Sutton Falls Camping Area: what do users think?
Cheryl Gamache: Horrible owners, lack of respect and communication, paid for more then half of a seasonal site and went to make payment of the remaining balance only to be told that we no longer had a seasonal site. Everything happens for a reason and although I grew up at Sutton falls and will be sad to go to another campground I will not be upset to not have to deal with the owner Donna!!!!
Marc Desmarais: I've been here many years best place around
Robert Liberty: Peaceful & quietService was excellent.
Sandra Penaloza: There is a beautiful place ,and the staff it's so nice and friendly
Dr. Duff: Love this place, third year coming. They continue to make upgrades like the awesome new bathrooms (cleanest we’ve seen at a campground). The staff is super friendly and even helped us with a problem with our new trailer. The owners son mike? Or Matt? even helped us fix a leak in the trailer. The site next to us was a bit loud but at quiet time 10pm staff came and nicely told them to watch their voices and they quieted down. I like that if your up past quite time, they don’t come and put out your fire and leave you alone as long as your not being loud and bothering others. The pond had a bit of algae although I gathered largely because of the heat and the drought. We were tentative to go swimming but they informed us that they have the pond tested weekly which was definitely reassuring. Purgatory chasm down the road was a blast for the whole family.
Kayla Hollander: Love this camp ground been going for years and will continue for many more
Donna Sugarman: Very rustic. We had two different sites. Traveling in 36ft MH. Not for the faint at heart motorhome. Lots of seasonal folks. Nice enough at the office. Site 48 is the bomb
Jackie Picard: Super cute, great views on the water. Perfect place to have your morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine at night :)
Oliver Parsons: Fun place to stay there's swimming a playground really fun overall and the workers are so nice they helped us fix our coach for free
Patty Droukas: I have never felt the need to post a review on any site but this one is a must. Our experience was horrible from check in to check out. Friends brought their dogs but didn't realize that the rabies vaccine had expired 2 days before check. They were told to either take him home or find a vet. The vet total was $230. When he showed the front desk the vaccine card she proceeded to ask was it for 1 year or 3 years. Not sure why that mattered to her. Friday night the staff came to our sites at 9:15pm to tell us that we needed to be quiet because quiet time is at 10pm. They came about 30min later and said the same thing. we had no music on and were talking. All through the weekend they would drive by to see what the dogs were doing. A camper came from his site Saturday night and swallowed water wrong at 9pm and again here comes the staff to tell him to keep it quiet, while he was choking!!! we were told if we couldn't behave ourselves they would send us to our respective sites. DO NOT believe the pictures of the sites!! We had a site on the "River". It's a pond and it's not clean as stated! Full of algae. There was another site 2 down from our daughter who played music and partied til midnite and not one word was site to them. We were a target from the minute we pulled in. We left a day early because of it! Never will we ever stay here or recommend it to anyone else. A huge waste of money!!!!
Cassandra Janton: Great location with lots of fun things to do
Rhonda Leach: Very quiet clean bathroom friendly and helpful staff! May leave our camper for a month next year.Playground: Yes Public restrooms: Yes Off-leash dog area: No Picnic tables: Yes Barbecue grills: Yes …More
Michael DellaMonaca: Very friendly staff. They accommodated us in several different ways. Clean campground, specifically restrooms. Great place to go kayaking or paddle boating and view the wildlife. My wife saw a herring, and otter, and many ducks.
William Daniels: Very accommodating owners. Had wonderful stay
Fred Batchelder: Fun place for camping. Great service also.
Klutch Kye: For the amount you’re paying to stay on the skimp a** (tent only, also adjacent to neighbors) campsite, you’d think they’d have the decency to chop down the poison ivy. My party only got our money’s worth just by using the luxurious bathroom. First and last time to ever go there.
Ramphis Ortiz: Excelente lugar para acampar...10/10
Cesara Walters: Can not say enough good things about this camp ground! Our sight (81) was completely remote with no neighbors in sight and just the sound of the nearby flowing creek. Boat rentals are super cheap, and fishing on the pond was great. We will definitely be back!
