DICK'S Sporting Goods: what do users think?
AC PEREZ: 👍👍👍
Sam Jones: Good selection of Sneakers but the guy working in the section literally went and helped someone who just arrived as I'd been waiting for like 5 minutes for him to get out of the back. Waited another 10 minutes as he sat and helped her.
Jonathan Ramos: My favorite store
Carlos Molina: Love the selection of clothes they got, also good prices and customer service.
Katie Burke: I was looking for a particular ski helmet at this location, and Miranda went out of her way to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!!
Alfredo Proietti: Management was friendly...cashier's we're not so much too bad I spent some good cash I thought I'd get a smile
Johanna Guillen: Es la 1ra vez que los visito y me sorprendió la organización y limpieza en todas las áreas de la tienda.
holly Bruso: They have a great selection of all things sports related
Steve Space: Not much of a selection in soccer cleats and too pricy.
Lucas Lamonds: Clean and well stocked
Shell D: Hi. I shopped at the West Springfield store. Lindsey helped me. I was looking for a specific hiking boot. She listened, looked with me and we found them in no time. She chatted with me as she walked to the counter for me to ring out. She was super helpful and it was a quick and pleasant shopping experience. Oh, and they welcome you to bring your pet in shopping with you! And I love my new Merrill hiking boots. Thanks Lindsey!
Antonio Colon Jr.: I just came across a great deal. This store is like a second home. It’s the only place I shop for all of my sporting needs.
Amneris A: Love coming here for fishing gear.
Vancent Vondoom: Very honest, friendly, and helpful employees. Will definitely be coming back
Paul Goodchild Ph.D., CPA: This store is one of the bigger ones I've been in and it's always in great shape. It has a huge golf dept, bicycles, shoes, camping, and every sports apparel needed. The employees are always helpful and they are generally available. There are plenty of parking spots and the mall is a pain to get into, but easy to get out of.
Ray Cauley: Found what we were looking for at a good price. Product was 10 feet high on the wall no one to be found at least 10 customers shopping a woman was looking for a gift for her grandson no help to be found. I bought$70. Plus. 7 cashiers working. They were eager to take our money but no service people to help
Emelie Alvarez (Hey tootz): Great selection of gear for all your sporting needs..not to many sales..but overall its a great place for your sports, camping, fishing, fitness needs
Matt Reardon: Was not good. Went for baseball cleats oh we don't have 10.5 in any models. Why bother going to store. Should have ordered on line 2weeks ago
Edward Guzik: I was helping someone buy a set of golf clubs... One male member was great... However, at checkout, they were arguing as who was going to check us out...why does this happen? Finally, a girl who was not assigned to the register dropped everything and came over to check us out as she saw the disappointment on my face... A set of golf clubs and accessories is not a small purchase... and people wonder why stores are closing down. There is something to be said for in person shopping... Don't help it go away.
Julio Feliciano: Pretty good inventory in all sports and outdoors merchandise. Staff was professional and ready available.
Kale Lebowski: Probably only good store around this area

Plato's Closet West Springfield: what do users think?
Kelsey: Initially I had a terrible experience with one of the employees and was not going to shop at the West Springfield Plato's again. However, the owner, Larry, was quick to make things right and was understanding and accommodating. He assured me things would be taken care of. The manager, Rachel, was also understanding. If it were not for his great customer service, I would have not been going into the store again and would have advised others to do the same.
Kay Rivera: Trying to sell cloths to them is a huge waste of time
Mel P: Brought in 3 reusable bags (grocery size) of clothing. Was told they can only take one bag from customers. Someone had a giant ikea bag and that was deemed acceptable. Makes no sense whatsoever…
May Harris: The girls were rude I didn’t get any help but they had nice clothes.
K Sull: Nice store with a good selection! The owner Larry is a great person & is always willing to listen to questions or concerns.
maribel ortiz: i wish they take plus size cloth and I brought stuff with tickets and they didn’t buy it.
Elizabeth Anne: This place is a waste of time and effort. I brought in practically brand new name brand stuff (Michael kors, Nike, puma) and they took not one item. This happens all the time. Plus the girls that work here always look at me in a way that makes me feel they are judging meGreat way to treat ppl. Left feeling like a huge bum LOLI won't bother with this place ever again. I'd rather donate to a more worthy place/cause
Jordyn Reil: Very disappointed with the experience tonight :( we were very excited to go in and look around as we haven’t been in a while and showed up around 6:45 (they close at 8 so plenty of time) and greeted the employees with a happy hello and weren’t given anything in response. The girls working seemed to be very annoyed at anyone coming in including ourselves. They were doing what seemed to be closing procedures such as putting clothes away and paper work and when we would ask questions they would just seem very annoyed and give very short answers. As we were leaving one of the girls checking us out made a very snarky comment to us which caught us off guard and the whole time we just felt very un welcomed and like they wanted us to leave. I truly love Plato’s closet and am hopeful I can go back to a better experience with different employees
Carlos Gonzales: This place is absolutely awesome from staff to customer service. The staff there are really good at their job amd are upfront about everything and explain everything to you. Never have I had a bad experience here, ever. Thank you guys!
