Worcester Music Academy: what do users think?
Yuanfei Bellido: My daughter started online learning with Rachel since last year. It’s in the middle of pandemic and online is the only option. However, Rachel made it really interesting and fun for her. My daughter said that if one day she has to go to Mars, she will take me, daddy and Rachel with her. :D Sarah is also very nice and responsive. Hope we can meet in real classroom soon.
Sanjisha Sood: My daughter joined Worcester Music Academy virtually. I cannot believe how connected she is to her teacher Rachel without even visiting the academy once. Sarah had been so helpful in understanding her interests and guiding us in the right direction when we started. I am extremely happy with the progress my daughter has made just in a couple of months.
Kate Parsons: We moved to Worcester in the middle of the pandemic. It was important to my ten year old to be able to continue his bass lessons. We found Worcester Music Academy online and reached out to Sarah for more information. She was (and always is) so responsive. We set up a virtual lesson with Eric and haven’t looked back. I was worried about starting lessons in a new place virtually, but it has been fantastic. The communication from both Eric and Sarah is clear and prompt and so helpful. Eric is patient and attentive and goes above and beyond to make sure my son stays engaged and enjoys his practice. Given how great the virtual experience has been, I can only imagine how wonderful the in person experience will be!
Pei Lo: I’m having a great learning experience with Worcester Music Academy. As an adult student, it is very hard to learn music as we have so many things going on with our lives. I am currently learning the flute with Sarah. Sarah is very nice and friendly, she first spent a lot of time learning about my music background, concerns, goals, and music books I have. Then looked my video of me playing the flute, and made a learning plan for me. Sarah is very passionate and enthusiastic about flute playing and teaching. She is very knowledgeable and her lessons are fun; it is a no stress learning environment. After a few classes, I am so happy that my sound and playing improved so much! From my personal experience, Worcester Music Academy is the right place to start, or improve, on your or your children’s music learning journey!
Teresa Zash: Our son has been working with Derid for three years. His skill level has blossomed -- and he looks forward to every virtual session. He cannot wait to get back to in person lessons, but Derid and WMA have done a great job navigating the pandemic.
Kermit DaFrog: It is the perfect place to find your talent.
Gil Family: The WMA is a great place to learn and nurture your love/interest in music. Our son has been taking violin lessons for 3 years now and we love the school, the staff and his teacher. He is challenged and yet listened to. Sarah is super friendly yet very professional. Yulia, his violin teacher, is caring and yet challenges him in all the right ways. We highly recommend this school to anyone looking to study music, you won't regret the experience.
Efrain: The Worcester Music Academy is GREAT! Sarah is super nice! I had the opportunity to attend the open-house event. I knew WMA is where I could learn more about music. I ended up registering to attend classes with Eric, who is awesome, very experienced in music and good at making sure you understand what is being taught. Lots of positive energy by the feel of the atmosphere and the passion for music that WMA exudes. There are people involved who you sincerely feel like they want to help you succeed in learning about music and what it takes to write a good song. Highly recommend WMA for those who have some sort of passion for music. Great school, great energy, great people.
Lisa Lyn: We love everything about this music school. Nestled in the city of Worcester in a beautiful turn of the century brown stone this school has charm and immediately inspires creativity and reflects an appreciation for the arts. the owner and director of the school, Sarah, is very easy to work with, organized and is always quick to respond to calls and emails. My son's teacher is fun and encouraging and with just 6 months of piano he enjoys playing and has gained confidence. A gem of a music school.

Pakachoag Music School - Worcester: what do users think?
Jennifer Adams: My son adored Michael unfortunately 😔 the school did not honor 😢 all the 3 absences due to covid19 with Dr. Notes after a pretty costly season 2 weeks prior to it being over they told me to purchase a smaller guitar what a joke He cannot even play a note nor read any music Total waste of time And money.
Zemei Liu: Words are not enough to express our thanks to Ms. Julie and Pakachoag Music School! Our 3-year-old son loves Ms. Julie and her Music Together classes. Ms. Julie and her classes give our son lots of happiness and he quickly learned how to sing almost every single song, including the songs in Spanish, French, and Russian given that he is not familiar with these languages. Our son regularly asks us when he can go see Ms. Julie to make music together again! We are so much looking forward to see her again during the summer classes!
Linda Davis: The instructors at this music school are top notch! They know their instrument, and more importantly, how to teach kids & teens. Worcester and surrounding towns are fortunate to have this facility. The administration was fantastic in adapting quickly to the pandemic and continuing the lessons. Highly recommend this school if you are looking for any music lessons.
Wa Mulenda Mulenda: Was good
Jacob Walz: Just completed my first week working here as a Admin and Development Assistant. The way they made me go from stranger to part of a family in a mere week was outstanding, I've seen the same experience with students that attend the school. Everywhere you look, you see smiling faces and hear beautiful music from musicians of all places. Love this place!!