Joe Don Baker: Stayed at Sutton Falls in Aug, 2021. Wifi is $2 per day. TV antenna reception was excellent. Cell signal on Verizon and T-mobile was 2 bars. Each site has a fire-pit and picnic table. Most sites are spacious and fairly level. (Have a couple extra blocks handy). The staff was excellent! Very friendly and helpful. The campstore was stunningly built. The covered bridge is nice and very picturesque. There is a nice pravilion with weekly activities. There are corn-hole games and playground. There’s a nice little beach on a river fed pond. This CG is a good alternative if you don’t want to stay at Indian Ranch for a concert. Things to do nearby are: Sturbridge Village, Purgatory Chasm, Whittier Farm, Ronnie’s Seafood, West End Creamery for ice cream, Breezy Picnic Water Slides, and there is a boat ramp a mile away for Manchaug Pond. Douglas State Forrest is nearby and has tons of biking/hiking trails. There is a dump station but you have to ask them to open a gate in order to get your camper near it in the correct direction. The campstore is well stocked. They fill propane there too. They have kayak and boat rentals. Bath houses were decent inside. There are very secluded tent sites if you want. When entering with an RV, there isn’t room for more than one RV, so use caution at busy times. We enjoyed our stay and will go back. (Note: Bathhouse in picture was being renovated)

Kings Family Campground: what do users think?
Paul Hathaway: Clean and fun....I go there often
Bob: We love it here, we are seasonals
Dylan Braley: Pretty boring Manger is not very nice she always drives down the walk ways so you can't walk she gets really mad and she pretty creepy she will sit and watch you for an hour
C M (CaptMark): My wife and I (and Jaxon, 2 yo Havanese) spent the weekend here from Sept 16-18. We had a great time. The Manager was extremely helpful throughout the reservation process and when we arrived she escorted us to our site on her golf cart. The campground seemed to be primarily seasonal campers and everyone was very friendly. They had a Halloween party for the kids starting at 4:00ish, which rolled into a DJ and bonfire in the evening. We had a fun time sitting at our picnic table with a drink and fire while handing out candy to all the kids in costumes. We would definitely return for another short-drive weekend at King's (we're only 60 minutes away).
Jody Leblanc: Not friendly people and always complaining about something.no activities for the kids it's just mostly older people.
Christopher Gemme: Not very much to do there,
Christina Harp: So much fun! Bingo was a great time! Nice family place!
Donna Darveau: Completely dead nothing going on. I was at a campground in CT for many years at 2:30 in the afternoon it was always busy. This place was very still and not welcoming. No activities for families or youth.
Ed Homick: Stopped at the camp store for some ice cream. Gail had pistachio and I had orange sherbet. Very good !
Anonymous Customer: One star for the owner trying to discredit valid reviews by saying they didn’t camp here and for not posting rates on the website.
Walter Kanz: Great campground nice owners and managers
Brian Little: Lots of funGreat people good management of the place is very clean nice Beach awesome fire pit some games music and treated us very well. But the stuff at the store is the only thing that was 35% higher then your average store, so make sure you stop and get your refreshments first before you go there.😎
Karyn Philibotte: Kings “Family?” CampgroundStay away! This was to be our 6th season and our lab puppy got off the deck. The nasty neighbor AKA managers snitch who is whipped, and lying wife who thinks she’s Gods gift called the owner ( who no one else has direct access to) because no one is supposed to bother the “King” and they lied about the dogs. We work hard to keep the dogs from getting loose but it can happen sometimes. It’s a VERY CLIQUE DRIVEN campground. Any time, and it’s rare, they have gotten loose it’s less than a few minutes to get them back. We have zappers when they try to leave the property. The princess snitch then made a lie that my husband beat the dog because she heard the Yelp when he was zapped. She will be dealt with. We were then told we had one more chance to never let the dogs escape or we’d have to leave. Five minutes later the dogs had to leave, 5 minutes after that we were evicted with no reason and escorted out by the Sutton Police. I was told I couldn’t talk to the other campers as the manager went site to site telling everyone..We had no access to our property, our gate passes were inactivated, and my husband is only allowed up there to clear our site when the alleged