Typrowicz Painting & Wallpaper: what do users think?
Brenda Wishart: My sister referred James and Typrowicz Painting to us. We started just needing our kitchen cabinets and a couple rooms painted, but after we saw the incredible quality of their work, we quickly added other rooms, trim, and the garage to the list. The most important piece of the project was painting the kitchen cabinets white. The quality is phenomenal and far exceeded our expectations! No drips. No paint build up. The cabinets look brand new. The entire kitchen has been transformed. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the work.A big shout out to James, Al & Jace who did a fantastic job! Each of them was great to work with - friendly, reliable and super conscientious about their work. We would highly recommend Typrowicz Painting for any painting job.Services:Door painting,Interior painting,Cabinet painting
Amber Bord: Positive:Quality,Responsiveness,ValueJamie is great! He's the first person we think of when we need painting/drywall work done! So nice, great work, speedy service! Highly recommend!
Steve Bohn: I met James Typrowicz during a real estate deal as my wife and I just relocated from the West Coast to Suffield CT. We had just put an offer in on a 2600 sq./ft. house and the home inspection realized there were issues with most of the ceilings on the first floor. The main issue with the ceilings were not structural but more a visual issue, my wife and I decided to address this prior to moving in.The sheetrock on the ceiling did not have enough mud on the tape. This left the tape separating from the sheetrock. Add to that James’ recommendation that we remove the acoustic material from all the ceilings and sand them smooth before painting. We also had the same issue in the garage. While in California I had many contacts with contractors covering many residential trades, but once we relocated I had none. This was where James and his crew came into play. We had been on the road in our RV for nearly a month, then living with relatives as we shopped for a new home, we were ready to move into our new home and be reunited with our belongings ASAP.We were referred to James by the seller’s real estate agent, this in itself did not instill our confidence in him since we figured the seller would do most anything to keep the sale moving forward. When we first met James he told us he would not be able to get to our project for at least two weeks, then it would take 1-1/2 weeks to complete. At this point were looking at being more money in the hole and being a month behind schedule. To get a better idea about where James was coming from I had a long conversation with him and learned the following.James is a local guy who grew up in Southwick MA, and now resides close by in Feeding Hills MA. He and his crew of three long-time employees cover a large geographical area for his clients taking care of painting, wallpaper, and sheetrock needs. Over the last 25 years James has seen pretty much everything from the best quality work to the worst quality work others have done. That and a lot of long hours led him to opening his own business in 2000. Since then he has worked hard to maintain the highest standards his clients expect. No sooner had we closed escrow and we got a call from James informing us that he had finished all the other jobs he and his guys had been working on and they were ready to jump on our project and hit it hard. We were still concerned about the timeframe but James seemed to me to be a man of his word so I put my faith in him doing what he said he would do. To complicate matters, they started the job on the Monday the week before Christmas. To our surprise they completely finished the job a mere five days later on the Saturday before Christmas.Upon final inspection all the tape joints were now hidden, the ceilings were quite flat and smooth, and the cut-ins where the paint from the walls met the ceilings were as straight as could be. Not only were we very happy with the quality of the work (just as James had promised us) we could not believe how clean his guys left the house when they were through. Now mind you, these guys sanded the ceilings in every room on the first floor of the house, if you have ever had this kind of work done in your home you know just how of a mess this can make with fine dust finding its way into every nook and cranny imaginable. Not only did James and his crew delivery everything he said they would, they started on time and finished far sooner than expected, all with no additional upcharges! Life is good. We have a couple of things that need painting on the outside of the house and you can bet your last dollar come spring James is going to be one of the first people we call.I know this review sounds too good to be true but fact is fact and based on the service we received from James the least I could do let others know what a great experience we had with him and his top-notch company. I don’t write that many reviews but when I do they are for people and companies that I really believe in, James Typrowicz is one of those people.
