Randy Hartness: They didn’t ask any of the questions they should have: such as; is the chimney outside or inside as the outside chimney won’t have enough draft for a pilot light. It would have saved me from buying another unit with an automatic starter. They didn’t have a gas licensed person to connect it up to the gas line either; not even a reference for one. When I discovered i needed to change over to an ignition starter, they couldn’t direct me to a professional. Very disappointed in their level of caring outside of selling me $3500 worth of products. I’ll find somebody else for the right unit.
Brie Minarik: Mike & Roy just finished installing my new fireplace. They were incredibly nice and efficient. The install looks great and they wore their safety gear while doing the install. Overall it was a great experience, they really made me feel like they care about the customer and our experience.Karen and Norm were also great with the sale and figuring out the specs for which system would work for my home.Hoping the next steps also go this smoothly (getting the plumber out to connect the gas line and then the final start up) because I am excited to fire this thing up! :-)

Aram Hazerjian: I wish I could honestly give a great review but it would not be truthful. I bought my pellet stove from Enchanted Fireside about 15 years ago. Whenever I needed information or parts, the available staff was knowledgeable and eager to help me. However my last encounter a few weeks ago was nothing like I would have expected. I needed parts for my Quadra Fire pellet stove and I also need some advice in installing the parts correctly. Neither on the phone nor physically asking the salespeople at the store, could anyone give me any information. All they would say to my questions was "I don't know... I don't know". They were not even willing to have a tech person contact me later to get my questions answered. Basically a bunch of sales people with little knowledge of the products they sell and not willing to satisfy the customer. This behavior was never the case in prior visits to the store over the years. I was very disappointed and now Enchanted Fireside will not be my first place for parts/advice.Enchanted Fireside... you have to do much better...

John Lloyd: We had a gas fireplace installed in 2021. Our experience with the sales team, the final installation team and our satisfaction with the product would rate 5 stars. In between was a rough road, which knocked the rating down. The staff that worked with us to prep for the installation could be very arrogant at times and had little patience for helping us navigate a complicated process (inspections, plumbing, permitting). They really make you feel like they are doing you a favor by taking your money. We also have never received any follow-up communication to check on the final installation. I guess they assume everything is good if they do not hear complaints from us. It's too bad, we love our fireplace and it would have taken very little effort to make this a 5-star experience.

James Hilton: We originally put a $2500 deposit on a pellet stove on 10/2/21. They came out to inspect our chimney on 10/8. Received an email from them on 10/20 saying they could not do the install. Pointed out to them where their installer was incorrect on his assessment. They agreed to send another person out, did not receive another call until 10/26 indicating they would be out on 11/1. They were supposed to be here by 4 PM. No one showed. Got a call @ 4:55 PM indicating they could not make it that day. Indicated my displeasure, and the person I was speaking to actually LAUGHED at me. Waiting to hear back from the owners. If this is the way they do business I have zero interest in dealing with this company.

Thomas Lee: I visited Enchanted Fireside over the weekend looking for a replacement clamp for my fireplace door. The sales man on the floor was helpful in asking both his sales and service colleagues to see if they recognized the part and how I would be able to get my hands on one or place an order for it. I don't recall the serviceman's name, I believe it was Mike or Jay, told me to hold on for a second while I waited on the showroom. He came back with a rigged clamp with some spare parts he had that matched the sample clamp I came in with. I asked him, "What do I owe you? and he said, "Nothing, just spread the good word." Thank you again for taking the extra effort to meet my needs and will always spread the good word.

D T: Visited establishment in July 2019. Female staff member was rude and demeaning. She interrupted me while with the salesperson, Norman, who was helping me. I believe her name was Karen, and she seemed to be a co-owner.After I inquired Norman about a particular model, this woman told me there is limited stock on display and, in the same breath, asked me if there was another model I wanted to look at it.My thought was, if the stock on display is so limited, how can she ask to show me what I want, when it may not be on display? I had already asked to see my first and only choice, and it wasn't displayed. Furthermore, if I was interested another model in the magazine, how would I know if it was on display? As I thought this, the woman had an impatient, exasperated look on her face. As if the 10 seconds it took me to think about another option was too much for her to bear! This woman then went on to say she didn't have time, and left. Her demeanor was abrupt, mean, and downright offensive!Additionally, the gas fireplaces on display looked cheap/flimsy. That made me hesitant to order something I hadn't personally viewed.The only saving Grace here was Norman, the man who had been assisting me. He was very accommodating, patient, and kind.

Nicholas Filatov: Recently had The Stove Place come out to clean our Pellet Stove. The cleaning plus a new ignitor came to $500.00... The cleaning alone was 325, which is way above average. The replacement parts came to $165.00, and after some research online, they are $50.00 combined. I'm all for running a business, but I feel ripped off. We will find another business in the area to service our stove moving forward.

Kevin: Worst customer service ever. Spent approximately $6,000.00 on a Harman pellet stove. The installation crew was fine, but when I express my dislike with the way they attached the pipe to the flue from the stove, Craig , the owner said that’s the way he would install it at his house. After my wife saw the angled piping, she was very upset. I went back the following day to the stove pipe to see if they could change the angle. Craig’s brother was very rude and informed me I would have to pay for a few more parts (which I agreed to do) but that I would have to pay $225.00 for labor ! I just paid $775.00 the day before for labor. I would never ever buy another product from them and have never been treated worse. What ever happened to the customer is always right?Just had my contractor fix the angle on the stove. When he took the pipe apart, he discovered the stove place install crew had punctured the pipe and sealed it with silicone The stove place install crew tried to hide it from me. No wonder why smoke was coming from the pipe!!! This guys are ridiculous!!

Sherry Higgins: Was very disappointed with them I bought my stove there , I was having issues with almost a house fire because of it and the fire department came out, had somebody come out and charge me about $195 for the service call, and then an additional 160 to fix something that ended up not being the problem 😰ended up with the fire department coming out after that charge with almost another house fire 😩They told me that they would come back again and charge me just $100 instead of 195 for the first hour which is BS!!!! There should not have been a charge when the first time didn’t fix the issue it should’ve been a free service call !!! I argued that I wanted half my money back at least, they did do that after I said I was going to go to consumer affairs and channel 5 😩I won’t go there again I work for a company and we would certainly make sure everything is right without the second charge no problem👍 I guess that’s why we have no bad reviews😈

Judith Sawdon: 'Client Service' is not their strong suit. The expectations for their service contract aims high, but the delivery of said service is not in line with standard customer services from any other in-home service contractor. They ask you to do their job; in order to know when they are coming, you have to call and find out what time they decided for you.Don't be surprised when they tell you that their service tech will arrive and your 'window' will be from 2-8pm. Just like cable TV technicians, who promise service and then make you run after them or wait hours at home to get it. This has been the case for at least 5 years. Please choose wisely, you can't change companies for service as this is a "closed" system with installation and services tied together forever.