manager is there. Mind you we had paid close to 5K. The manager said it’s in their rules that they can kick anyone out for no reason if they desire. They say you violate the rules. NO ONE IS GIVEN RULES. She makes them as they go along. You sign a “ held harmless” for the owner for everything and anything that could occur. The owner is an odd man. Never waived or acknowledged me in 6 years. Did not even come to talk to us. We have never even been warned about anything because we don’t do trouble. WE WERE ASKED BACK.I was harassed when Covid appeared. They had all our money yet you weren’t allowed to your camper unless you could stay permanently. No pro rating like other campgrounds. I put on a post for people to be careful as I am masters prepared nurse and that we had 3 people die that week.I was called at home at midnight and harassed and screamed at to remove that post. The owner did not want to hear about Covid. We watched all the Brazilian families be run out ; no reason, one each year and we were friends with them. I wonder if that’s why we were targeted. We blew 2 converters while there and lost a fridge of groceries. The smell of sewage is rampant and the water smells like sulfur. The girl that wrote previously was 100% correct that if you mention anything they don’t want to hear it’s an argument. They don’t take care of dangerous limbs; one went through our roof we had a $12k repair, and it took four years to get them to take dead wood down. The accept no liability whatsoever. NOT A FAMILY CAMPGROUND.I’m sure they will respond with “ you violated the rules” dogs got loose. My husband got bit by the neighbors pit bull mix and we let it go.Different rules for different people. Our new camper is equipped with a camera system and we have the video showing the dogs going to another site and not in her sight. Liars. Backstabbers, cliques and many other issues She told us she’d give us a stellar reference. Hmmmm then why were we evicted in such a harsh manner? We have a lawyer who so far has had gotten most of our money returned but as it cost us $2700 to get our shed and camper/ deck moved; punitive and emotional stress pending. It’s funny how an attorney can change her mind in one day.For your peace of mind really look into this before you sign and pay.
James Ross: Very nice and clean went to visit family who have a seasonal Campground there had a blast Great Lakes for swimming killer little convenience Country Store very nice place
Irene Nareau: Most of the sites here are seasonal folks. But, with that said everyone i met here were very nice. Staff in the store were helpful and pleasant, and the owner was efficient. The lake was nice, with a small beach to bring the kids. Had a nice little playground next to the beach for the kids, would be nice though to have a spot for on shore fishing, only because all the seasonal people had private ways to their docks. The site we had was very uneven so we had a hard time leveling, but we had full hook up.
Robert Padgett: AWESOME!!!!
lisa alves: Great place to camp for the week. Sites are roomy enough that you have some privacy. Beach area was clean and a great place to spend the afternoon. Far enough away from the city to feel like you are on an out of state vacation but close enough to shopping if you forgot something at home. Would highly recommend.
Jon Doe: Love that place
John j: Late review as I tent camped here last year. Nice campground with a lake to boost. Place was clean and other campers seemed friendly. Had live band during my stay and noticed they allowed golf carts too which a lot of camps don't allow. Free wifi too. I'm in process of getting a camper as I write this as family looking to hopefully get a seasonal site here. Check the other sites in the area and was so happy to find this gem of a campground.
chadmeister ownz: Great place to camp and there has been so many upgrades over the last year. New septic, electric and now have gate set up with key card. I love the water views as most campgrounds are just places in the woods with nothing else. I looked at the other campgrounds in the area and they were behind the times with everything. I'm not sure were the negative reviews come from besides that it must be someone who doesn't understand the rules and now they lash out against the campground is the only thing I can think of because nothing negative here I could find.
Dawn MacPherson: I would keep looking if I were you. Not a good environment for a host of reasons their lawyer won't let me post... despite the fact that they were all true. In my opinion, better management skills are needed.

Pine Acres Family Camping Resort: what do users think?
Aaron Cadieux: All I can say in amazing.
