trinity riv: Been coming here since a kid! I watched the owners grow jst as much as they watched me grow up.. Almost 40 years! Great service absolutely amazing food! It's about time they retire!. Never seen anyone in the place except for husband and wife. Now kids are in the building which is great! I think they are finally trying to stay home and relax!. Yes u deserve it!. Since the kids have been there the food has tasted different. But the service has been excellent! But the quality has gone a bit down hill.. Almost as if the kids don't want to take over the family business!.

David Mitchell: We got take out for New Years Eve 2022. Called the night before and they took our order with an order number. I thought the cost was very fair for the amount of food we got and the food was Very Good. Great tasting. Rangoons were perfect, everything was good. You can tell its a family business and they were working very hard. Being new years eve, I had to wait about 25 minutes but it was hot and delicious. Our new go to for chinese.

Drew Forsberg: It is decent. The food was served promptly and was hot. My main criticism is that I ordered Szechuan Beef, and it was about 85% vegetables and 15% beef. FLORENCE Chiapulis: The food is the best. We order from them all the time. Last time, I ordered food, I used my credit card, and a few days later, someone withdrew $130.00 from Atwood Bar in Cambridge mass. Happy house was the last place I used my card, so….. I will never use a credit card again, when paying for food there. It’s too bad that they are getting a reputation for stealing credit card numbers, because the food is the best.

Ryan: Food is average. Service is below average. Take-out and delivery only, no dining in. If they don't want to serve you for some reason and you are paying with a card, the transaction will return message "disabled". My order was simple and I was polite. The person at the counter embarrassed me in front of coworkers. There are better restaurants within walking distance. So, I walked one block to a different place and had a very pleasant lunch.

Jon Webster: Vegetarian options: In general the food we received from take-out was terrible!!! The Crab Rangoon's were very commercial in flavor (too sweet) and consistency (too smooth with no pieces of anything in it.) The wrapper for the Rangoon was pre-made commercial junk. The dumplings were 80% dough, and the vegetable delight did not appear very fresh!!! The duck sauce and hot mustard were packaged in small plastic throw away wrappers and tasted terrible also! The place we usually go was not answering their phone so we took a chance. We will never go to the Red Pepper again.

I was the first customer of the day, however.I would give a five star but my meal, though delicious, was pretty basic with just meat and onions. Vegetables would make it feel more complete. Dawn Owen: I wish we lived locally because we sure have had a tough time finding food that tastes like this where we live (SC) The service here is fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive and we really appreciated that. The hot and sour soup was DELICIOUS! We enjoyed the scallion pancakes. My husband had the Hunan Chicken and he was delighted by its flavor and spice level. I had the Beef with scallions, ginger and garlic and loved it. I definitely recommend that you give them a try and next time we're in the area, we'll be sure to enjoy more of their tasty foods 😊

Katherine Qualls: The skinny: One of the best authentic sichuan places you can find in the Boston area.Overall was very impressed by this spot - it sits unassumingly in Worcester away from the hustle and bustle of Boston or Chinatown. But if you're ever in the area and craving chinese food I'd recommend you come here. We ordered a few dishes to share: Dry Braised Pork Intestine w Spicy Sauce in Hot Pot, cumin lamb, tendons in chili, wontons spicy and the sliced fish tofu with spicy sichuan pepper. The favorites were the fish and the tendons - perfect mala spice - just enough to taste the different flavors - without overpowering the dish. Would definitely recommend these. Everything else was absolutely delicious as well. Cumin lamb had a great spice balance and came in a large portion. Wontons spicy were the only item that I was not super impressed by - solid but was flavors were bland compared to our other dishes and a little less juicy than I would have liked.Would I come back: Yes - this will be my go to place for authentic sichuan food when I'm in the area.
