a huge golf dept, bicycles, shoes, camping, and every sports apparel needed.The employees are always helpful and they are generally available. There are plenty of parking spots and the mall is a pain to get into, but easy to get out of.

Finally, a girl who was not assigned to the register dropped everything and came over to check us out as she saw the disappointment on my face... A set of golf clubs and accessories is not a small purchase... and people wonder why stores are closing down. There is something to be said for in person shopping... Don't help it go away.

My wife and I first Ed walked in and was immediately greeted by a very nice girl named Sarah who was working at the checkout. Easily 3-5 more employees said hello and greeted us. It was a little weird as usually you only see this kind of customer service down South. Don’t get me wrong I completely understand why everybody walks by says hi and approaches due to all the bad that is going on with retail theft at the big box stores all the way down to the mom-and-pop stores that are getting run out of business. But I will tell you what for the good of it to be greeted and treated so nicely keep it up don’t ever stop! Now we end our shopping experience with Sarah. Wow my wife and I are truly impressed with Sarah. She deserves a raise and or paid time off. Thank you Sarah!

Ovide Cadran: Attitude at the Enfield, CT location.Generally speaking I have no issues with product, pricing, etc. at the store. I only have a need to go to Dick’s a few times a year to purchase items. Tonight in a last minute effort to get some athletic shorts before vacation we stopped in around 8:30 PM (they close at 9 PM which we were aware of, and generally are aware that most things in the state of CT do).I needed to try on two pairs of shorts (by now it was 8:40). No one was to be found in the immediate area so I rang the bell at the changing room and in about 5 minutes I was greeted by an extremely annoyed associate who looked at me, opened the door and said “we do close in ten minutes you know”, extremely rude!Once we got to the register there were no less than 7 associates, the one that opened the door for me included, laughing with the store manager, leaning on the store displays and counters and generally doing nothing.The two stars are ONLY for the fact that the young gentlemen that rung us up was very nice and was, by all accounts, the only one actually working. No need for me to go back there to just get attitude. I can get these online just as easy. I’d caution their customer service that their attitude reflects directly on a persons desire to purchase in store vs. online.

Think i was interrupting convo..wasnt to happy to have to leave circle. Started pointing @ directions telling me to read instr. I did have my email. 11yr old gdaughter had to do for me. I had 2 diff bags. Eventually he went inside area where they had all the pick up bags to find. Unfortunately i cant see well w/o my glasses. He was very insistent i do myself though. So i know what im doing the next time w/o asking for help! Ok then! I retrieved my bags, thanked him for "all" his help! I did notice though the ESpfld store was much more organized! Their display made so much easier to see what they had! in the jr section they had all the jeans that were on sale right out in front. Mens graphic tees also right out where u could see all. Sweatshirts.. The items usually the younger teens like to wear were very accessible! As it was back to school shopping time! So i couldnt help myself in picking up a few more items for gkids! Was very happy w all the sales since i have 6gkids that i was buying school clothes for thruout the past wks!! Cant beat 70% off! Found very nice winter sweaters & shirts on the racks while in WSpfld store. Wish i would have come in earlier & had time to go thru all the racks! I did spent way more than i came in for though! & the lucky 11yr old who was w me has a whole new winter wardrobe!! Now im shopping online w my kohls rewards $160.00 free!! See what i can find in the sales today for youngest child as he received a promotion @ work & instead of polos he wants button down dress shirts!