Maria Decol: Pine acres family camping resort is on our list of top 4 campgrounds for sure!! 🤭First of all, The service there was everything. When we first arrived there, we were not sure if the place was gonna be good based on the reviews. We were totally wrong. The check in receptionists were very nice and told us everything we had to do and in a respectful manner. I loved the customer service almost more than any campground we have ever gone too.The amenities and the environmentThe amenities were probably the best things there as it included pools, motor boats, lake, a place for kayaking and boating, an splash zone and playgrounds and maybe more that I can’t remember. These allowed the kids to fun while the adults had peace. This campground is one to remember!!Then “CLEANESS”The bathrooms, laundry rooms and everything else was kept clean and barely anything was dirty when we got there. That might have changed but we hope not! Thank you for caring for your camper’s hygiene, Pine Acres! And the sites, The sites were spacious and for people who want privacy (like us) there were some lonely or wooded sites that we could choose from if they were available but some that were close to everything which we don’t really like because of the noise. That is good since most campgrounds don’t include wooded sites.Overall, this campground was by far one of the best campgrounds we have ever gone too. Thank you so much!!! 🏕️⛺️We are hoping to return this summer and keep your Calypso’s in stock!-Maria
Marilyn Cadieux: This place is amazing. It has many nice staff, pond is great, and has much room for the trailer or tent. AmazingRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Marissa Amidio: Awesome time camping at Pines Acres! Nothing but positive things to say all around staff was also excellent! Would highly recommend ☺️
Titan 2010: Great family place
Gail Akins: I came to visit my kids and grandkids for the day and the place is beautiful there was so much stuff for the kids to do it's clean the price might be a little more than most places but it is well worth it
Kriss S: Great family camping. Fun things for kids to do. Just wish the dog access to the pond was better, but overall, great for families, nice clean sites.
Frank Foss: We fully enjoyed your facilities. The Trick or Treat night festivities were huge fun. The other amenities, EG General Store, met our expectations. And, touring Quabbin Reservoir and taking the scenery, visiting Brookfield Orchards and passing through the NE small town commons and business districts brought back great childhood memories. We'll definitely visit again.
Justina Hoffman: Absolutely love this campground. Very nicely kept up and plenty of activities and amenities! A nice family atmosphere. Definitely our favorite campground!
Eric Dowd: We had a nice weekend trip here. The grounds and facilities were very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. My daughters went to return next year. I would recommend this campground.
Isaac George: Almost as good as the highest end stuff out west. The older staff members need to take a chill pill. They will disturb your visit at least once. They could do all the same security procedures without having to even talk to you about it. Im just visiting the RV park I don’t need to hear endless rambling from staff. If they’d learn a few soft skills they’d get 5 stars.
Madison Walker: Beautiful property but the people who work here are cray, ain't worth it.
Shawn: Well maintained and very clean.
Andrew Redalen: When we arrived, our site was slanted and we had difficulty leveling our rig. The solution was to call the ranger for help, but there was zero cell service. We had to drive 10 mins away to call for help. This should be in large red letters on their website so people know they will be camping outside of cell range. We were offered a new site, but the complete lack of cell service is a deal breaker for us. How were we to know? Now we are out $560 because they won’t even do a partial refund. Ridiculous! Know before you go!
Lisa Shaw: One of the prettiest RV campground that I have been too. Huge, lovely, spacious sites. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful lake and so many things to do. It was very quiet.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Massiel DS: Beautiful place to enjoy with the family!!
Brian Johnson: Have been spending a week here every summer for a few years now. We love it. Lots of activities for little ones. Grounds are beautiful. Pool with splash pad for kids, plus a really nice beach. We went during peek weeks, and it still did not feel crowded. Staff is friendly, and the campground is clean. When you book ask about your site. Some are bigger than others, but the staff is very knowledgeable and will tell you about the sites. There is a separate beach for dogs, well away from the people beach. Nice area and lets the pups cool down.

Nicole Diodato: I've been coming here for over 30 years, it's the best campground!
John Madeiros: Steamed hot dogs were a little green
Destiny Small: Small town camp store is exactly what you get. The same crowd for coffee every morning and hot dogs on Wednesdays. I absolutely Love the people that run and you see on a daily basis at Lake Dean Camp Store. Ms. Rose is one of the most big hearted, wise, and caring ladies I have ever met in life. Camp Dean Store embodies small town charm .

Wells State Park: what do users think?
Debbie Rayworth: Great place to walk each day a sunset. Nice loop trails, great campgrounds, yurts, beaver den, wildlife area. I love it. Thanks!!Dog-friendliness: Why not, dogs like to walk with us!!
Yvonne Raia: Early spring is a great time to experience this park. Come for the peepers and other signs of spring. Bring a small trash bag and help clean up after the ignorant people who litter.Beautiful, serene, clean. Lovely place to visit and easily accessible.
