After meeting them initially at our engagement shoot, we knew immediately that hiring them was the right choice.Originally, my fiancé felt a bit nervous about the production that professional photos can be- it can feel awkward to be instructed to pose in certain ways or try to fake a smile for the camera. This concern was quickly alleviated after the first few minutes with Krista and Andrew. They are warm, kind, and authentic people, and they normalized how uncomfortable posing for photos can feel at first. It is a real benefit to have a couple that loves each other behind the camera because they worked together so well. Plus, they were able to model each pose for us so we were never unclear on what to do!Krista and Andrew knocked it out of the park on our wedding day. They remembered to capture photos that I had requested but totally forgot about on the day of! Because Andrew was able to go photograph the guys getting ready while Krista stayed with the ladies, we were able to get all of the photos we wanted without any added expenses (didn’t need to pay for an extra photographer or for extra hours of photo coverage). One moment that stood out to me was at the end of our “bridal portraits” session, while our guests were at cocktail hour. Krista and Andrew had just pulled out of the driveway when I sat down to put on a few bandaids (my shoes were giving me blisters). What happened next is a perfect representation of Krista’s devotion to capturing beautiful pictures AND her talent for identifying real moments. They turned the car around and pulled back into the driveway. Krista then hopped out and said “I just needed to come back for this. I couldn’t miss it!” It ended up being one of my favorite shots from the day.Our sneak peak photos were delivered to us within days, and the full gallery of our wedding photos was delivered shortly after. The turnaround time was remarkable, and reviewing all of the photos brought tears to everyone’s eyes. They are better than we could have ever imagined.I could share so many more moments and positive experiences that we had with Krista and Andrew. I will be forever grateful that we chose them to photograph our wedding!

After meeting with them, it was clear that we were going to use Krista Jean Photography! They explained everything from minor details to bringing up ideas we would have never thought of. Krista was even able to fit us in as we asked for her service last minute.From there we went out on our engagement session with them. Our original destination didn't allow dogs but Krista and Andrew found a spot right near there to do a session with our pups. Our dogs are our kids and Andrew was so great at helping with keeping the dogs cooperative and getting the perfect pictures. Krista did an awesome job at capturing every moment we could have asked for. Then once we went to our photo shoot destination, they made the experience fun and easy. Molly Coughlin: We first found Krista’s photos online and were drawn to how beautiful, romantic and light her photos were. When we first started looking for photographers, my thought was anyone can take a photo. When we saw Krista’s photos, that thought immediately went away!!! We chose Krista as our wedding photographer after talking to a few other photographers and her. Our first call with Krista was so easy and it felt like we were talking to an old friend we’d known forever. It was an easy choice! We met Krista and her husband, and second shooter, Andrew at our engagement shoot about a year before our wedding. They made us feel so at ease and made the day so fun. They also were totally on board with us bringing our dogs to get them in a few shots. Our photos came out beautifully and Krista made a dreary winter day look like a winter wonderland. We seriously were obsessed with how they came out. I did my share of research before reaching out for photographers for our wedding, and based on their online gallery they were my clear number one choice. I was shocked and relieved when Michele responded saying they happened to be free the day of our wedding (it was only a few months in advance).When I met with them at a local coffee shop, I was reassured that I made the correct choice. My wife and I were having a fairly casual backyard wedding, and I was nervous that it was too informal to even be hiring photographers, not even mentioning ones of this caliber. Both Andy and Michele were genuinely excited when I explained to them the plan and seemed almost more thrilled about it than I was! Based on the shots they showed me, I was convinced they were the best people for the job to capture the spirit of the evening - our only goal for our wedding is for the guests to have fun and we needed photographers that will capture the festive emotions.Come wedding day, they were incredibly accommodating and gave us great advice on the best/most efficient way to utilize their time. We pretty much didn't know they were there, and they asked for just the right amount of time for us to pose. Immediately afterwards my wife whispered to me "that was perfect".Now I've been going over all the pictures for about a week and marveling at the moments Andy and Michele captured.
