JPIC: Cool place nice inventory new / used and the indoor range is convenient. Definitely not saving money buying here ( most guns overpriced) but it is close to home and I enjoy the indoor range.

I think range prices are a bit steep but very convenient if you live close by. They have rentals for the range .....that alone can be worth the trip. Pretty good to deal with

Cathy Gallery: I love The Gun Parlor! The staff is very professional and quick to react. A customer had brought in a firearm he needed repair on. As he went to open the case, an employee asked him if it was loaded. It was. They quickly stopped him from removing the firearm and took it to the range to discharge. They were professional in how they handled the situation and told the young man that if something like that happened again to call them to remove the firearm from his vehicle for safety reasons. This did interrupt my sale but was 100% necessary. My sale continued after the (not an incident due to quick thinking by staff) issue and was finalized in just a few minutes. The guys there are friendly, informative and helpful. I am a returning customer and will continue to purchase from them. I always refer people to The Gun Parlor because of their exceptional service. As a side note: As a woman it is very important that you have a correct sized firearm. They helped me to choose and were very nice about how they presented all firearms they showed me. I didn't know much about guns but, I do now!

William Amundsen: Excellent 1911 smith. I brought Mike my Kimber with an Ed Brown match barrel and bushing which needed to be fitted. The bushing was too loose in the slide grooves so he replaced it with a Kart bushing and test-fired it. Turned the job around within one week. The gun is more accurate than it was before. Cannot speak to his experience with other platforms but I would not hesitate to recommend him for tuning the 1911.

Whether it's just to poke around his inventory of collectibles and range beauties or to inspect and recondition new purchases of used firearms, Mike larocca has been a friendly and knowledgeable host and professional. Reliably excellent work for simple parts replacements or more complex jobs, he has a great understanding and working knowledge of a wide range of firearms from antique to current. Prices are fair - not great - but he stands behind every piece of work and sales.

Gary Pelletier: Mike LaRocca is one of the best gunsmiths around. He is the only gunsmith I will let work on my carry guns and that in itself means a lot. The prices he charges aren't outrageous considering the top notch professional work he does and he never tries to sell you something or do work on a gun that you don't need, in fact he often tries to save you from doing unessessary work.

DRBR 2020: Can't really recommend this guy. I guess some folks have had good results with him (hence two stars) but I found him rude and not very well-versed in state and federal law. Just be careful. Take what he says with a grain of salt. The man must have skill or he wouldn't still be in business... but in my view there are far better choices.

matt downing: I want to stand up for Mr La Rocca and say that he does fine work. I purchased my first firearm from him, and he had done a superior job on it. He also sold a rifle for me and gave me a very good return. Enough said.

There are expectations you have some knowledge of why you are there and not just walk in asking for random "stuff". It's a smaller shop with not a lot of space to "handout" so I'd suggest you call ahead, during the week, to get questions clarified before you arrive.I've had great luck with the Bullseye team and have purchased multiple arms there over the years. The young man there i have to give credit treated us fairly. If you’re not going to spend time answering a question or two for your customers find a different profession maybe selling cars would suit you better.I asked if he has iron sights for an AR and his response was “i do but not where you can reach them”So we wait awkwardly for 10 seconds until he shows us. When i thank him and inform him i will be back next week to buy them and take a picture so i know what goes on my firearm,he tells me he's going to “stop the picture taking”He went on to say “look i’ve seen you guys here and you spend a lot of time here and you returned the gas mask and although i don’t dislike you i don’t like my time being wasted mmkay?”Delusional. I’ve had 2 interactions with him he’s upset that i returned a gas mask? Even though i’ve bought other things with him and kept them?I refuse to say this man is prejudice however i will say he severely lacks the communication skills and passion it takes to create a memorable experience for new and old enthusiasts and i pray the left wing news stays far from there so it does not make gun supply stores appear unorganized and not centered around education. With all due respect there are better options. I would’ve bought new AR furniture, a bipod iron sights and a foregrip and thank God for showing me it is the wrong place to spend my money. DRBR 2020: Reading some of these reviews, it's apparent that the owner has ticked off a few of his customers over the years. I wouldn't say that he is the most "lovey-dovey" gun shop owner around, but he is far from the worst. I have done plenty of business there without any problems at all.

Chris Phelps: I called around 5:30 PM to see if they had certain ammo in stock to which they did. I asked if they were open until 6:00 PM to which was confirmed so knowing I may be cutting it close I knew I would still make it before a 6:00 PM closure. I arrived at 5:55 PM and the owner/workers were standing out front of the shop with all lights off as if they were closed. I asked if they were closed and they said yes, I told them that I had just called and was told they were open until 6 PM, not 5:50 PM (as clearly they had already packed up and we’re ready to go). They told me close enough and proceeded to laugh. I told them that it isn’t funny and that I just drive here out of my way only for that reason. I then told them I will take my business else where as apparently they do not need my business. If you are a small business owner, don’t be like them. I’ll never step foot in this store again.

P B: I am leaving an honest review of Tombstone Trading’s business practices and behavior that I have been subject to, by Tombstone Trading. If Tombstone takes issue with this and tries to get it removed (which I’m sure they will), I want Google reviewers to know that my experience is first hand.Tombstone is facing significant public backlash over a recent incident, and I won’t speculate on the actual incident without facts. But I can say that because of public backlash from their handling of a situation with their bonded warehouse, they are actively deleting any and all negative comments regarding their handling of the situation. They are also blocking every single person who leaves a negative comment on any social media they have control over. Their business practice is for zero transparency and to sensor people as badly as the CCP. They have also accused someone of criminal behavior in order to reduce their credibility, despite zero evidence to support such a claim.

P M: These guys charge sales tax when providing a service that should not have sales tax added. That is not legal. AG should look into the shady practice.They ask for cash, I wonder if they are paying tax themselves on that. Shady business, shady people.