Gloria Maneri: Well marked trails
Lindsay Loves Pets: Great place to walk well groomed trails but still feel surrounded by pristine woods.
Ronald Hill: Nice place...
Dean Rossi: Went for walk with my wife had a beautiful time great scenery peaceful.
Aleksandr Verbetsky: Great park for a nice stroll. I went here for a photo shoot and it came out great. Lots of scenery and the lake was beautiful. I would come again if I was in the area. Here is something to note for anyone coming in the off season. There is a semi good size parking lot so you shouldn't have issues with parking.Nobody at the gate but there is a gate check for campers and possibly a fee during the summer. The road is a nice loop but it has some large hills. Its hard to get lost because its not a huge park.Overall the park is very friendly and I think its nice for a little getaway for a day. Summer will probably be better than late fall.
Wakaba Mungai: Serenity
Scott Kerr: Awesome campground, beautifulLake, quiet and secluded (at least at weekends)
Michelle McCarel: Clearly, Massachusetts does not like tourists in their state or our money. I can't believe the price difference for out of state campers. Guess we'll drive through your tiny state and spend our money elsewhere.
Michael Zanca: Very nice place to go hiking, I have been here many times. The only downside is that since it's so close to Route 20, Route 49, I-84, and I-90, you often hear traffic. Nothing beats the scenery, though.
Nancy Ann: My second time going. Just as good as the first. Great place to camp with friends, large groups, kids, or to be alone. They have something for everyone. Great getaway with Yurts too!
Michael Lowell: Love camping here!
Veronica A: A mostly very well maintained park. We interacted with 4 very competent and helpful park staff, with the exception of Colby, who would or could not do his job to the most minimal degree and bombed our Saturday there as a result. Some campsites are (much) better than others, spot 43 for example is a crack in-between two roads. Please be aware there is a burn ban there now and no campfires are allowed.
Nick Deubert: Nice wooded, private, campsites. Nice little beach and pond.Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly
Kory Rainville: Wells State Park Park was amazing. The people were very kind and helpful. Bob was his name. We was very welcoming and informative. The park was very clean. The beach was unguarded but very clean.
Bryce Kaszowski: It's a nice place but I just wish it was simple like the good old days you just arrive to the park rangers booth and pay and reserve your spot a for a couple days not be forced into doing it online and have to reserve 14 days some people just want a weekend.
Justin Firth: Great park, nice trails, generally friendly staff. It's always a pleasure to stay.
D'Squarius Green: Im upset. Theres now a $5 charge just to go in and walk around. Cant even use the beach. $20 if youre not a MA resident. Who charges for a state park?!
maureen Griffin: They need to have more than a frosted window for the family bathroom where you check in.Even though you can only see silhouette people inside doing their business, the creepy nature guy likes looking in.NOT ACCEPTABLEI’ll NEVER camp there again.Very upsetting
Laura Charron: We brought our kids here to fish, hike and swim… was wonderful! Our first camping trip since having kids! Only stayed a couple nights but worth it. We stayed at site 17 which is a great view but there quite a dingle to go down to get to the water from the site. Wish there was a rope or steps to get back up but we made due. Plenty of room for two tents and two vehicles though. Not far from a water spigot and the bathrooms/showers. Red squirrels and crows were quite noisy in the early morning but that’s to be expected!! Trails well maintained. Overall we had a good time!

Circle CG Farm Campground: what do users think?
Torhild StLaurent: When we first got there we had some issues with the electric but in no time at all it was taken care of .one of my favorite places to stay.
Lisa Waterman: This was a quaint, well kept campground. Easily accessible by large rigs. Public restrooms very clean. We weren't there during peak season so can't comment on facilities. But plan on going back again. Nice place to relax.Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Holly Angel: Campground was great. Clean and quiet. The mini golf and horseshoe pit we're not open yet. They did have some ponies and donkeys in a little petting zoo. There's a nice little pond on the property. Restrooms were clean and maintained. Nice little laundry room also located there. Overall nice little RV Park. I would recommend.Nearby activities: I picked this campground specifically because it was close to Urban trampoline Park. Which is located on the same road. Very convenient.Dog-friendliness: We had our dog with us and saw several others throughout the park. No issues.
