Mark N: Paid $10 cover only to be told that they won't take a card to pay for a drink. Apparently they are a cash only bar now. They would not refund me my entrance fee when I turned right around to leave. I have no idea why Kenny and Denise would run a place this way, but I guess it makes them more money. I personally will never go back.If you chose to go to Greendale's, bring lots of cash, or expect to pay huge amounts in atm fees.
David Dufresne: Small place, old in side, but a stop on Saturday night for live music. Good size drinks for a good price.

Daniel Diehl: Had my keyboard for about 2 weeks to repair some clacky keys. About a week or two later the keys were back to where they were and seems as though minimal repairs were made. I frankly expected more for the price they charged and time it was there. They do, however, care about their business and it is a good place to shop at.Edit: The store contacted me and I’m going to bring it back in and see what they can do.

G. B.: I was never able to get signed-up for lessons despite using their online platform and calling several times. There seems to be a disconnect between the administrators and the teachers that makes this place dysfunctional.Edit: See the response from the owner below. True, I was informed that the admins have spoken to the piano teachers (only after I call them to ask about the delay in response); however, I was never contacted by a piano teacher to setup a lesson. Additionally my schedule wasn't unusual... if I remember correctly I put on the form that I am fully available Monday through Friday.Owner, you already have good reviews here, no need to posture. I hope you learn to use feedback to better your business and yourself.

From the outside, the building looks understated, but step inside, and the place has got it going on… the menu, the music, the vibe … people are having a good time in here, and the food tastes great, and the booze is priced right, so you can have a few. Coming here is like stepping into Oz. Everything goes from black & white Sepia tones into Technicolor.

Janelle Marie: If I could give this place a Negative Zero, I would, first time coming here because my mom and grandma we’re here & wanted some company, immediately felt uncomfortable and caged in place is super small and UGLY, looks like an old haunted bar from the 19 centuries, bathroom is TINY no space at all and needs to be cleaned, everything in this place wasn’t modern but in fact old and cringy. Sat at the bar to accompany my friend who was drunk (I wasn’t drinking) left my ID in the car, bartender was rude and had an attitude wouldn’t serve my friend because I didn’t give him my ID! I stated I wasn’t drinking he continued to rant on how people like me get the bar shut down! Good it should be shut down with that attitude absolutely disgusting behavior. Gave us less than 5 mins to leave, and that’s exactly what we did i do not recommend this place to anyone in the area please AVOID IT! Bartender didnt deserve a dollar from us or my time to go and grab my ID if i wasnt drinking! You should have security guards at the door if it was that serious. Dealing with people shouldn’t be his job because he is not a people person. This place is trash.

Jeannine Szymczak: Steel and Wire is a very welcome addition to the Worcester bar scene. The vibe is great and very laid back. The beer list offers something for everyone and all of the bartenders make amazing cocktails. It's also cool to see so many non-alcoholic options as well. Lots of great live music with an expanded stage area for the bands. I love the fact that there is a tv set up so you can see the band even when you are on the other side of the bar. The patio has been nicely spruced up from the Nick's version and it's a fun spot to watch the Polar Park fireworks on a Friday night in the summer.

Love the history of this bar and the fact that they filmed part of American Hustle here with one of my favorite actresses Jennifer Lawrence is a plus! If your looking for a cool vibe this is the place to visit!! Also a plus the owners know how to make a great cocktail!
Nicole Belanger: It’s fantastic to have a true cocktail lounge in Worcester. The atmosphere is comfortable and cool, the cocktails are creative, the draft beer is cold and the music sounds great. I love the decor too! Highly recommend this spot for a date night or drinks after work, you won’t be disappointed!

John H: I took a Squire Standard J-Bass in for a setup, told them how I liked it and wanted it, and the gauge strings I would prefer. It was ready in 2 days and the setup is PERFECT and better than I expected.The staff is friendly, takes the time to talk and hear about your likes and dislikes, anc VERY knowledgable. I'm certainly glad I discovered this Music Shop and have no plans to go anywhere else. Thanks for the great service.
Tyler Knapp: As a newly aspiring bassist, I brought my first (very cheap) bass here for a set up. What I got back felt like a huge upgrade. Matt was wicked easy to talk to, shared some knowledge with me, and I walked away feeling like I should have come here first to buy (instead of a cheapest thing I could find online).I got home to find my first two frets didn't sound great. They were very receptive to bringing it back in, and had it singing beautifully in ten minutes. I never felt like a bother for bringing it back, and see why they have such a stellar reputation for service
Matt McLeod: This is an awesome gem in Worcester. I have come in the past few months as a new customer and it is a great experience. Matt is very knowledgable and easy to talk to. He set up a few of my George Lynch model guitars and they play wonderfully. I will most certainly continue to come any time I get a new guitar or a restringing is needed. Fairly priced and fast service given the quality! Highly recommend!

I told him I’d have to think about it, but within a day I knew I wanted it. It was Saturday night after closing so I messaged the store through Facebook to ask about color options, expecting them to get back to me on Monday. But then they responded super fast! On a Saturday night!!! I came in on Monday and bought the guitar and immediately began playing when I got home. Even though it’s a half hour drive away, I plan on only shopping here for my music gear. Thanks for the great service and stellar guitar!
