Lauren Griffin: We have been coming here for over a year now and have meet quite a few different people and have always had a wonderful experience with everyone we have met.Whenever we have to call for a sick visit or to speak to someone we always get a callback fairly quickly.(less than 30Mins)Highly recommend this office or the shrewsbury one!

I am trying to schedule one appointment for my sick child , they put me on hold for over 2 hours and what happened in the end not even shcedule one appt throw the phone but instead they fight with me . Jasmin Powers: Where do i even begin. This place… I have been a patient here for my whole life, was employed here at one point, but the issue at hand here is the practice administrator. This person is hypocritical, condescending, and someone who does not value employees who go above and beyond. And the nurse manager as well, this person also has the same tendencies. I used to love this practice, but now i do not. There are wonderful people employed here, but also people who will turn their backs on people in a second. Now why would i waste my time on this page? because it’s awful seeing people that are close to you devastated because they had been employed at this establishment for years, and they are let go because of the management. Thank you. (also i had posted this on their facebook page and it was deleted and i was blocked from my own pediatricians office, so if that doesn’t tell you something idk what will.

Liz Villatico: Dr. McGowan is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my children’s health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. She combines such personal touches and care for my children as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. This facility is excellent at communication . Every time i’ve called for a concern or a question especially having a newborn they are sure to get right back to me regarding my concerns .

diana r: You can never get a holdOf ANYONE at the office. I once got the email of one of the admins in the front office. I used it once because i needed to get a hold of someone (literally anyone with a pulse who worked in the office) and was scolded by the office manager. A mother should NEVER have to jump through hoops to get a hold of their child's pedi office. The level of care that was provided to my son during a time of need was much less than the standard of care. Take your healthcare needs elsewhere.
s25 k: Service has deteriorated and its getting worse in the last six months. Used to have good service for kids few years ago. Can no longer see a doctor no matter what the issue is. Misplaced bloodwork multiple times and re-ordered lab tests. They try to schedule multiple appointments for blood tests on different days for the same test and can no longer reach the provider
Patti Arakelian: I love this practice! Yes, things were challenging during the pandemic, but it was difficult everywhere. This practice pivoted to accommodate their many pts and families. They added more rooms, even a wing, more clinicians and adapted to keep pts safe. The nurses are very compassionate, our Dr's and covering Dr's have been amazing.I credit this practice with keeping my sick kids out of the hospital for more that 16 years. I can not recommend them enough. Who else can see your kid on a sat or Sunday? Who else can take your call after midnight and actually have a nurse call u back? Who else has the organization to follow up on a sick kid after a trip to the ER.This practice does and has done it with compassion and competence every time. We are beyond grateful for their service.
annepsi powers: This place deserves a zero start option on how they treat employees. I was there almost 30 years and instead of trying to figure out why I was unhappy they instead pushed me out. The turnover there has been horrible and can’t even blame Covid anymore. Management is the biggest problem there. They could care less how to fix the hour plus phone wait times for these poor patients. The managing partner needs to retire because she’s blinded by the administrator and nurse manager. The whole place has gone down hill and fast.

Melody Langer: If I could give zero stars I would. Child Health Associates in Auburn MA, is nothing less than disgusting and uncaring, which is putting it nicely. Negan has been sick for well over a month, and has been prescribed antibiotics twice, neither time worked. Brought him in yesterday for his cough and congestion, they sent me home with a topical cream for his rash on his bottom. I requested blood work be done any the nurse practitioner said “there was no need.” He had a fever of 103 today at daycare and I called Child Heath at like 3:00 and there were TWENTY people waiting for a call back ahead of me. I called a new doctor, who was able to see him by 3:45 today. Immediately when we walked into her office she hears his cough and says “he needs blood work and an X-ray of his chest.” We did all that, got home and ate some dinner and gave him his medicine and he immediately threw it all up. I then him a bath and he was shivering so badly afterwards, and he literally asked me if he can go to bed. Clearly there was something more to his sickness, clearly two doses of antibiotics didn’t work, and they just didn’t care enough to dig deeper into the issue. I am beyond words disgusted and disappointed with every single individual that I’ve dealt with at that practice. My baby is my world, and I’ll be damned if someone tries to treat him poorly or not care about him. Okay, mama bear rant over. Thanks for listening.
Makayla Strzelewicz: I have been coming to this doctors office since I was a newborn. I had Dr. Detora and she was fantastic. Ever since she left, this place has been falling apart. When you call them you have to wait a good one to two hours to even talk to a nurse. I had to switch my doctor and I got Dr. Ryan and she is so rude. Every time I go in to see her she makes these rude comments. I had to have lab work taken last time and they wanted to pick my finger. I didn't want to do that and basically Dr. Ryan told me to grow up and just do it. I ended up doing the lab work. A week later I had to call quest diagnostics myself for them to tell me that they never got my lab work and now I have to go redo it. I never got a call from the office telling this. I will for sure be switching doctors or finding a new doctors office.
Kymberlee Brown: Unreasonable hold times. I'm calling because of my daughter being sick and I've been on hold for 30 mins so far and counting. They don't care about their patients and it shows with their steady decline in empathy and customer service. I've noticed this decline started after Dr. Detora left. I've been at this practice since I was 4 and now all 3 of my kids go here and after recent experiences I am seriously considering changing doctors.