Robin Russell: This is not a hotel. It's a farm that has some rv hookups. Great place, for kids. There are so many activities and great hospitalityService: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Janet Hersh: We needed a place to stay close to Boston Cancer Center. Although they were not officially open, they welcomed us. The office was closed when we arrived but all the information was in envelope outside. We left early next day and could not return before office closed, and they understood. Next day I went into office and reserved site for next two appointments.Bathroom was clean, heated and plenty of hot water.
Anthony Ramsey: Restrooms are heated and kept well. Sites are good for the most part. Had an experience with mites and/or sand flees that was frustrating as hell. The staff tho some friendly a couple really treated me real poorly and discriminatory. On my last day I was chewed up by bugs on my legs and received a bad spider bite I needed medical attention for. After I received such they called police to have me removed from the site. I was huddled around and stood over and rushed off the premises for reasons quite unknown. I was a quiet guest I was alone most of the time although visited by a friend and his child. I thought that it was highly disrespectful to have police escort me out because I stated I would need more time to tend to my wound as well as the bug bites. Rather then them telling me that I could not have that time, they decided to have the Bellingham police not only escort me but pressure and threaten me with arrest if I did not immediately and hastily pack my things. Siting CG STAFF were claiming I refused to leave when that wasn't the case.Restrooms: Clean. Well kept. Heated. Well stocked. Showers had good pressure and were adequately hot. Well vented for fresh air so smells were not lingering becoming an irritant . 4* on the RR.
Brent Platt: Great campground, with lots of amenities. Friendly staff, and a very clean site.
Traci Miller: While we found the location great - proximity to Providence, train station for travel into Boston, and proximity to the interstate, while foods, fuel…, the campground is out of date with poor roads, broken pavement, and old, scary electrical hookups which over heat. It’s a shame that they’re not using revenue to create a better experience.
Miriam Zaga: If you get late after hours they said call and they just said if you there and if you have reservation ok if not you hVe to come early before. 5 o don't come we been here and that is what the guy told us by the phone. Koa and others places always take you if you get late if they. Have space this place even they have place just for 1 night they wo t help you after hours
Lisa Quinn: Beautiful, Tranquil, and lots of Natural Beauty!! Super Friendly and Helpful Staff as well, Perfect place to stay for a few days 😉 THANX!!
Adam Wilbur: We love this place. The staff are so wonderful. If u need one of the guys that work there are so helpful on anything. We will be back again in spring
Megan Chartier: Hook-ups difficult to access in the safari field and sites are very close together in the field as well. Things looked more spaced out over the rest of the campground. Unfortunately when we were here for labor day weekend, fires were not allowed per city ordinance (which is understandably not the campgrounds fault) but we were not notified ahead of time so that we could bring a propane pit- I felt bad for the tenters who were planning on cooking over the fire. Biggest downfall was the campground does not have a playground or swings for the kids
Clayton Reed: The staff was very courteous, helpful and absolutely outstanding. Very quiet and enjoyable place to stay very conveniently located near to stores that can assist an rv'r passing through. Definitely a place I'm placing on a list to visit again.
Joyce Baggaley: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Circle CG farm. The setting is beautiful with lots of trees and privacy. When we got there my husband had some difficulty backing in our 36-ft trailer so we called the office and two gentlemen came right away and helped us out. We also had trouble with a circuit breaker and again somebody came right away to help. And then today we accidentally hit a tree and our awning broke and appeared to be loose. Again we checked in at the office and someone came and helped us make sure the awning stayed attached to the trailer. We've stayed at many campsites but Circle CG is now at the top of our list of favorites!
Damian Hyde: We loved our stay here! The campground is right in town, but it feels like it’s right in the middle of the wood! The owners are wonderful and kind. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re planning a camping trip near Boston.
Chris Shalosky: Nice campground. Very convenient, off I-495. Easy walk to an Outback steakhouse. I would stay there again.
Elizabeth Hicks: Nice campground. Lots of woods. Pool, mini golf, ponies to pet. Weak internet.