mike: I do not recommend the manager is extremely rude and unprofessional
Fuzzy Friends Rescue Volunteer: The employees were all very nice, college age kids who were very polite. The store wasn’t busy and they were quick to assist me which I appreciate. To give you an idea: I brought in a pile of in season clothing, shoes & accessories (they accepted exactly 1/2) and the retail price I paid for each item was around $45/each taking an average. All were brand new unworn with the tags still attached. I received $3.80 for each item accepted. Mostly brand new unworn shoes & some Pink brand & Chinese Laundry stuff my daughter never wore that still had the tags. I was surprised to see how old the stuff was on the racks, spotted some Y2K memories. I almost picked out a vintage bucket bag. The selection is nice. You’ll want to bring your items in using a sturdy reusable bin as a rule here. We used a rather large cardboard box. The location is in the worst section of town and traffic was a bear. I think if I resell our old clothing on Poshmark or eBay I’d probably get a lot more for these. I was surprised that never worn shoes that I paid $65 for only brought under $5 but I guess this is the business model. I probably won’t go through traffic again for such little return but I suppose it’s easier than listing on eBay hoping someone else would want to buy my daughter’s new never worn stuff lol. The store has a pretty large inventory from what I can tell. Things are organized by size and type. The location is also pretty clean itself. If you or if you have a teen child who likes to buy clothes then they sit in her closet for a year with tags still on them, this may be helpful for you to unload the stuff your children just refuse to wear. They seem very cautious about what they accept; not even brand new boots made the cut, because they had some dust so you can be assured the stuff for sale in the store is extremely clean. So for a mom this is helpful, it’s just quite a mess in traffic to get there.
Andrea Pelletier: Honestly it's always awful. Went back today to try again and brought some clothes with me to sell. Was given 14 dollars for 3 pairs of pants and 2 shirts. When asked why it was so little after realizing it was more items than I thought, neither of the two associates could give me an answer on how the priced are set. Both started throwing out percentages which still wouldn't add up to not even 3 dollars per item. One pair of the pants alone will sell for more than that. Wasn't worth the gas money or my time and energy. Wish I had just taken my clothes back.
Allison R: Horrible selection of clothes. very outdated and not stylish. The few pieces I found had stains on them. Also the line was very line and only 1 of the 4-5 employees was on the register.
d-jemme: My daughter is now in adult clothes and we consistently find *amazing* things here at unbelievable prices for her, all of it in great condition and completely on-trend. I'm a mom floating it all on my own and she grows overnight, and is at an age now where personal style and appearance have started to become really important. As a former owner of a clothing consignment shop, I know how hard it is to keep a balance with what comes in and what's already in stock (and explain that to people). It's *never* easy and the piles never cease. Staff is always kind and helpful, though, even when it's crazy busy, and the racks are stuffed. I've been in several times in the past few weeks and there's always new stuff out every few days, too. This place is a godsend.
Butter Glorious: Every time I come here it’s a bad experience. The customer service is always rude & insensitive to others taste in style. This store is always filled with inexperienced young women that don’t care about the customers feelings or how they speak to you. They barely even wanted to take me at the register, they kept walking past me. Nor do they ever take my clothes here and the styles are very up to date. I don’t recommend unless you want to waste gas money and to be embarrassed by young women. I’ve come here about 10 times and each time the experience has been bad. This is an honest review, I try to give certain business a chance with time but their business just doesn’t grow or change and lacks respect. Please hire older more considerate women/ men to work here as well as more fashionable looks inside. Sorry but not sorry. This is my 10th bad experience I don’t even care if my style isn’t appreciated but to be embarrassed I will NOT take. Along with other times they didn’t take my clothes due to them being “out of style” now this time they have an “odor” but the girl couldn’t even tell me what they smelled like. The girl also asked me if I wanted to smell them myself. Which made me uncomfortable since that’s clearly rude and I did wash the clothes. Overall I’m so upset with this experience here.
Glizelia Ribot: I brought a lot of brand name clothes, some never worn and some worn only once and they didn't except it because it was too formal... same with heels and purses
S. Ronni: I had decided to drop some items off here after a bad experience at a different Plato’s. The overall environment was so much nicer, the girls working we’re all very kind & full of energy, considering it was a Saturday and I know they get busy I was very pleasantly surprised at how efficient they worked! Overall great experience and I can’t wait to come back to do some shopping & sell some more items! 😀
Julie Comtois: NY friends and I just lovee platoes
Kellie Moro: Dirty and not worth the 40 minute drive. Didn't take the most updated clothes but took things old and out of style.
Vivian MGay: This store is a real gem in our area. Great products and service. The family that owns the store is active in the community. They support our local baseball league and provide gift cards for many fund raising events around town. As someone that has a family member that works for them, I know how they go above and beyond caring for employees. This is NOT a paid review, but someone that has deep respect for this family and is coming to their defense with a disgruntle employee and her friends. We love Plato's Closet West Springfield!
Shiloh Godbolt: Good people!, great place!
