samantha lachance: My children have been practicing piano here for about 2 years now. We are very satisfied with the lessons here. They are consistently making progress and building their skill levels, along with a liking to practice and play. Would definitely recommend to others.
daniel leske: I learned a lot on the piano She is amazing And yes I will return and continue with my lessons
Mathew Wilson: Great place for music lessons - they have a great staff and provide a relaxed learning environment. They were also kind enough to work out a special arrangement for me as I only stay in the area during the summertime.

Celia's Voice Studio: what do users think?
Lukas O`Donnell: Very nice and easy to open up!
Caroline Scherpa: Celia is wonderful! I finally decided to take signing lessons for myself, to improve and enjoy singing even more. She is very easy to work with and creates a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Eric Lipkin: Celia is a fantastic voice teacher! I took singing lessons from her for 5 months and saw a big change. She really cares about helping you improve. She also organized cafe nights where you can perform with a backing band and get real experience in front of an audience if you want. I don’t know of any other voice teacher that does that. Give her a try.
Jordana Starr: I'm a total newbie to singing, and working with Celia has been lovely! She is very patient and hones in on how to fix the problems I encounter in my voice. I am looking forward to our future lessons together and seeing my voice improve!
Sylvia Lapinski: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI wrote a review 3 years ago, and it's still true today!!! The only change is now my lessons are on Zoom......and guess what? The lessons are just as good! We work maybe harder online, but we have just as much fun. The best part is that Celia is always finding new ways to help me achieve my sound.
Jim Gardner: I’ve known Celia for at least 25 years, mostly as a performer, but I’ve just had my first session with her as a vocal coach and it went so well. I had an injury that led to 8 years of physical difficulty in my upper body and constriction to my neck and throat. From this, I lost access to the high range of my singing voice and lacked the ability to retain my breath for held notes in my lower range. So there I was, in hopes of gaining a little of my voice back and over an hour, Celia made me understand what was causing me issues with my vocal cords. She put me through vocal exercises and while doing them, pointed out the difference between what I had been experiencing and then doing an exercise to correct that issue, which was very enlightening. At then end of the hour, I felt a clearness and openness to my chest/lungs that I hadn’t felt in a long time. This is just a first step towards having the singing voice that I once had, allowing me to sing comfortably and be creative. I highly recommend Celia’s Voice Studio to assist people in finding their voice, regaining their voice or fine-tuning a voice for performance, recording and enjoyment. Thank you Celia!
Norbert Belliveau: I have worked with Celia’s studio on and off for over ten years. Celia’s Voice Studio is a five star experience where, given her sense of compassion and understanding paired with her teaching skills, inspires and makes you want to be a better performer and musician. She is great at identifying strengths and supporting further development of skills. I highly recommend her!
Leah Webb-Halpern: I’m really enjoying my lessons with Celia. I’ve always loved singing, but not had any training - at least since 7th grade choir! I didn’t really know what could be improved, but the description of her approach on her website was so logical and encouraging that I was hopeful. Celia immediately identified the places I knew my voice broke & helped me understand why - what was going on with the vocal chords - and has been working with my voice, adjusting lesson by lesson, with techniques that are working, and also fun. I have very little experience singing in front of people, but Celia put me at ease; there’s lots of laughing during lessons. She’s fun to sing with - she looks up songs I like & can accompany on the piano & guide my voice easily, even songs she’s not familiar with. Also - I have a voice box/larynx injury & she has training that has enabled her to address that directly with techniques that are actually therapeutic. Highly recommend!
Burchie Green: Celia is amazing! I only wish I started studying with her years ago! She's totally improved my voice and is fun to work with.
Guy Lorbert: An incredible voice teacher and musician! If you've ever wanted to learn how to sing, improve your current skills or have opportunities to regularly perform with a live band, Celia is the teacher for you.
Hayley Bartley: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueI’ve had three lessons with Celia so far and I have nothing but good things to say! She is sweet and very knowledgeable. She was quick to pinpoint what I needed to work on and is helping me through it.
James Smith: Celia is wicked good at what she does. She teaches technique. She troubleshoots. She keeps you on your toes. She inspires and encourages and by the end of the lesson you will realize you’ve worked harder than you expected, and made some great strides.Voice teacher doesn’t quite cover all that she does. She’ll help you with timing if you need that.If you look at a guitar twice she might put it in your hands and teach you some basics.Same with a piano. If you’re writing songs, she can deliver some really, really good suggestions, and work it with you til that song tells the story just as you hear it in your head.Same thing if you are recording or preparing for a live show. And you WILL have the opportunity to do live shows with a great band.Celia builds community. You will have plenty of opportunities to meet fellow students, and you will probably make some friends for life.If you find a baby bird that fell out the nest, bring it in.Celia will teach it to fly.
Damia Cavallari: I sang in high school and college but always in ways that didn’t feel totally authentic to who I was. Working with Celia has allowed me to look for and sometimes find the soul of my voice. She is fun and encouraging and has interesting ways to break through vocally. I highly recommend Celia if you want to practice music and sing from your heart.
Patrick Murphy: If you're like I was and always curious about whether or not you could learn to sing and are ready to give it a shot, you will not regret going to Celia. My voice used to cause house pets to flee and small children to cry, now it isn't half bad (and getting better). All thanks to Celia's help. Celia is the bomb dot com.
Lucy Modahl: I’ve been taking lessons with Celia for a few months now - I love it! I always wanted to sing but never thought I could. I’m learning to use my voice correctly, building my confidence, and having a ton of fun. The lessons fly by, and always feel really productive. I highly recommend!
Magda Oiry: Celia is great, plus you learn while having fun!
Beatrice Hutchins: Celia Miller has changed my life. Two summers ago I decided to take voice lessons from Celia on a whim--before that I had never sung in public. With carefully crafted exercises and lots of patience, Celia helped me to find and develop my voice. Her seasonal singers' showcase cafes and concerts motivated me to improve my technique and get beyond my nervousness about performing. Singing for the first time with a real band was an exhilarating experience!! Over the course of a year I went from being super self-conscious about my voice to LOVING to sing for an audience. This summer, when I started writing my own songs for piano and voice, Celia continued to be an outstanding teacher for me-- teaching me about chords and basic music theory, suggesting books and giving me tips on technique and the conventions of songwriting. Singing and music have become driving passions in my life, and I would never have discovered how much I love them without Celia. She has been so supportive, attentive, kind and encouraging, all while pushing me forward and giving me constructive criticism in ways that help me improve. I couldn't really recommend Celia any more highly as a voice and music teacher!
Paul Kaufman: I went in scared as hell to sing in front of someone. Celia was understanding, supportive, and she made it fun right from the start. She recognized qualities of my voice that I had not thought were there and helped me develop them in ways that have continued to support that growth. The lessons are fun and amazing. I feel so well-supported as I continue to explore and discover what I can do with my voice, and I'm gaining confidence a lot! Do it!! She's great!!
Jim Dunn: Celia is a versatile, creative, and compassionate teacher who has worked with my daughter for more than four years. She has a broad range of experience and expertise in both the music world and pedagogy. Celia respects and guides her students goals and aspirations. The results of her teaching are both admirable and effective. I have myself been Her student, and I would recommend no music and voice teacher as her equal.
Kim Hoff: I'm a student of Celia's - I've been working with her for over a year; and I can't recommend her highly enough! Celia is a wonderful teacher who takes the time to know and understand her students, works with us as individuals, and prepares us for whatever our singing goals may be. If you take lessons with Celia, you will surely learn a lot, grow your voice by leaps and bounds, and have fun while doing it!
