shannen Ryan: I honestly DON'T see why WCU received such bad reviews! Over the past year and a half I have refinanced my house, opened an equity line and purchased a new car with WCU effortlessly. Yes, they had to close their lobby due to Covid19, however, they helped me through scheduled appointments, telephone calls and DocuSign. I love that I can manage my checking account, mortgage, equity line and pay all my bills through the online banking and their mobile app if I'm on the go! Lastly, now that the lobby is opened, I specifically went in to see the renovations that were done and it looks lovely. It's modern, bright, clean & inviting.

After they deposited my $$, I was told by the same person that their card machine was down. They’d call me tomorrow so I could pick the debit card up. It’s been over 2 weeks - I’ve made three calls in (left vms) and sent emails. No card. No returned calls. One email saying the card isn’t ready! VERY FRUSTRATING. Only way to access my cash is waiting in a long drive thru lane. . . I highly recommend you do not use this credit union. There is no customer service.

They exceed expectations that everyone's situation is not created equal . I have nothing but great things to say about WCU ,no matter your financial situation they will attempt to work with you . I have obtained several loans from this institution and my credit was not the best they are what a second chance looks like if you are up front and honest . Everyone deserves respect and if you do not obtain the answer you were looking for they are more than willing to find out what you can do to help them help you . Salim Ibrahim: Customer service and pace leaves a lot to be desired. Took forever to complete a very simple check deposit. While I waited, nothing was said to me - very little to no acknowledgement. No update, nothing. My time was not respected. The Drive thru is just as bad. Communication is very poor. I've worked as a teller before - customer service etiquette is very poor.

Deirdre Souza: I always have a checking and savings account at one bank. I put most of my money in my savings and when a check/debit comes in I can just make a simple transfer. I just opened both accounts here and if the money isn’t in your checking account they will charge you 30. Even if you have it and transfer it the same day!!! They don’t care. They said it’s ‘live’. Whatever that means. I never heard of such a policy. I will be closing my accounts as I cannot live under that regime. I don’t make much money so 30 bucks is a lot. I don’t like to keep all my money in my checking as it’s easier to spend it. I have a lot of debits and can’t keep track of them all so it’s easier to transfer the funds. I wish I had known this prior to opening my accounts

My husband was the sole owner of our previous house so I had never experienced the mortgage process before. DawnMarie, Hillary, Sara and their team were incredible. They were responsive and answered all my questions and made getting a mortgage seem downright simple. We don't plan on buying a new house anytime soon, but if we did we'd be using IC again for sure.

From transitioning to a full time job and setting up direct deposit, to getting my first debit card Allcom has been there to back me up through it all and make banking not only a easy task but an enjoyable one. I recommend this credit union to all, especially young college students such as myself. They have great workers such as Serena, Chris, Shaiasia and so many more, that really make the experiences great!

Austin Rose: 0 stars. Been a loyal customer for years now and within the past 3 months I’ve needed to get a new debit card twice as both times there was fraudulent activity on my account. In both instances the unknown party was able to put my account in the negative. Dcu was lazy to say the least in returning/refunding what was taken. In addition to that it took 3 weeks to get a new debit card. 3 weeks where I was unable to access MY money. Appalling, disgusting, go anywhere else for a bank.

Thank you DCU for providing my first 5 star banking experience. We accomplished exactly what we came to do. Also, this branch was very clean.

nicholas leboeuf: I received an antique auto loan with DCU in early January. I purchased a 1992 Nissan Skyline GTST with the check for the loan from the sellerwhom had a loan with DCU for the car. The day that I gave him the $12,000 check for the car was the day he paid the vehicle off. The problem is that the lien is still yet to be released from his title, so he has not received the title in the mail yet to sign over to me. He received a letter in the mail stating that the lien had been released and that he should had been expecting the title in the mail. I keep receiving letters stating that the vehicle must be titled with DCU listed as the lien holder and that I must provide insurance proof for the vehicle. I obviously am not able to retitle/register the vehicle since a title was never received to be signed over. Along with that my insurance agent will not insure the car unless I have the title for the car. The seller and I have both been to branches numerous times to try and sort things out and the situation never comes to an end. I received the "Final Notice" in the mail today stating that my loan will now have $1,602 added to my loan balance and that my payments will increase by approximately $137.50. I will also attach a screenshot of proof straight from the Massachusetts DMV's website showing that the lien has yet to be released from the seller’s title. Due to the negligence of DCU releasing the lien from seller’s title, I am now the one facing unnecessary repercussions that should never be happening. The vehicle is still fully insured and being paid for monthly by the seller so it has not had a lapse in coverage although I understand that the insurance is supposed to be in my name which I am unable to do without a title.
Purity Kiruma: Being a DCU member for many years , today; 3/6/2020 I had the worst experience. I was very disappointed with the teller who served me today. This is one of the DCU branches that I will never go back to ever again.