We were 10 mins late after getting stuck in traffic and Dr. Kane said we needed to reschedule our appointment. Theres no patience now and last time we got a flu shot the nurse cut my daughter's arm with the needle. I will be changing doctors after this experience.

Hala Abu: It’s a pain to schedule appointments or get them to answer phones in a timely manner.
M: Very very horrible place. Very bad experience with the doctors. One thing is my daughter’s doctor had an accident couldn’t show, so they changed a new doctor temporarily. The new doctor made an appointment with an allergy test without asking my permission. The other thing is I just moved to a new town and changed my children’s pediatrician. The new pediatrician needs the immunization records. So I called Child Associate to fax the record to the new pediatrician. Here is my horrible experience: They told me I have to physically show up and sign the release form, meanwhile I have to pay $10 fee.I moved from other states and had three more pediatricians, but I never heard I have to pay for the immunization record. Today I called them to ask immunization records again they’re very rude too. A women with a mean voice told me she couldn’t find my children ’s birthday and there’s no records for them. I was very angry about that and said: “we had been your office for four years, you told me there’s no records?” The women hang up the phone. Very very rude. I asked our new pediatrician to help and got the records finally. If you change doctor they will be very rude and mean to you. The best thing is don’t use them when you are looking for a pediatrician.

R.J. Penfold (RJ): I want to preface this by saying I've seen Dr. Howard for ~20 years, and haven't been disappointed in my care. But about a week ago I called the office because I ran out of my antidepressants, and wasn't sure who to call. The receptionist who answered told me they would inform my pediatrician and sent me over to the social worker. I had already not had them for a week, so I was starting to feel the withdrawal. The social worker told me they couldn't do anything since they're not a psychiatrist's office. Okay fair enough, but Dr. Howard did allow me to get a refill through him before. They then told me to call the last person who perscribed my most recent refill. Okay, I can't do that because I'm no longer a patient from that office. It's been two weeks now and the Antidepressant Withdrawal Syndrome makes me feel like I'm suffering the worst flu of my life, minus the high body temperatures and possibility of death without the proper medication. It's not the doctor's fault, that's not his job. He's a pediatrician, not a psychiatrist. But I told the social worker "I don't know who to call because I'm not with CSO anymore, they can't give me a refill." I feel betrayed even though I know they were doing their job, and I do have an appointment in 3 days with a psychiatrist close by. But I'm still going through the symptoms of not having my medication, and I had hoped they would be able to help me until I was able to see said psychiatrist. All in all, I do think CHA is a great office, but this last call made me feel like I was the dumb one for assuming they could help me with my mental health. Sorry for any typos, I'm on mobile and not wearing my glasses because I'm having a lie-down.
Eric Peterson: Staff and facilities are great. We love our Pediatrician and the have had pleasant experiences with the others we've been on short notice. Nurses are all wonderful as well. My only complaint is their phone service, during the day the hold time has never been under 10 minutes to reach someone.

Everything about this office (and associates clinics) are fantastic. The poor reviews here are not representative of the general population! This clinic is very popular locally! Lots of my kids' classmates also go here!

The staff is friendly and you can tell they really care for the well-being of all their patients. Sara Flagg: Dr. Zawatski is incredible and takes great care of our 2 children. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. Hours are great, my son had to be seen urgently for an infection and we were able to go after work. We have always had a great experience.

Isaac Houston: Maybe I should preface this with saying I dislike the whole medical system. However, this office is deceptive in its charges. They offer an early pay discount, but only if you call to ask about it specifically, they don't advertise it. They also aren't very talented. We took our kids 4X before they finally decided to do a flu check, despite all the symptoms indicating such. They just kept prescribing antibiotics without even checking the cause. Each time they were billing us with co-pays and you obviously have to pay a % of the visit cost with your type of insurance. Go here if you're rich and don't care the cost nor whether your child gets proper care. Otherwise, find another care center.

It's amazing having the opportunity to work with all different kinds of families and to become a member of those families. From playgroups to home visits to going back to school bags and helping families get ready for their young children to start preschool, it's a great place that is able to offer a lot of different support to the families of Worcester.

