Danny Colon: I went to this location at 10 am on a Tuesday and the store was closed. It was not a holiday. I waited ten minutes to give them some time to open but it did not look like anyone was there. Lights were completely off and 10 am is already a late time to be opening. It’s annoying to drive to place to find them closed during their hours of operation. I ended up going to the vitamin shop in Holyoke instead . . . They were open. Highly recommend them over GNC now.

Matt Werleman (Matty Fate): Used to be a member for years and got along great with the staff as long as I spent hundreds of dollars. I ended my membership due to career changes etc and I went with a more natural approach. I only needed one supplement that I couldn't get anywhere else and I was talked down to by the store manager after her associate tried to upsell three times with no being my response all three times. The associate asked if I was a member and the store manager rudely interrupted stating, "No he's not a member anymore." This put a very sour taste in my mouth and I haven't shopped with GNC since. Lots of locations are closing and it's not due to lack of good products but; poor management and poor attitudes.This is all too unfortunate because I love one of their products which I wont list because I don't want them getting any revenue from this comment.

The Illusive Man: Has everything you could ask for in terms of weight and muscle building. The store is very well kept. An the although there was only one employee, I was attended to very promptly and was comforted by how much they knew. I was able to get good advice on what products would be best to help me reach of my weight goals.

Sasha Davila: I love this place for the simple fact that the employees here know the products and what's best for you, I went to the holyoke Mall one and the employees don't know crappie, but this GNC on Riverdale amazing me and my husband were amazed with the customer service, we stayed for half hour just receiving very helpful info from one of the employees very passionate about other people's health and well-being. His name is Phil! Kudos to him! Good job!

John Hartin: Their home grown hemp really makes a difference. Spartan has the best CBD products I have tried. The salves work wonders for pain and inflammation - they have worked great for tendinitis, and muscle knots in my back.

Carrie Monroe: I purchased the 500 mg Skin and Muscle Salve. My husband used it on a sore muscle and the pain was gone in less than five minutes. Then the other night I pinched my finger in a drawer and at bedtime it was throbbing with pain. I put the salve on it and the pain stopped almost immediately! I highly recommend this product!! And I also plan to purchase the CBD oil because a friend uses it to help him sleep :)

Maria Santos: I feel the need to share my vitamin shoppe experience with other potential buyers. I have visited the Holyoke location a couple times within the past few weeks and during both visits I felt uncomfortable. The tall, slender man, Marty, who I believe is a supervisor was very rude and condescending. He was very pushy and could not take no for an answer. He was basically forcing me to sign up for a delivery program when I never tried the product! He became visibly agitated and raised his voice when I told him I don't want to participate in the program at the time. I felt very uncomfortable and even his employees had to excuse his behavior. I love the products at this store but am very unlikely to return. Hope management takes action in firing this man.

Kayleigh Fisher: Honestly I really like the Vitamin Shoppe because it's convenient, has a great selection of products and brands, and for the *most* part great staff. But I would advise the male employees not to call their female customers "honey". Its demeaning and disrespectful and doesn't come off as kind or sweet in any way.

Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the best part is you won't be bombarded with endless sales pitches upon arrival unlike the other health store. The stores body tech supplement line is very cheap and high quality definitely worth considering. I am certainly a life long customer.

However, the new guy (owner/manager Miklos) clearly doesn't exemplify the meaning of having a "Better Life". While in the store, I heard him yelling at a customer a couple of aisles over. They always offer great help and information how to better your health.Of course I am a woman of faith and believe in prayer but also believe in eating healthy and natural medicine . I want to thank the ladies there that have been very helpful . I have to say during COVID we almost lost my husband father due to lung failure . He was given three days to live . But I thank God for all the prayers from the church and also the ladies that were helpful when I went there to buy him some natural medicine /vitamins & teas. My father in law today is alive and no longer on a machine . And doctors cannot explained it because his lungs were not functioning . Faith moves mountains and also eating healthy . I also want to share I had an ulcer in my stomach and gastritis which is very painful. Of course i prayed and also had the ladies at the church pray for me , but I also went to this little store and was advised of what to take in which I did . I had to return within 4 months back to the hospital in Westfield for more test. I have to say when I return the doctor told me , everything had come back negative . He said keep up the good work whatever you doing is working .Thank you for your help and great advise .. truly means a lot .. God bless you 🙏

Sara Victor: I suffer from migraines and I went in to Better Life Whole Foods in shear desperation. I had looked up some natural relief for my migraines online and went down there to look more into these natural remedies, and possibly purchase. The worker I came across was very kind, very compassionate and extraordinarily helpful. She help me find the product I was looking for and then even recommended a product that had helped a family member of hers. Her knowledge and recommendation was more helpful to me, then anything my doctors office was able to do for me. And even told me to try one of the products and if it didn’t work then she would take it back for a full refund.l, but of course it did work lol. Very happy with the customer service and products there.