Robert Weisz: Unfortunately it's been a bad experience for us over the years as an MCU customer. The fees for doing anything are way too high, excessive and the overall banking experience is very behind with the times (very few/if any network ATMs, still using slips for every deposit and only in person service). Any larger withdrawals need to be done in person and you can't transfer money to other people's bank accounts. Consider all these before deciding against a bigger bank.

junny delgado: AVOID NICOLE JIMENEZ helping you. I was trying to go in to finalize my auto loan with a half hour left to close and you can tell she was not happy at all to help me out. She seemed miserable just calling out my name, I stepped into the room and closed the door and got a death glare , I was all excited ready to finally get my new car. She's starts speaking to my husband like "this is your loan right" and I said "no it's mine"She rolled her eyes and continued to speak to my husband instead, he went on his phone and told her "speak to her , this is her loan." She finally started speaking to me asking for my member number and as she's finalizing the paperwork she makes a comment "it smells like someone hasn't showered" while rolling her eyes. Me and my husband looked at eachother like "wow". Anyway I'm just ready to finalize this loan to just get away from this miserable women. After 2 min of silence and her typing she finally speaks and says a sarcastic "sorry" (with a smirk.) "Your loan can't be approved cause we do not work with that dealer"I called the dealer and he was confused cause he always works with DCU. She kicked us out and told us bye anyway and then I CALLED DCU and I had to receive the help from someone OVER THE PHONE instead (YES They work with the dealer I guess the women just really didn't want to help me). Not sure what her problem was towards me and my husband from the moment we stepped in but I hated every second of it. Never have I felt so small and disrespected.
A C: I went into this bank on 3/2/2023 on shrewsbury st in worcester Ma to speak with someone about a huge investment (mind you I’ve banked with them for over 10 yrs) As I was waiting in the lobby I over heard an elderly gentleman in the private room with a teller (who seemed to not be having the greatest day or was fed up) and the teller was speaking about his bank info and how much he had in his account with the door wide open for all to hear. I thought that was quite odd. But as soon as I was called, I proceeded to the room I was called too and tried to shut the door and was told not too. I politely said ill come back at another time when I'm allowed my privacy to my money and my concerns. Hoping for just a bad day in the office. because I do not feel confident leaving my money somewhere that doesn't offer privacy for your concerns.

David Webb: They’re amazing.After realizing that most credit unions overdraft fees are the same as banks at $30 or $35 and DCU is $5, I gave them a chance. That was about three years ago, I’ve now moved all my accounts here.They’ve been fantastic, and every teller seems to be efficient and has clearly been given the tools to do their jobs quickly. Things like getting a bank check which used to be $8 and sometimes up to 15 minutes at Rockland Trust are now 45 second transactions. I’m consistently impressed with DCU and wish I had switched to them five years earlier.

Elisha Marie: I’m so disturbed at the lack of professionalism by “management “ at this bank.I brought necessary documents after being instructed over the phone what I needed to open an account for my minor son who is disabled.When I arrived I was told to bring another document that I was not informed I needed.I live out of Worcester and this is during rush hour mind you.So I drove back home and got the document the associate told me I needed.Once again I was told I need a document from the courthouse stating this is my child!I was frustrated when the associate who was running back and forth from me to the “manager” and asking for me what papers I needed at the courthouse he yelled at her from his offices “HOW DO I KNOW WE DONT DEAL WITH THAT!”so everyone in the lobby could hear him.Everyone looked at me.So after a few choice words I left and called the courthouse to ask for a particular document and even the lady at family services had no idea what this bank “manager” was talking about.This guy was so rude and arrogant that I will be removing my account and my husbands account ASAP.I will file a complaint first.I went to another bank and got my disabled son an account within the HOUR!And was treated with respect.What a horrible excuse for a manger!Dont go here if you want to go with this bank!

R A: Absolutely atrocious customer service. They launched a new website that aligns with what other banks had 10 years ago and it is full of bugs. You cannot access statements, past check images, and there are issues with checks clearing accounts. The should have left the website built in 1995 that had no functionality of this is what they were going to switch to. Topping it off the branch manager said it was a work in progress fixing the bugs. How about instead you test the site to make sure it works before launching it. I can't believe this bank is still in business. As a customer of almost 15 years I have been wanting to switch for a while due to the poor service and archaic systems. After this incident I finally will and works encourage anyone looking to do business here to look elsewhere.
