Fiona J: I signed a contract with Pioneer to have my driveway done in July but they never called to set a schedule. I called them several times and was told it would be done sometime in September, however I still didn't receive any phone calls to confirm. When I called in early October, I was told I was on schedule for the second week of that month. Laurie said she would call me the Friday before to confirm and collect payment but I didn't hear from her on Friday. After calling on Wednesday morning to find out what was going on, Laurie told me she called on Tuesday twice. Since I didn't answer, they skipped me and moved on to the next customer. Now I have to wait until November because they have so many "big businesses" lined up for the next 2 weeks; she was incredibly arrogant. As a surgeon, I am busy and sometimes do not have the luxury to answer personal calls during the day. I was given less than 24 hours notice and that is just inadequate. I chose them because they have done some work in the past for my office parking lot but they were not like this before. They have lost me as their customer. Partial work was completed with extra charges 3 months later, after the initial agreed-upon date, and then disappeared without completing a smaller part of the project. Just to make it clear - I did not pay for the part that was not done. However, I would have never agreed to do the larger part by itself without doing both parts together. Also once the work has begun it was completed within 2 days. Wish I did not pay the full amount (plus the requested extra) for partially completed work.Extra charges were for renting a chain saw to cut the tree root after the stump was removed. Michael Sutherland: I received a detailed quote and entered into a contract. The work originally looked great and I was pleased. This was very short lived. The top coat started to strip away less than one year from job completed. I contacted Jared the owner of Precision Sealcoating and received no calls back for a month. Once we spoke he told me that the quote that was given would not hold up in court if I decided to take him to claims and that he would "Take Care of Me". Mind you now July 7th I can clearly see that the original driveway that he said he would dig out on the quote was never removed and that he simply dumped Asphalt Tailings and rolled my portion of driveway he quoted to remove old driveway and replace with T-Base and Tailings. I have been waiting for Jared to make good on his promise since April 4th 2017. He was returning texts for the first two months with excuses but has since stopped returning calls and text messages.