Andrea Bodnar: Absolutely beautiful Campground! This will be our first Season here, and so far even just setting up has been a great experience! The owners are absolutely wonderful people! My family & I look forward to meeting all of the other great campers, and making some new friendships for hopefully years to come 😊
Brian Wert: I would not stay at this campground if you paid me to! The owner is not an honest business person and will steal your money. I had a personal emergency and had to cancel my reservation in March. This gave them plenty of time to book the site again. I asked for a refund of my $2000 deposit and they refused to refund any of my money. Its a lake front site so I'm sure they were able to rebook the site. These are dishonest people with way too many rules in there campground. Stay away from this campground!!!!! This is not the first time they have done this to customers. I hope the better business people can do something about this theft!!
Lindsey Duval: We had a great stay. Bill was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We were at spot 3 on the top and had cell service. The spot was prefect for walking my pup out of the campground(rule:can’t walk dogs around the campground.) There is a road on the side of the campground that was great for walking the pup. Beautiful campground! I felt very safe and comfortable in the campground.
Robert Hardman: My wife and I had great times with all the other campers, live bands, ice cream social, Sunday coffee, swimming, boating, fishing. The list goes on and on. We loved the area, our camp site, the clean lake, and made some great friends! To the owners,Bill, Karen, Mike and Nick, we will miss you all so much. If we were not moving, we would have owners, many more years.
Lynn Furtado: Love it here. My home away from home l.
Susan Allman-Carlo: Loved it!
MD SQUARED: Bill was very nice. I haven't stayed there but it looked clean and inviting.
Gg Homick: Nice and relaxing. Some shade some sunshine. Friendly staff and campers. On lake.
Peggy Word: This campground is beautiful! The sites are spacious and the lake is wonderful. The owners, Bill and Karen, are so helpful. This is our first season here and we hope to come back every year! All our neighbors have been here year after year and we can tell why.
Charlie Lucci: Great remote spot
Mark Gilmore: Visiting family...enjoyed the lake view.
Tammy Borges: We are going on our 7th season at Lake Manchaug Camping. We have seasonal camped at quite a few campgrounds over the years and finally have settled on the best.Bill, Karen, Mike and Nick have been extremely helpful over the years with all of our needs and we couldn't think of going any place else. When we had a medical emergency this year we realized how well the place is run and how they have systems in place to handle everything. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and we couldn't be happier.
Ryan Casey: A great place to camp with a relaxing vibe
Thomas Livingston: We really enjoyed staying at this campground. Seasonal campers were friendly and so were the owners. Sites were spaced apart and the lake is beautiful.
Scott Lafleur: Bill was awesome. Treated us good. Very accommodating. We will be back! We had site 140. Nice size. Water was good. Caught some bass.
Mio Rodriguez: I just got off the phone with the most rude person ive ever spoken too, I was just trying to ask about availability, the man said " do you know its 6 am, get a life" and then kept hanging up on me, thats so most rude customer service ive ever had, ive been in the industry and you should never talk to anyone like that. Wouldn't recommend!
Jose Espinal: Goelo
Audrey Flanagan: 6/10-6/14 | Site #36This was a beautiful campground. The lake area was so pretty. Walking around the grounds were so pretty at night with all the campers lights. Campground was spotless. The only con was the dog - you cannot walk them around the campground so we were also "tied" to the site. We knew this going there and didn't think it would be an issue but it just felt confined. Would absolutely come back if we didn't have a dog.
Mark Morell: Bad business practices gave our sites away without notice. I'm glad we're not going.CAN'T WALK YOUR PETS WHAT'S THAT ALL ABOUTHow many campers do you know that have pets ALOT FIND ANOTHER CAMPGROUND
Jim Flanagan: Very nice campground, mostly seasonal sites. Owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Lake is beautiful. Only downside is the dog policy, otherwise it would be a repeat visit.
Roger Killelea: My wife and I were brand new to camping 3 years ago. Called for info, and Bill took me around to whole campground to make sure I got just the right site.We have been seasonal since then , love it here. Well maintained, lots to do. Bill, Karen and family are great, always ready to help, no matter how busy they are!. Great place, we would never go anywhere else!

Quinebaug Cove Campground: what do users think?
