Michael Leahan: I have been buying firewood for the past 10 years for our wood stove. This is the first time I bought it from Arbor Tech and I am absolutely thrilled!Normally, I get wood from vendors on Craigslist. I’ve had many problems with being shorted, too many pieces cut too short or too long, wood cut all the same thickness, excessive amounts of debris, wood not seasoned as much as I was told and most of the wood being round (from branches). The delivery I just received from Arbor Tech was none of that.The driver was friendly, courteous and professional. I could tell as soon as it was hitting our driveway that it was good quality and well-seasoned. As I stacked it, I continued to be impressed with the beautifully cut hardwoods, cut from the trunk not branches. There was a variety of thicknesses and the perfect amount of small pieces for kindling, too. It was also a generous amount of wood!I know this wood will make many warm and cozy fires this winter. I will never again by my firewood from craigslist sellers and will be a long time customer of Arbor Tech. Highly recommended!

Steven Allen: Dave and his crew did a good job removing the tree and stump. I also contracted with him to regrade the area and plant grass. This is where he fell short. He promised to come back at the end of September or early October to do the work. I had to call him and he apologized and said he'd do it in early November. When he did come and spread the loam, it was too late in the season. He said he'd come back in the summer. Here's where I made my mistake, I paid him the balance of the proposal. I called Dave in April and he said he'd pick up the seed and come out. Well April became May, May became June, and now we're at the end of July, he hadn't showed up, and has failed to return at least 3 telephone calls. Needless to say I've spread new grass. I simply want to be replaced half of the quote he gave to do that work. Yes he's been busy and I gave him leeway to do my work, but this has gone on way too long. I would appreciate an amicable resolution Dave.Dave,If you don't do landscaping, then you should have told me that when we discussed the tree removal. At that time I was dealing with prostate cancer and not able to do it. Had I known that I would have made other arrangements to do the landscaping. I didn't hire anyone to seed my yard, I did that myself since I'm feeling better. I called you 4 times since April, you only responded to the first. I spread 2 5 pound bags of Scott's starter seed on 2 separate occasions which cost me $42.00 from Rocky's. I usually purchase my seed at Browns, and that costs me $95.00 for a 25 pound bag on sale. Cherry Williams: We can not say enough about how wonderful Western Mass Tree Care was to work with. We had a gigantic 100+year old maple in our backyard that was old, rotting, and apparently hollow through the core. This tree was so massive, if it had fallen down it would have taken out half our house. Not to mention, we have a fence around our property, right next to this massive tree, making this project an extra special pain for whomever took it on.Western mass Tree Care came out and gave us a great estimate, so we were immediately impressed and pleased with their professionalism and care for our worries. On the day of taking the massive tree down, the team worked tirelessly through the rain to bring down massive limb after massive limb, chipping away at the tree to get to the base. Each time they ensured no damage was done to our fence or lawn. How they did that, I’m still amazed!!The base of the tree was so rotted and hollow, they were able to have one of their team members crawl into the tree!! Unfortunately, the other services like stump grinding took weeks longer to get done than desired and ultimately never was finished. When we tried to cancel the extra services, take care of things ourselves, and get a partial refund the response from was to refuse and later claim I had not asked for a refund.This a still reasonably priced all around for tree removal - but ad-on services may not be as advisable to contract with them.ETA on 5/27 *They replied to this message saying the work was done on 5/21. It was not. It is the 27th now, and they still haven't finished the work. They also claimed I did not request a refund, which I did in writing on 5/25. I only wrote a review after being denied a refund. Also, at no point did the business inform me that they were struggling to purchase equipment. Jenny jacks: This was the 2nd time we used titan tree for trimming and removing large branches overhanging our property. Upon their arrival the arborist reviewed with me the work to be performed. The entire crew was friendly, professional, and did a great job of cleaning up when the work was completed. I would highly recommended any tree service.

Rosemary Rosado: If I can give them zero stars I would but sadly that isn’t an option. Gave me a quote for a to take down my tree. After starting the job he then told me he couldn’t take down the tree but that he will take $75 from the original price. I of course was not present when he spoke to my husband. I came home just to find out that he only took down SOME branches and not even half of the tree. He basically scammed me and took my money. He scammed my husband and I. He seems to be nice but he is definitely money hungry. My husband of course didn’t know and cut him a check before I had the chance to get home from work. Oh and he didn’t even give me a receipt or contract for this job. Next year I’ll have to hire someone else to take down the tree entirely, since the job wasn’t down correctly. Scam artist! Oh and Angel damaged my neighbors garage, said he will come back to fix it. And he hasn’t, told my husband to give my neighbor his phone so that my neighbor can contact him. LeighAnne Decoteau: We were so happy to get a referral to Affordable Tree Care. They came by right away for a quote and then scheduled our tree work for within 2 weeks. However, they double booked so never showed up on day 1 - we had to call them as they didn't even let us know they weren't coming. Rescheduled for day 2 only to be informed there was an issue with their truck (again after we called them) and that they'd call us within an hour... three hours later we called them again. They came to reassess but not to do the work and told us they couldn't actually do all the work we'd first been quoted. Told us they thought they could fit us in today and would call us with a date if they COULDN'T do today. No call and no show. Supposedly they want to do next week, but we're not expecting them to show. Our pool install and house projects have all had to be postponed due to their scheduling mishaps. We also had made arrangements for work and dogs so someone would be available each time - not professional at all. We had 2 friends planning to use them, but they have since decided to go elsewhere. I do NOT recommend this company.My response to the owner's retort: first calling me a liar by saying "it was not true" continues to show your lack of professionalism. When you came to the home, we did absolutely understand what had happened. However, when you were here, you said "what is today, Wednesday? I think I can fit you in day after. I will check when I get back to the office and if I can't come I will call you to schedule for next week." My response was "As long as it's this week it works because we have other projects and vacation lined up." I would NOT have agreed to having you come to work the following week [THIS week], since I am away on vacation!! Since there was no call, we were expecting our work to be done on Thursday- THAT is the upsetting part: THREE different appointments and your business never came for any of them. Second - this is the first we are hearing about the hot weather being an issue. We knew about the truck and we knew jobs had been rescheduled due to the rain. Adding more excuses after my review doesn't make you seem any more reputable. Third, yes you came to our home, but AFTER we called the office multiple times. Finally, what I have yet to hear is how do you intend to remedy this situation and are you actually coming to do the work?! You saw our yard and know that we will need additional tree work in the future - as you know friends of ours and now our newest neighbors were also inquiring about your services. We'd like to be able to recommend you, but please give us a reason to do so. Thank you.

Frank Ferreira: Called for an estimate to have a large pine trimmed and dead branches removes from a shade tree. I was told by another service that the tree had a root fungus and had to come down. When he came he said it didn’t look like a fungus but a girdling root but would cut away the dead wood. Gave me a quote of almost half of the other service. When he came to do the work, he dug all around the tree and found the root that was strangling the tree. Cut and chiseled the bad root and did an excellent job on the trimming and asked for no extra money!!! Neat, courteous and professional. I will hire no one else.

They returned our initial call quickly and called right away when there were two weather delays. They also showed up right on time to make an estimate and on each day of work. Dead branches, bush roots and metal fence posts removed. The ground scraped to remove invasive plants then smoothed out. They worked quickly and efficiently.