Danielle Stevens: My son JJ has worked with his BA Angel and his BCBA Brittany for the last few years and I can not begin to explain the impact they have had not only in his life but in mine as his mother as well. They have taught me a lot of ways to help my son with his behaviors and have always gone above and beyond to make sure we have the help we need with him. I can't say enough about the work they do. I always tell my friends with children that have autism about how great and accommodating everybody at BCI has been for our family.
Maria Cecilia Harding: My daughter Lorelai has been going to BCI facility since she was 1 1/2 years old. She was given very capable and professional therapists. They helped us developed Lorelai’s ability to function in the world through continuous ABA. Thank you so much! Danielle Kulaga: They allow therapist to no show on you and your child time after time week after week and DO NOTHING! But the second you get upset and question them about their inability to preform the therapy that your child should be getting they will drop your child’s services! I plan in escalating this to the fullest! Dee: My son has been diagnosed with autism spectrum at the age of two. I’ve been with this company for almost 3yrs. It is countless the amount of times that 1-2 months after an ABA worker has been assigned to my child, I am being told that my child’s ABA worker is leaving the company. Most people give two weeks' notice before quitting their job. However, I’m informed 1-2 days prior that my child will be without services again. Equally, I found myself having to continually reach out to the BCBA to remind them that my child needs services, so my child is not forgotten. Each time I had to wait approximately 3-4 weeks before services were reinstated. Needlessly to say, we’re at this place again. This halt in services for my child with this company has happened so much, and so often, I’m beginning to take it personally. I am beginning to believe that this is happening to my child only and that my child is not essential to this company. Right now, again, my child has no services or plan in place. I have been informed that my child’s ABA worker left the company, but I have not been told when or if my child’s services will be reinstated.I meant to send a follow up to this postA new ABA was eventually assigned to my child. She was to work with him during the time he attended daycare. On the third day, during playtime, my child was given an old handheld manual beater to make bubbles in soapy water. When playtime was up, my child did not want to stop playing in the water. This ABA worker snatched the beater out of my child’s hand. In the process, she practically sliced the entire pad off my child’s pinky. BCI never called me to apologize or anything. My child had to get sutures.Maybe it was a sign I should have taken heed to when I couldn’t get services from them

Elizabeth Marvin: While my son's first case manager was knowledgeable, the actual therapists that came out to work with him were not great. The first one tried to discipline my son's twin sister, and would allow my son to melt down for over a half an hour at a time, I am sorry but that does not seem productive to me. Then, my son's case manager was changed, and showed up without any warning at my son's place of care while I was at work. When I reached out to him to introduce myself and request a meeting to review my son's needs, the email was not answered in a timely manner and a meeting was not arranged for well over a month after the initial contact. Meanwhile, the therapist working with my son, rough housed with him, allowed him to hit and bite, and did not push him to achieve what he is capable of.I would never recommend this place .

Carlito V: Called to make a dental appointment called number on website kept getting there voicemail called during operation hours, called the main line instead of talking to me just sent me to the same line left voicemail and no one returned phone call, next day called operator and they took my information and claimed to put a note in for dental office and someone would call me back yet no one did had to go outside side my provider to be seen which cost me out of pocket cost over 500$
Jerey: I normally don’t do these reviews But enough was ENOUGH with this facility.Everyone knows to make a Same Day appointment you have to call at 8 in the morning to get booked in for the day.Exactly what I did, I got scheduled for a 4 Pm appointment at the Urgent Walk in center. I arrived an HOUR EARLY (everyone knows the Walk-in Center is Always crazy packed- and they usually take you in earlier)Now let me tell you, I Have a recording of TWO NURSES trying to deny me Medical services And cancelled my 4pm appointment.One nurse Named Kathy (WIC) was obnoxiously Rude. Telling me that I should Call for a Same day, that what I’m being seen for is not “urgent” and brings up an irrelevant appointment that I missed that I was NEVER informed about. No calls. No Text. Not email regarding a missed appointment- besides the point she Then tell me “I’m not a doctor to tell you anything about your ear I just know an earwax impaction is not urgent” and I told her “if you’re not a doctor you should not be talking on something you have no Knowledge on”She cancels my appointment along with a Little Asian nurse (did not get her name because she refused to give me it) in words (in my recording) said “your 4 o’clock appointment is cancelled, there’s no doctor that’s available, no one can service you today.”I had to Report these ladies to their higher up Located on the 3rd Floor, Administration. Those ladies seen that I went to report them and all of a sudden they “ found” a doctor to attend me and all of a sudden my appointment was NOW available.This was completely unacceptable.DO NOT WORK IN THE MEDICAL FIELD IF YOU AREN’T COMPASSIONATE. ANYONE who books an appointment is and should ALWAYS be entitled to be Seen and to have medical supervision.This is a real life review, and a review telling new comers to Simply go to elsewhere to be medically seen.I dunno why they targeted me, I do 6 months routine for an ear flushing appointment UNLESS my pcp is not available. I been doing this for the last TEN YEARS. Nothing new.(I wish I’m able to post video on this instead of picture )
