Olde Tyme Stuffe: what do users think?
Jeffrey Beauregard: I went other day store closed.are you open friday
A Tube: I brought these people two items for auction. I have never been paid (well over a year and counting) and have only gotten the owner on the phone once and he just gave me a line and story. Has never once called me back. Definitely NOT a fan, sad to say.Edit: I filed a claim with the bbb. OTS has until March 3rd to at least respond. They haven't yet.
Kathy Yasi: I "consigned" many items in April 2019. I have never received any compensation or return phone calls. I am embarrassed to have trusted them. If anyone wants to pursue some kind of legal action please contact me.
Robert McRell: They're thieves, don't go to!!!!
Chaled Abu Amara: Professional
Rich Gold: Roy is 100% correct. They are thieves and should be locked up!In April my aunt gave them a huge lot with some very valuable pieces. Several times the owner stated he sent out the check. This is November 28 still no check and he won’t even return phone calls. Fortunately my brother is an attorney so there will be no additional costs. Legal action will be instituted as well as contacting appropriate governmental agencies.
Lori Iwaniuk: Now all of their auctions are on Hope Ave and they are every other thursday. Not sure of the saturday schedule though. Its on the second floor now, but who cant use a little exercise on the stairs. I love this place! They are all amazing and so helpful. Its always a fun thursday night.
Roy Wetherbee: Formerly at 54 Suffolk Street Worcester, they have moved their operation to 13 Hope Ave, Worcester. They run their auctions periodically at the Hope Ave location, and have a small shop their as well.CONSIGNORS BEWARE!These people prey on the elderly and cannot be trusted with your consignments. Our family consigned thousands of dollars worth of collectibles with them in November/December 2015, which was auctioned at their New Year's Day auction on 1/1/2016. Payment was promised by 1/31/2016 but still has not been remitted nearly FIVE MONTHS after the sale. The business has been contacted numerous times and they have nothing but excuses. Legal action required.DO NOT TRUST THEM, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

The Antique And Auction Centre At Worcester: what do users think?
C F: So many neat things, prices go from super affordable to expensive, great for any budget... UPDATE, make sure you call ahead signs all say "open 7 days a week" two weeks in a row they have been closed (once a wednesday and once a tuesday), waste of trips out this way, very disappointing. I believe they are closed permanently now due to poor business practices.
Steve Piazza: It's a pleasure dealing with Ron.
Storm R69: They had a rare piece I was looking for and I didn't get soaked on the price.
Russell Moss: Barging galore
Flup Muffin: A very nice place. The atmosphere is very appreciable, save for the music. They ought to play 1920s swing Jazz rather than their awful Pop. All of their items are tantalisingly attractive.
Debbie Lariviere: Fun time
Diane Surrette: Very nice 👍
joseph Rapoza: A bunch of junk. I guess it's some kind of distinction between antiques and everyday items this is one of those places. Nice but not for me
Erin Jansky: Antique shopping? This is the place to go. Amazing stuff, fabulous staff, great pricing. Go. Give them all of your money.
Chris S.: Nice little place. Friendly folks.
Larry Doucette: Nice clean shop with something for everyone.
Dave K: Nice small antique shop. Nice stuff, not at all trashy, will return to see new stuff come in.
Chaled Abu Amara: ProfessionalGood deals
Kristen Burton: So many treasures!!
Zoraida Serrano Andújar: Muchas cosas antiguas y buenos precios
O'Nifty B: Fun place to walk around with a coffee on a winter day.
John Meyers: Wonderful antique store with many dealers. I love the look of the older oak furniture, and this place has many pieces. The folks there were very helpful and helped me contact a dealer for a special piece. This store is a Gem in worcester..
Melanie Silva: Great place to find unique things. The service was wonderful too!
Ron Dolat Sr: Great antique and friendly staff
Shane Holloway: Love it here, lots of great stuff for reasonable prices
Bill Tonsberg: Multi vendor space , good variety of items .

Caring Transitions of Greater Worcester: what do users think?
Homes Sales by Jay: Joe and the folks at Caring Transitions were great. They took the time to explain their process and to make my seller feel comfortable with everything they were going to do. Their help in organizing, cleaning out, and auctioning items was a huge relief for the seller. Once Caring Transitions finished their work, we were ready to list the home for sale. I would absolutely recommend their services!
carrie: Joe and his staff were amazing. Lisa, Karen and Kathy worked not only tirelessly but graciously to get my mother moved. Their kindness, professionalism and work ethic were SO appreciated. I would highly recommend them.
Kim Dulmaine: Joe was great to work with & very accommodating during a stressful & emotional time. I’d definitely recommend Caring Transitions.
J G: Joe and his associates were very helpful. His knowledge and attention addressed my concerns and ignorance in a short-notice cross-country move. Packing, cleaning, and making repairs which resulted in an easy sale of my house.
Deborah Shiraka: The business name really describes my experience “ Caring Transition “.Very fair pricing! Joe responded quickly and communicated with me throughout the project and truly cared about my situation. I had a disgusting hoarder situation to be dealt with so house could be sold. Caring Transitions took care of it all! Home was cleaned and sold by his realtor Dave Geraway with in a couple on months. Happy happy happy customer!!!
Rebecca Bernzweig: I could not be more grateful for Joe and Angela of Caring Transitions at this time of great emotional upheaval moving my precious family member into a nursing home. On short notice, Joe was responsive, communicative and followed through until the last knickknack was in place. This in turn allowed me to spend the day loving and supporting my family member in her transition versus worrying about putting her things away. They were also able to help me assess the value of a number of estate items which further put my mind at ease. Caring Transitions is an under-recognized asset in our community - do not hesitate to call them.
