Zoo in Forest Park and Education Center: what do users think?
James Smith: Not enough animals, zoo is very small and overall its zoo their are animals they do sell food. If you live locally i guess its something to do but if your visiting the area theres other zoos.
Jenny Lau: One of my favorite small zoos! One of my favorite things about Forest Park Zoo is their signage, which explains their work in wildlife rescue and conversation and even gives you the backstory (and names!) on some of the animals that call the zoo home. It helps visitors engage and stay connected with the animals, which helps boost interests in wildlife conservation! You can purchase a feed cone at the entrance, and feed any of the hooved animals with the feed or sugar cone. Highly recommend meeting Max - a dromedary camel and an absolute gentle giant. The walking path has no diversions and is easy to follow. While visiting the zoo, we were able to chat with some of the keepers who were preparing to care for one of the baby camels at the zoo. They were very friendly and knowledgeable.Parking was a little confusing. I would recommend entering from Main Greeting Road ($3-5 parking) and following the signs for the zoo, traveling on North Greeting Road. If you're using a GPS, I would use the nearby F-Lot as your destination to find the right park entrance. There is some parking right in front of the zoo and usually plenty of parking in F-Lot.As for the bathroom, the only available facility for visitors is the park bathroom a few steps from the zoo entrance. It was clean and well maintained.
Joanne Koetsch: Our grandchildren have always loved going there .

Molly Webster: We love to visit zoos whenever we travel. I would categorize this as an animal park in lieu of a zoo, and the viewing of the animals was less than ideal with thick black chain link fences around all the pens. The enclosures were very small for the animals and didn’t seem to contain a lot of enrichment for the animals. We found it difficult to spot a number of animals through the thick fencing everywhere. The playground had stairs that were rusted through in places. I want to be fair, there were definite pros, such as the staff were so so nice and the game room was cute. It also had a beautiful covered area for hosting events. Our visit unfortunately was not improved by the black and white paper map we were provided at admission, or the low resolution online map from their website. It would be great if they would post some larger colored maps around the park (maybe we missed them?). We were unable to read the animal names or labels and got lost twice. Also found it to be quite treacherous for my older grandparents with what felt like frost heaves and lots of cobblestone and uneven ground or narrow paths so we ended up leaving early to go somewhere more accessible with them. I hate to leave poor reviews but we will not be going back, though this could be a very fun family afternoon destination for locals. Our kids are 18 mo and 3 and we brought an all terrain wagon that generally did pretty well.
Gotcha Now: I remember being 13 with my aunt and all the animals were extra happy that day... mini horse mounting bigger horse ... kangaroo lickin it's own area . Great memories
Ricky W: Enjoy coming here. A lot of changes and updates since my last visit. Lots of cool animals to see.
S mack: Zoo has been updated, a lot of new play areas for smaller kids . A few different playgrounds. Area has been picked up and redone nicely . Able to buy animal food when purchasing ticket.

Tanya: We have a zoo membership for this year. It’s been a great investment and pays for it self over the course of time. The woman at the ticket booth is the absolute sweetest and we love to say hi every visit. The zoo is always clean and the animals always seem to be well taken care of (although one of my kids would like to take them home) all around I’d say Lupa Zoo is always a great time and we’ll continue to come back for more.
default09: To be a zoo is really cheap and plus they got lots of animals
l ll: At first glance Lupa Zoo appears to be well maintained ( nice entrance, clean walkways, signs) I accompanied my child on a field trip to Lupa , we had the zoo to ourselves and I had a chance to see everything up close. Unfortunately, the enclosures were dirty and the reptile enclosures are breeding grounds for bacteria, many of the fences were rotting or broken. The children noticed several wasp nests in the pavilions. I also noticed that there was an enclosure in the rear that had baby goats and the grass was about 2ft high inside. First and only time visiting.** Please beware of the antique playground highly likely it's lead paint .
Yvette: Animals AnimalsGreat for little onesGreat walk for adults

John F. Kennedy Eternal Flame Memorial: what do users think?
Markus Engbarth: schlicht aber beeindruckend
Stuart Krantz: A small, yet nice tribute to President John F. Kennedy who was assassinated in Dallas TX in 1963. It has an Eternal Flame which is rusting at the top. Two plaques - one of which is “Ask Not…”. It’s in a field yet surrounded by trees.