Ronnie Wetherington (Ron): We stayed here for two nights. The overall Campground has some nice sites. However, a large number of these sites appear to be seasonal and long term residents. The number of sites for transient campers appears very limited. We were given a site in the "Courtyard" area. Sounds nice and special. It's actually nothing but a small open area jammed with campers closely packed together. The prices for these sites were $63/night. After backing our 38 ft Class A motorhome into our space there was barely any room to park our tow dolly and small SUV. I spoke to several others within the courtyard area and all were of the same opinion. The sites were to small and priced to high for what they were. There are a few sites down by the lake with only water and electricity that at least had a better view but were still small. These sites also we're close. Overall, if you're a seasonal camper the park is probably ok. If you're a transient it will do but don't expect any wow!
Adam Blais: We stayed down at the beach, I wish I knew prior to booking that this campground did not have any privacy. It was more of a glorified parking lot.If your ok with zero privacy this camp ground may work out for you.Trailers were parked ten ft away from one another all in a line.We ended up getting locked out due to not being given a gate code.
Forester Fay: Great Resort. Great People, Great Activities, 5 Stars PLUS.Playground: Very Nice.Restrooms: Spotless.Dog-friendliness: Welcome.
Peter Qumsiyeh: One of the best campgrounds we’ve been to. Pool is amazing. My son loved the playground. Hopefully someday they add putt-putt and they’d be perfection.
Gail DeJong: Excellent Campground, lots of activities, Wonderful staff, We have been many places, but this is Top Of The List!
Marc Courchesne: If you want to hear nothing but barking dogs constantly and have a board of directors do nothing about it, then this is the campsite for you. They have a lot of rules here and only follow the ones they see fit
D J: Nice area lots of scenery by the water, very cleanSites alittle to close together, but worked out for our group campingI would go back
Peggy Reichard: If you had negative stars available this place would get them. It was the worst. We were put at a site up in Eagles Nest and were told we would have a beautiful view of the lake. That was a joke! We had a beautiful view of the weeds blocking the view of the lake! The roads in the campground were awful! We were afraid our motor home was going to bottom out! The office/ store opens at 10am and close 3pm. So if you need anything after you're SOL. And I had more supplies in my cabinets than the whole store had. Don't look for friendliness here. There was one lady in the office that was nice but felt the need to remind us constantly that she was leaving at 3. I'm so sorry that we stayed there and we would have left but the rules are that there are NO REFUNDS! Stay someplace else! Even if it's a Walmart parking lot. You'll be happier!! Oh, and as for the nice beach they said they had....it was a mud hole!!
Julio Beltran: One of the best campgrounds in massachusetts.
Robert Hoff: Good, clean sites and bathrooms. Cable TV was very grainy, poor quality. Site was quite small, just big enough for our 28 foot Winnebago View and parking out Honda Fit next to it.
Gerald Bomay: I had to turn down a potential one night reservation because the park receptionist would not honor Passport America discount for one night, Tuesday, 9-14-21.No mention of a mandatory two stay night to use my discount, only a one night stay was advertised on their website. Quinebaug Cove Campground, I will stay where the management is honest and honor their advertised discount with Passport America. The receptionist did say, "The website information had not been updated." Quinebaug Cove Campground, not a good customer relation oriented company.
mike kibling: Great experience with plenty of activities to peak my interest. Pet friendly with great views and super accommodating staff.
Ginger Carpenter: Super nice people met a lot of nice campers there
Joseph Wykes: Nice n tight campgroundPool lot's of fun
Peter Mullen: It is probably the worst campground I have ever seen. We took a tour in hope of finding a seasonal site but it was cramped, dirty and in my opinion a fire hazard.
Bill Henry: Mostly seasonal campers and a good place for them. Area looks nice. Not a place for a big trailer. Roads are very narrow and barely passable with just a truck. I was put on top of a large hill. I had 2 very very steep narrow roads to go up. I spun some on the dry road. I would not have made it up if wet. Coming out was worst, and a long trailer will get hung up exiting the park if you are not real careful.
Dina Oehley: Place is great. So much work done the past few years
Debora Hernandez: Love itt love itttt..going back again..
Carleen Curran-Twining (Carly): Beautiful place!! Everyone is very nice and helpful ☺️
Marijo Ahnger: Nice place. A beach to launch kayaks. A wooded area for a walk. Great restrooms and showers. Comfortable clubhouse with books and DVDs to borrow. Nice pool. Activities included a bonfire. All in all I enjoyed my stay.