Sandy: Caring Transitions did a wonder job for me. They quickly and professionally accommodated my needs. It was such a relief at a very stressful time. I would highly recommend Caring Transitions.
Adam Hastings: Joe and his team helped me to clean out my father's house in Worcester after he passed away earlier this year. The house is large and was full of furniture and 30+ years of accumulated stuff. His team helped sort through everything, set up an auction for the stuff that had some value, and organized the removal and disposal of the rest. He made the entire process very easy, explained everything along the way, and was very communicative through the process. Highly recommend working with Joe and team.
Marcia Flinkstrom: Both my parents died the first weekend in April. They had been living in this house for over 50 years. I grew up there with my 3 brothers. This was a very difficult time for me. Handing over the house to be emptied, cleaned and placed on the market was profoundly sad. Joe put up with my questions and worries with patience and professionalism. It was important to me that the items including furniture be donated and not thrown in the dumpster. They did a wonderful job finding treasures to auction and places to send items to be enjoyed by others. The house is now on the market , clean, decluttered and ready for its new owners thanks to Joe and his team.
Don Rittenburg: We couldn't have had a better experience working with Caring Transitions of Greater Worcester - they went above and beyond. They communicated well with us, adapted to unexpected conditions, finished the work quickly and did an excellent job. We feel lucky to have found them. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.
Lee Joseph Coldwell Banker: Joe and his team did a great and timely job cleaning out of a property for me on the pond in Dudley. Quick appointment interview, timely clean-out and contract too. I recommend them highly!
Marisa Hardina: Joe and his team did an excellent job cleaning out my grandparents property! They worked tirelessly in the 90 degree weather to get through a colonial sized home, the attic, basement, and a detached garage. All within 1 week! Definitely recommend 10/10
Maureen DuVerger: Joe and his team recently helped me move my Mom into assisted living. He made room in his busy schedule to accomodate this quick timeline. Honestly, I don't know what I would have done without his services. His team was so professional and kind to myself and my mother.I will always be grateful to him for his help.
Alice Macierowski: 0ur family recently experienced the loss of our son due to a tragic fall at his home. Joe Abbascia of Caring Transitions was exceptional in his professionalism, heartfelt compassion & prompt response to our needs. Thorough & respectful. Licensed in several seServices.
Liz Bergquist: Joe and his team helped clean out our parent's home after their passing. They were honest and professional and got the job done ahead of schedule. Thank you Joe!
Deb Pratt: Joe and his team were just what my folks needed at this time, it was a perfect fit! Downsizing to smaller space living in a continuing care community was a daunting task for my mom and her husband. But Joe led them through the process carefully and respectfully, never pushing, always open to their wishes and respectful of their belongings. The team of workers were upbeat and efficient, a pleasure to have in the home! Thank you guys!
Daniela Bourges-Waldegg: Joe and his team helped us clean out my mother in law's house after she passed away. The house has been in the family for over 100 years, and contained the accumulated possessions of three generations. My mother in law never threw anything away, so the house was full to the brim with things stuffed in the most unusual places. Joe and his team sold the collectibles while setting aside what we requested; they cleaned out the house, and performed minor repairs and exterior services to get it ready to sell. They achieved a monumental task and did so thoroughly, gracefully, honestly and respectfully. We are very grateful for their help and gladly recommend them.
Kevin B.: I had about 15 pieces of art work from my parents' estate that my family did not want. Joe and CTBids were able to help us out. They picked the art work up, included them in one of their auctions, and everything sold. It was easy. I was able to follow how the art was doing during the auction by creating my own account on ctbids. It was one head ache that Joe and his team were able to take away from me. Thank you Joe and CTBids.
Dane Rota: I attended an advertised “pickers” estate sale in Royalston last year. Advertised Payment terms were cash or credit card. I drove over an hour to get there, only to discover terms were cash only. Owner Would not accept CC or check with Govt ID. Nearest ATM in Athol. I don’t recommend this firm.
Allen Legendre: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessCaring Transitions accomplished a cleanout during a holiday weekend under winter conditions in order to meet our tight schedule for relocating my elderly mom and vacating her house for the buyer. Joe works hard to accomodate his clients needs.
Anita Sadun: We hired Caring Transitions to clean out our mother's home after she moved to assisted living and had to sell it. Her move had to happen quickly, and all of us live out of state, so we took just two weeks to personally sort through and pack up essentials and items with sentimental value. The rest -- furniture, linens, household items, books, decorative items, and miscellany -- was left behind to deal with "later." I was sure we'd need another trip and days or weeks of work to clean out the townhouse. Then we found Joe at Caring Transitions, who was able to take care of the whole project efficiently and professionally.Joe's team sorted everything, donated what they could, and set up a professional online auction for the furniture and miscellaneous other items. Then they cleaned out the house, had the trash removed, and left the place move-in ready, in plenty of time for the scheduled closing date.Watching our much-loved but no longer needed possessions being auctioned off was hard. Some items generated small bidding wars, while others went for a song. In the end, though, proceeds of the sale paid for a significant fraction of the cost of the clean-out. Perhaps most importantly, we were pleased with the effort Joe made to find appreciative new owners for Mom's belongings. And it was so much easier than emptying an entire home ourselves could possibly be!
