Guitar Center: what do users think?
Dianne Mondor: This place is really not the place too shop ordered a product on 3/12/23. Never received it and could not get any help with a credit because it was damaged and sent everywhere except Ma .No one was able too help us in the right direction .If a product is damaged on your behalf you should credit immediately....We will no longer be ordering anything from here again.Note too buyer's do not order from this Co.One if the worst experiences I have ever had ordering from this store ...Horrible.....
Christopher Pero: These guys are a bunch of hacks, I brought my Kramer in, have it set up so the Floyd rose is floating rather than sitting flush, neither of the sales guys knew anything about it and suggested that it was broken, I overheard one of them say I just throw the guitar out. Will NEVER do business here again, ZZounds is a better option and even on the phone the techs are more helpful than GC
ian hickey: Found what i was looking for. The used selection is usually ok.
Mark Laferriere: Big selection but nothing for the more established player... and the fact that they do not take trade ins anymore is a real bummer... Poor selection of bass guitars.. They apparently don't set their instruments up when they put them on the wall.. every bass I picked up neck you could sail a ship off of it.. Sad.. Only takes a minute to do a quick set up....
Christopher Simpson: It's a guitar center.
Michele Stjacques: Son is drummer. This store is his automatic go to place for his equipment. Sales people very knowledgable to needs helpful and attentive
Nicole R. Case (Nrcase76): My son loves trying out all the guitars drums and pianos before we decide on the one(s) we purchase(d). Great employees that are always eager to help and inspire. Has all the replacements for what instruments need them when we need them. (Guitar strings,. Tech help and support.) Great place just to visit and spend time enjoying the various instruments.
Adam Stewart: One of the worst guitar centers I’ve been in. Avoid! Their website never seems to be accurate on inventory at THIS store. Never again…
Reese Skeean: Amazing teaching from both guitar and drum teachers. I’ve been taking lessons here for a year now I wouldn’t choose a better place.
erick saavedra ruiz: De todo un poco
kali b: i work in a store at the millbury plaza and i have been considering picking up an instrument. i went down to GC and had a really nice visit and interactions with the staff. i was nervous and intimidated going into a store like this not knowing pretty much anything about instruments. i was hoping for a violin to start playing myself and the staff working were extremely helpful and kind and did not make me feel bad. luckily they had what i needed and for a student violin, its very nice! i appreciate the help and especially the guy that found me the violin + the cashier dude who kept me company and made it feel less awkward (:thanks guys 3
Nick DeMarco: Have no issues with the staff, they're good as far as I can see but I'm sure this is a corporate issue. PLEASE hire someone and/or give the staff the proper resources to set up the guitars right . Went in the acoustic room the other day and almost every guitar had really old dead strings. Even the ones that were locked I could tell the strings were old. Also almost every acoustic had some sort of neck or intonation issue. A lot of guitars desperately need truss rod adjustments. Even a couple months back my father was looking at a fender strat and immediately the set up was awful. The b string was raised almost a quarter inch above the rest. Working in retail for most of my life I definitely feel like this is a corporate issue. It's really sad and disappointing to see these instruments get so neglected. Will always shop at Sweetwater from now on
Michael Coleman: A large variety of guitars the staff was very professional and knowledgeable I was visiting from New Hampshire by way of Mississippi.
Edward L: I bought a great sounding Taylor - I'm a happy camper , played Martin's and Taylor's and picked the taylor
Kirklan Doherty: Friendly staff that got me what I asked and knew what I was talking about without any explaining.
Shandog: Great time you get to play everything no hassle, Even bought a guitar.
Ricardo Angomas: Me gusta para adquirir intrumentos musicales
zach parrish: Beyond dissatisfied:I’ve had several abysmal experiences with this store. When I started a band a few years ago, my bass player and I went to the Milbury location to buy him an amp. They had the one in stock that was exactly what he wanted. INSTEAD, the sales person insisted that he buy an amp that was fifty watts less powerful and ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS more expensive. His reasoning? The top of the amplifier reversed and latched to form a handle. Wow…In the market for a quality used electric guitar, I ordered a PRS that, on paper, seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. I ordered it online and had it sent to the Milbury store for pickup. Upon looking at it, the guitar was shipped in a gig bag that was too small for the instrument, (the headstock was sticking out,) and all the pots were scratchy. I barely got any sound when I plugged into an amp. I spoke to the sales rep and he asked me if I paid for their protection plan. When I said I hadn’t, he scoffed and moved on to other consumers. WHY SHOULD I PAY MORE FOR SOMETHING BROKEN THAT I DON’T EVEN OWN?!?!I brought in my SG special to get the pots changed out so I could accommodate passive pickups. After waiting TWO MONTHS, the tech said he couldn’t get four 250k pots from the distribution warehouse. I ordered them on eBay and got them in a couple days. The guitar was THEN modded and returned. Finally, I had an acoustic electric guitar and Thunderbird bass I wanted to sell that were both in pristine condition. (I take very good care of my guitars.) For no discernible reason, they refused claiming they couldn't give me anything for them.Never again. They have screwed more musicians than Napster and Pamela Anderson combined.
Rebly Rebly: Nice store
Stefan Strychar: Long time shopper here, always had great service - but today I walked in, looked around for 20 minutes and left without even being greeted. Two guys on the floor, one was unpacking boxes and checking out a customer and the other dude didn't look up from his phone the entire time. No eye contact from either one. Shame.
Joe Blu: Check in for their used gear they have great pieces sometimes
