After learning of the investigations revealing deplorable conditions new litters were forced into, I cannot blame her in the slightest.She also had a hernia that they did not disclose to us. Due to the shape and angle of her tail, we were also suspicious they may have docked her tail as well. None of these things were mentioned verbally or in written documentation.Working in the veterinary field and assisting alongside vets who work with honest and reliable breeders, I am horrified and ashamed of this puppy mill. Sophia Sun: Just share my own experience with this breeder, we put a deposit in Jan 2021 to get a light color cobberdog (we specified the color we prefer in our agreement) given my children have been begging for so long to get a dog, and they patiently waited for a year until the begining of 2022 and we are on the list of getting our dream dog, we made a visit and expressed our preferred color, and eventually we got assigned a puppy that is not the color my children wanted, the answer from the breeder is she will have to assign the dog to those with less experience and special needs first (not sure if this group is paying the same price as us) , it's obviously not what she claimed that she will assign the puppy base on personailty match, and then the rest litter will go to us, we can wait for the next litter if we want a different color than what she assigned two month later as she mentioned she will have the color we wanted in that litter. Despite the anxious and stocking up for the puppy weekly, my children decided to wait for two more month. I called according to the timeline as told, and the answer is "this litter is claimed, and you have wait for the next month litter". Waited ago with enough patience, I called a month later and the response is " are you on the list, have you paid deposit?". We paid the entire $3000 in full when we made the first visit and I dont see any slim chance this breeder will remember us and give us the puppy. So I ask for a refund and we need to find a puppy somewhere else, and this time the owner is quite decisive to give us refund while keep our deposit of around $450.This is my experience with this breeder, I would like to share this story just in case to not your children getting so disappointed. We end up getting a puppy from somewhere else and this puppy turns out to be a perfect fit to our family with adodrable personality.
