Alena A: The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and not at all pushy. The salesperson I worked with (Ben? Vin? I can’t remember his name!) was so helpful. I was looking for the simplest treadmill possible as I’m just a walker, and he explained the difference between their least expensive and simplest treadmills. I liked how they are arranged in the store from least to most expensive. I ended up getting a LifeSpan TR2000i, which is cute, compact and surprisingly easy to assemble. Scheduling delivery was super easy and they delivered it - for free - within 24 hours. The delivery guy showed up on time, within the one hour window provided. Love it! Would recommend anyone go here for fitness equipment.

David Byter: I bought a set of used adjustable dumbbells from the store. The salesperson strongly advised me NOT to drop them! I have an uphill driveway. I was distracted by a neighbor when I opened the tailgate. You guessed it! A dumbbell fell 3 feet onto the asphalt! Sure enough, it was broken! All warrantees were voided because the equipment was used. But Fit Equipment worked diligently and kept me informed thru every step.They were able to fix the problem at NO cost to me. I'm very impressed by their customer service and would strongly recommend them to anyone.

I checked out Craig's list and a few other gym equipment stores online and nothing compared to the 4-star reviews that Fit Equipment received.  My mom and I visited the store this past weekend and Justin was very helpful, informative and personable.  The bike was delivered three days later and George and his team did an excellent job with the delivery and install.  I'm not one who usually writes reviews but seeing how seamless and stress free this process was I want to give them a thumbs up and say thank you!

I went home, did my research and the next morning called to purchase. I opted for in home delivery and setup. I had my treadmill delivered and installed within 72 hours!So happy with the experience, the service they used to deliver was helpful as wellI am very happy with the purchase. Had considered buying online and or from a local big box store but the service here was exceptional.

No worth doing businessEven though you see the board of Amazon pricing match ( put by owner) and trying to give business to locals ...don't fall for this.I went on 2/6 to purchase a Schwinn 430 elliptical which priced for $899 at the store. The store has big board saying Amazon pricing match. I showed the person name "Wynn" the that Amazon is selling for $699 the same elliptical. He said come on Monday since owner is not here , we will match it on Monday. 2/8/2021.So today 2/8/2021 I called them back and asked them to do the transaction. But to my surprise they did not honor the Amazon pricing even though they have big board that they will match it.

John Steurer: After visiting numerous stores in search of a stationary bicycle, we visited Fit Equipment in Shrewsbury (Rt 9 heading West). John the manager was extremely informative, and his service was exceptional. We ultimately purchased the bike from Fit Equipment and could not be happier with their service!

Gregory Progin: Went in store with a repair question. Salesperson was nice, but basically told us it was probably not worth repairing and we should buy a new one. Understandable as he was trying to make a sale, but very easy to see through. He did give us an email of a person who would be able to make the repair though, and said that was the best way to reach him. After emailing, I waited over a week for a response which basically just asked for more info. I gave the info, and waited another full week. AT that point I received an email from a different company entirely (JPS Services) saying they received my info and would be able to make the repair - but again asked for more info without setting up an appointment. I gave that info and now it's been almost 3 more weeks without a return email! Tired of waiting endlessly, I looked up other companies in the area and found Atlantic Fitness. They not only responded to my email within an hour, but called me personally to set up a time to come out within 48 hours. Do yourself a favor, call Atlantic and don't waste any time at Fit Equipment or with JPS Services - who apparently don't offer any services at all.

M K C: If I could give ZERO stars I would. I typically avoid this location as much as possible. I had only an hour of free time this week to do an exchange on a defective item purchased on 5/6, gifted on 5/10 and used 2x on 5/15 to break. No manager would come help me or the young girl trying to assist me. She realized an easy solution would be to return it and mark it out as defective. It hadn't been 2 weeks yet and still within the 30 days of purchase. Several managers, after she requested they come talk to me, just barked over the walkie that they can't help and I need to call the manufactures 800 # which was not provided. Disgusting customer service by these managers. I work in healthcare, we are all hurting after the pandemic I get it but enough of the excuses. I train health center staff in customer service. Trust me - their jobs are WAY more difficult than these managers at the Worcester location working for a retail sport chain. It was a very simple decision that each manger has the right to override. They aren't making life and death decisions here. Someone needs to train the managers of this location better in customer relations and support. When I walked out, team members apologized and said the managers suck and I said they SURE DO. Disgraceful and this corporation should be ashamed that their staff and customers do not feel supported but their "top players". I will never go back to this location and will make the time to drive 40 min to Northborough or Millbury where they are EXCEPTIONAL EVERY GOD DAMN TIME. I will also continue to share the horrible performance these managers continue to give year in and year out (I have had issues here in the past) with EVERYONE I come into contact with.

We found a great selection of north face hooded sweatshirts and bought two. At the register Michael handled our transaction. Being a scorecard member that doesn’t come in too often, I asked if there were any coupons available that I should search my inbox for. He was extremely helpful and patient as I looked. It’s very refreshing to have a great customer service experience like I did. I never found a coupon that could apply, but I left feeling like I somehow got lucky. The manager Patrick is a great guy and his customer service skills are awesome! He is not just looking to make a sale, he wants the customers to have the right equipment and makes an effort to ensure that they do. He helped me try different types of equipment and different brands for each type. I never felt any pressure to make any decision in a rush or to make a purchase. Patrick spent a lot of time researching specs for each equipment and shared the details and the differences with me. He provided his unbiased advice about the benefits and pricing along the way which helped me a lot to make a decision. I wish I could rate the store and Patrick more than 5 stars and I highly recommend him. His customer service skills are top notch!
