Kiwanis Beach: what do users think?
Deana Trindadeharris: This place is nice and clean.People can jet-ski and boating. No complaints. Pay $25 to getting in,stays as long as you want. To do barbecue have to pay$20 bucks an hour to use the place.
Brian: It is a nice area for young kids (shallow water good for those learning to swim). Unfortunately Upton really needs to actively maintain this beach. There are goose droppings in almost every square foot of the beach area, which is a health hazard for toddlers / young kids. The sand is coarse and packed down. It really would not take much to rake in / purchase some additional sand each year and regularly clean up the droppings. Especially for what they charge per day.
Erica Maria: Wonderful property to spend time at the beach, in the water, boating, or walking the paths in the woods. Different fields and courts for activities. Upton recreation does a wonderful job with their Kids@play summer program.

Carbuncle Beach: what do users think?
Ray Brunelle: Carbuncle Beach is a perfect way to spend a summer day. We've taken our 4 year old grandson the last 2 years and he absolutely loves it.
Kelly Burns: Google site says open tried calling no answer went there no one around
Jacobe Barrette: We enjoyed ourselves so much, this place was clean and not over crowded .
Jessica O'Toole: Been coming here since the splash pad opened in 2016. Love it here. Great place to cool down, swim, build sandcastles. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. 🙂
A: Smells awful and water is gross
Jennifer Swett: Cute place for the little ones!
Ray Carlson: Best town around
Ron Dolat Sr: Very nice little swimming area.
Barbara Busha: $5 a person out of town
x Levins: This place is close to home, which is convenient for my family. My 2 year old loves the spray park. My 10 year old was bored with it after the first 10min. Its $5 for admission to spray park only- $10 for both beach & spray park access. Children under 2 free. We didn't go to the beach area, unsure of the water quality? I noticed the enclosed swimming area, which seems good so the kids didn't venture out too far. The water looked like it got deep fairly quickly. There are lifeguards posted up at all times. Also restrooms/changing area along with a small consessions area for snacks.
Anna Naef: It's a clean and cute little town beach with a great splash pad for kiddos. It is very busy, so if you want a quiet beach this isn't for you.
John Bowes: Great new facility Perfect family fun. Room rentals soon
Kristen Steinhilber: The splash pad here is great for little kids! And I love that it is fenced in so my toddlers don’t take off.
Jaime Smith: The beach itself is nice. There's a splash pad and there's no sign of how much it costs, so, having three kids two are under 2, thought it was perfect. There's only one picnic table near the entrance to the splash pad so we went up the hill to eat. My oldest went down first because she was done eating. When I brought the 2 little ones down the people at the picnic table stopped me and said I have to get a pass. It's 5 for EACH child a day or 15 for the season. I didn't have any money, she refused us and said we could use the lake. I was upset but we tried the lake, after 10 minutes her friends (who didn't have lifeguard clothing on) told us we had to move our stuff from the feet part of the lifeguard post. Her two friends sat in the lifeguard chairs while the lifeguard got a folding chair and sat between them. They were so loud and disrespectful in what they were saying, it was so bad we left almost immediately. This lifeguard should be fired. So unprofessional!!!! My kids day was ruined. No wonder this place is deserted.