EMRAH: Pakachoag music school is a fantastic addition to the Worcester's Music, Art and Culture scene. They have music programs and classes for almost every age starting with infants and toddlers. Everyone member of the faculty staff has incredible credentials and accomplishments. Amazing Music School!
Edson Missaci Bargas: Excellent music school. Qualified and very attentive and dedicated teachers. Directors and assistants who participate in every routine, in an attentive and competent manner. Numerous music and presentation rooms, installed in old Church rooms, with excellent acoustics. I have a 8 year old daughter with violin lessons and I am very satisfied. Super recommend !!!
Elizabeth Bidinger: Pakachoag Music School is a Worcester treasure. An extremely well-run organization that promotes well-rounded musicianship in students. The faculty are not only accomplished musicians but also highly professional, effective instructors. The school provides numerous opportunities for students to perform in front of an audience, in both informal and formal programs. Enrolling our children in Pakachoag Music was one of our best parenting decisions.

Jeff's Drum Lessons: what do users think?
Jo F: Jeff has been teaching my son music for 3 years now, and my son has grown from strength to strength in playing the drums. I cannot recommend a better drum teacher than Jeff. You will be gaurenteed a friendly, professional and efficient drum teacher.I am proud to say that thanks to Jeffs coaching my son can play music from sheets and can read the notes, he knows almost every cord and this would have never been possible if it was not for Jeff's professional, flexible and affordable approach to teaching. Jeffs lessons would never stop at just the lessons, there is a throrough follow up with aftercare and home work. Thanks Jeff for what you have given us, the gift of music.
Gina Sargent: Jeff is such a patient and knowledgeable teacher for my son. Very much recommended!
Trixie: Good teacher, however lack communicating effectively with students. Drum teacher was recently sick didn’t confirm when the next lesson was going ahead. Demanded to be still paid, due to his policy. ( however no contract was signed ) push the blame onto my child about he needs to manage his schedule, none of his students had any issues and he cannot contact all his students. ( there is such thing called what’s app and send group chat) you have no problems booking students in, but have issues in contacting them when your ill to confirm next lesson. When you cancelled the lesson at short notice I weren’t fussed as theses things happen.Admittedly my child could of contacted you, to confirm the next lesson, but you could of contacted him. As we weren’t aware how long your sick for. If you were employed you would of had to notify your works, when to expect you, to come back to work. Just found this very deceitful with the current time we’re in. Just saw this as a way of you making money at my expense. I will pay you the money for the missed lesson you didn’t confirm with my child. After careful consideration he won’t be having any more lessons with yourself.Reason for this was due to him not taken any responsibility or ownership, whenever I said something he didn’t like he would laugh. Found him very childish and rude. Made a comment I’ll let this slide..very professional. ( you ain’t doing me any favours whatsoever) he also gave a scenario if you went to the dentist and no showed they would charge. That’s obvious but this wasn’t the case if the dentist cancelled my appointment due to being ill they would contact you and notify you of the next appointment. They wouldn’t book you an appointment without notifying you and expect you to still turn up and then charge you. They wouldn’t have any customers left. If everyone adapted that attitude they would have no patients/students.
tanya*f: A late starter in my 50s - I always wanted to learn but thought I lacked the co-ordination and was too worried about messing up. I was given a lesson as a Christmas present and by the end was drumming along to a favourite song.Jeff is a great teacher, encouraging and supportive - he’s creative so if I’m having trouble understanding or difficulty grasping a technique - he can always frame it in a way that works for me.Learning the drums has improved my concentration and focus as well as my co-ordination.And I’ve always loved music but I find since taking up the drums I’ve learnt to really listen and even enjoy it a bit more.Thoroughly recommend taking up the drums at any age and this guy is a brilliant tutor.
Amy Spencer: Jeff is an excellent drum teacher, he is really kind and patient. I love my drum lessons! I have ADHD and dyspraxia, with Jeff’s help and support i’ve progressed further than I ever thought would be possible.
Krystal Salazar: Such a great drum teacher!
B Morgan: Jeff has been teaching my 9 year old daughter for about 18 monthsHe strikes a great balance between pushing her to improve and also being understanding of her ageShe enjoys her lessons and I have always found him an all round decent guyAnd boy can he drum
Don Donald: As a late in life starter with no ambition other than enjoying playing the drums at home Jeff is really great at teaching me the rudiments and helping me to obtain a reasonable level of skills to really get the most from my drumming. A really nice guy too. I highly recommend Jeff.
James Furmage: Never used the lessons but upon taking a wrong turn we discovered your sign was the most exciting thing around.
