I always felt like bow hunters were much more serious than everyone else so I was a little unsure about calling with no experience.I emailed Frank and said I wasn’t sure I would be buying but wanted to learn more. He suggested I come by the shop and he would fit me and see what he could do. He said if he didn’t have a great bow for me he would recommend something else.My first trip to the shop we spent about an hour measuring my draw and a lot of tips on how to shoot. I left with him telling me he had the perfect bow for me. He called me a week later and told me it would cost less than the price he Had originally quoted me. I don’t think I’ve ever felt better about a large purchase than I did with frank.Been to the shop 2 more times since then and he is so knowledgeable and happy to share it.I am trying to get 3 people I know to go see him and highly reccomend him. lizard king: I went to this bow shop for my birthday, I thought I had what I wanted locked in but the staff (A man I believe was named Nick) was very helpful and helped me get over my "fear" of triggers and picked out a bow that truly fit me well. He did in-shop adjustments to get the bow fitting right and stayed overtime to help me get the right bow for me. The in-shop range was also amazing help for picking out bows, and their prices on used bows are fabulous. Nick was a very good help and I would not have the best bow I could if not for him, I highly recommend this place if you want a good experience overall.

Caden Paul: Went in there to get a lens, a peep and some arrows and after waiting 15 minutes for the man to finish servicing another customers bow was told that due to tax free weekend and him being so busy that he will not be servicing bows. We were the only customers in there at the time.

Nicholas Crowley: I will NEVER come back here, came in for the first time today, walked in on the guy at the counter giving a lesson to a kid on how to hold a bow. Didn’t acknowledge us until we picked up something he then yelled across the store asking if we had permits, which in the state of Massachusetts you do not need just to simply hold a shot gun. I would certainly not recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t like feeling as though they are being accused of doing something wrong from the moment they walk in. Prices are absurd, you’re better off going anywhere but here. All the inventory is covered in dust from probably since they’ve opened which shows to me that people probably stay clear of this place already and for good reason too.

kyle anderson: Okay, so I’m not normally one to leave reviews of any sort (good, bad, or ugly) however, my visit to the archery plus location this afternoon left me walking away with a horrible taste in my mouth and a conviction to never spend another cent in this shop. I had contacted the manufacturer QAD about an issue I was having with one of their rests and their customer service was excellent directing me to bring my product into one of their local retailers and they’d take care of me. I called the shop and the man on the phone told me to bring my bow in and to look at what might be wrong. Believing what I had heard directly from the manufacturer, I got in my car and drove about an hour to get to archery plus hoping that they could at least help me figure out what was wrong with my rest to help me get shooting again ASAP… this was not the case. Upon entering the shop, I was promptly ignored for about five minutes just standing there while the man behind the counter was chatting with other customers and tinkering with something. When I finally got the man’s attention, he was rushing me along so that he could get back to his conversation and the first thing he asked me is “did you buy it here?”. No, I hadn’t bought it there and upon telling him that I had bought it at Dicks sporting goods (I know its not the best archery supplier but I’m very new to the sport) he said “F*** them” and pretty much dismissed me on the spot. He then proceeded to tell me that if I had gotten my rest from any other store that he would have been able to help me out but that because it was from Dicks that I could basically go sit on a tack. As someone relatively new to the sport, this entire experience was extremely discouraging to say the least and I most definitely will not be returning to this location for the foreseeable future.

Thomas Strange: I was at the Hamilton Rod and Gun club for the R100 this weekend. On target 6 my peep launch with the arrow. I found my way to Archery Plus. The woman working on Saturday June 24 was awesome. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She was able fix my Hoyt Defiant Turbo and I was able to finish my weekend shoot. Alan Jeskey: Existing member of the club. You get so much with your membership! Lighted Pistol and trap ranges allows you to shoot late. Great rifle range. 3 ponds that are stocked. A very active archery group. The upland bird club stocks hundreds of birds for hunting. A small campground on the 3rd pond. Miles and miles of trails. You can rent out the buildings for your own party. And the events are fantastic! Check out the Return to the Milltown car show! Or the Italian motorcycle owners club show. Come learn about outdoor activities at the Big MOE. There are ice races in the winter. So much more could be said.
