Lenny Beatty: This is the first negative review I have ever written and I wouldn't have written it if West End Firewood got back to me over the past two weeks. Initially, the price of the chord of wood was $350 which seemed like a lot but I was willing to pay. When I got the call that it was ready for delivery I was told the price was now $375. An additional $25 for delivery was added because I was their only customer for the day and they don't like to leave the yard without 2 chord. What? I'm being penalized for being your only customer? Then the woman said, you also live in Douglas. I said, "I live 6 miles away". She said, "yes but some people in Douglas live on the Connecticut line". (But I don't). I still didn't want to stick them with the chord so I had it delivered. When I started to stack the wood, I quickly realized probably 20% was scrap wood. I sent them a picture that I wish I could share in this review. I can use some for kindling but there was so much I wasn't sure what to do with it. In fact, it's still sitting in my driveway because I don't want to throw it away. It's splinters and 6" pieces. I'm the last person to complain. I understand you have to make a living but I'm very disappointed.

Reymond Lora: Hard to find gotta make the first left across from west end golf club. Drive straight up the hill and u gonna find it. The loading area its a steep reverse. Alot of wood everywhere. Its okay place.

Tess Barbato: Steven and his crew were great to work with. He’s always quick to respond and assess the job. His crew is hard working and get it done in great time. We’ve had him do 2 jobs so far, the last time was after a storm. He noticed a fallen tree that was hanging over the power lines. Instead of just taking the tree down he suggested we call the power company and have them take care of it at no cost to us. We really appreciated him suggesting it since it saved us money to his own detriment. An honest and reputable company.
