Jordan Schroth: I went in today to purchase a new set of irons. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The associate Bill that I dealt with was great, I knew what clubs I had already narrowed it down to(srixon zx7 mk2). However he took the time to make sure I had the shaft that worked for me, as well as show me a couple other clubs to further solidify my decision. This was an extremely easy transaction, as I am a standard length, lie and loft player. I will happily go back to do further business with them as I look to compliment these irons with some additions. Far better experience than what I had at another chain golf store in hartford, ct. Keep up the great work and thanks again!!

The transaction was done very oddly- they had me purchase a gift card that they then used at the store that had the correct size. The only receipt given to me was for the purchase of the gift card. They explained that they do not want the other store to have my credit card number, but it is OK for this store to have it, but not the other skecher store???. Waited the 4 weeks that I was told to wait and shoes never arrived. I called and then told me I had to come into the store to receive a refund. Drove all the way back, and the manager on duty could not issue the refund, she was only the evening manager, only daytime manager could do that. I was told they would call back after they confirmed the gift card had not been used. They never called back. I called and was told I had to return to the store AGAIN to get my refund. THREE TRIPS TO A STORE THAT IS OUT OF MY WAY TO GET MY MONEY BACK ON A PAIR OF SHOES THEY NEVER EVEN SHIPPED. Terrible customer service and very impractical store policy.

Kenzie Courtney: Veterans & military beware. This place used to offer military discounts & then all of a sudden stopped one day. I would shop there specifically because of the military discount. So when I came to the register & asked for it, the woman behind the counter was extremely rude. Had such an unpleasant demeanor & just acted like she didn’t care. When I asked why they didn’t offer it anymore she said “it depends on which manager is working that day”… WHAT?? That doesn’t even make any sense to me at all. They should either stand by the discount or just get rid of it fully, it shouldn’t come down to “who’s working that day”. Ridiculous & will never shop at this dick’s again.

It was a little weird as usually you only see this kind of customer service down South. Don’t get me wrong I completely understand why everybody walks by says hi and approaches due to all the bad that is going on with retail theft at the big box stores all the way down to the mom-and-pop stores that are getting run out of business. But I will tell you what for the good of it to be greeted and treated so nicely keep it up don’t ever stop! Now we end our shopping experience with Sarah. Wow my wife and I are truly impressed with Sarah. She deserves a raise and or paid time off. Thank you Sarah!

I only have a need to go to Dick’s a few times a year to purchase items. Tonight in a last minute effort to get some athletic shorts before vacation we stopped in around 8:30 PM (they close at 9 PM which we were aware of, and generally are aware that most things in the state of CT do).I needed to try on two pairs of shorts (by now it was 8:40). No one was to be found in the immediate area so I rang the bell at the changing room and in about 5 minutes I was greeted by an extremely annoyed associate who looked at me, opened the door and said “we do close in ten minutes you know”, extremely rude!Once we got to the register there were no less than 7 associates, the one that opened the door for me included, laughing with the store manager, leaning on the store displays and counters and generally doing nothing.The two stars are ONLY for the fact that the young gentlemen that rung us up was very nice and was, by all accounts, the only one actually working. No need for me to go back there to just get attitude. I can get these online just as easy. I’d caution their customer service that their attitude reflects directly on a persons desire to purchase in store vs. online.

MonaLisa Leung Beckford: I'm leaving this review because my mom had a terrible experience here two weeks ago. This happened in the evening of Saturday December 10th, 2022. She has come here many times to purchase shoes. But on this day, she was confronted by a mall guard who claimed that the store associates felt uncomfortable with her trying shoes there and asked her to leave. She was so shocked and embarrassed because she didn't do anything wrong. She was only trying on shoes there. And you are supposed to be able to try on shoes at a shoe store! My mom is an nurse at Baystate Hospital. She works very hard saving lives everyday, and on her off day from work she was treated badly at the shoes store. Sorry but this is ridiculous.

Athena spoon: This store is very well organized and has nice perfume clothes and shoes for cheap prices, easily a 5 star store
Marlene Prosser: The store is not crowded, easy in, easy out.
Ryan A: The store had a decent selection of items. I had picked out a few kitchen items, unfortunately I never purchased them. I waited in line for 10 minutes and with 6-7 people still in front of me I decided I was not going to wait any longer and put the items down and left. I would suggest having more people working the checkout.

JoJo Young: They've reorganized the store and moved things around a bit. I still don't like how empty the shelves are. Trying to find king sized sheet sets is impossible here! Queen sizes seem to be plentiful!Good selection of practical health and beauty products. Lately their selection of deodorants (both American and European) have increased as have their oral hygiene options.Not really the place to find coats and suits, like you used to years ago.Important to note... they still do lay-away all year round here. Most stores got rid of that years ago. And I believe you have 60 days to pay it off.

Ellen Ginsberg: Went in for scrubs as I do all the time ..No stock. Not little just no stock basically above small. Only 4 lg 0 xl in pants and tops pants jumped to 3x. Disappointed my go to favorite spot for scrubs 😕. Also food section dwindled and I loved searching for amazing stuff there.
