Not sure how to measure the course in terms of difficulty and terrain but I enjoyed my first visit.Getting on the course was easy and service was great. Mika Potato: I went to the golf course on Friday and It was as busy as usual and I was with a friend and we got in trouble for no reason. I’ve been going there on walks and rides and Ive never been yelled at till today. I am never going back to that awful place.
Pepe romeo: Had a 5 o’clock tee time on wednesday may 25th. Had to leave at 635 because we only got 3 Holes in. we tried to call the clubhouse to see if a Ranger could pick up the pace of play because there were three groups waiting on every Teebox. No one answered because the clubhouse closed. When returning the carts, talked to a employee of the golf course. He seemed uninterested and said that it was league night. Either way three holes in an hour and a half is outrageous.If it’s league night then why take teetimes and take our money if it’s a 4.5 hour pace of play for nine holes.

Cheryl Redmond: I went there on Saturday for a baby shower. The hall was beautiful and set up perfect. My only complaint is the food . The macaroni they served was hard and cold and for all the money that was spent on the food you would think at the very least that the food would be hot!!!! We all had a beautiful day regardless .

Was told they would call the cops, but the GM had an hour talk with the other party involved and the GM decided he liked the grounds guy better. Benise Donahue: This is the place for serious practice, incredible lessons, or hanging out and playing with friends. The PGA professional coaching is AMAZING. My coach Dan Dempsey has increased my skill, confidence, and distance- I don’t recognize the player I was a year ago.

When I was planning my boyfriend's surprise birthday party he was responsive, helpful, and accommodating to all my questions as I am not a golfer. He was there when we arrived, his staff was FABULOUS, service was great, and the party was a hit! He even emailed asking for a picture to put up on the screens to surprise my boyfriend wishing him a happy birthday! Thank you so much to the entire X-golf team!! We will certainly be back and I can't recommend them enough!!

Greg Cesar: A great new spot for some fun! I was strolling by on my lunch break and saw they were open. I went in and the gentleman running the place were fantastic. They let me take a few trial swings and I loved it so much I booked 30 minutes right there. I will definitely be going back. Its a great hangout for lunch, night out with friends or some weekend fun!
Shane Lange: I've played two other virtual facilities and enjoyed them but this technology is the best. Had very few instances of the ball not sensing and allowed for the most realistic feel of play. Great layout and great service from the bar.

John Drew: Returned to Wachusett CC for the first time in over 15 years. Best condition of any public course I have played this season. The greens, fairways, and tees were impeccable. No sign of a drought here. This Donald Ross gem is worth the drive. The pro shop staff were very professional & friendly. Can't wait to play it again.

Patrick McKenna: Greens rolled true, a challenging course, but many opportunities to score if you hit well placed shots. This is a gem from Donald Ross, and one of the best lesser known public courses in Massachusetts. Staff was great, very inviting and interested in how you played. Other golfers were nice and wanted to hear about your round. Only ran into one rude group. Pace of play for 18 is right around 4 hours. 45 min from Boston, I would recommend it my fiancé and I have played 32 courses in Mass and this ranks in the top 5. I certainly will be back.

Vatcher House: Fantastic Ross gem. Probably the best public course I’ll play this year. Played last two weekends. Conditions were almost perfect. All the Ross signatures here. Chocolate drop mounding with fescue, cross bunkers, difficult short par 4’s, and immaculate fast sloping greens with run-offs and false fronts. They take really great care of this course. My only qualm was the inconsistent condition of the bunkers. Some raked, some not, some hard with little sand, some soft with more sand. Very small issue for something you are supposed to avoid anyway. Had no issue with pace of play.

I said “this happens all the time you should update the website so customers don’t drive over here for nothing.” Donnie sarcastically says “yeah ok, sounds like a plan.” Click. Hung up.

Corey Vaillancourt: Tees and greens are in great shape especially for the amount of play the course gets. Just be aware that there are a lot of beginners and less experienced golfers who play here and it can get slow and backed up. Unfortunately we had a 2 hour and 50 minute 9 hole round because of some slow groups that spent way too long looking for their balls or didn’t know when it was time to pick up and move on. If you are looking to move around quickly this may not be the place for you. Layout is pretty straight forward and enjoyable. Gave Pakachoag 5 stars because Kristen and her staff are friendly and very helpful!! Their customer service is exceptional 👍🏼

Tom Hoare: This place used to be half decent, but as the overall condition of the course has gone down, the price has gone up. Most of the tee boxes have a huge hump in the middle and are mostly sand. On top of that, the fairways are very very rough this year. It's still early in the season, but we have had some good weather... will definitely only play here as a last minute option. Which is a shame given it's 6 minutes from my house.

Kyle Madej: A really affordable and decent course, but you need an ATV to get around on the cart paths. That said, I would still play here.
Scott Niemczura: Solid course from what I saw (only played 9 holes) but all in all the course was in good shape, ESPICIALLY considering it's November in Massachusetts. Little wet but then again, it did pour the day before. Greens were soft and receptive. Lots of blind shots but overall fun course.
Diablo Gypsy: Back in the mid 70's our family partially owned LH and lived in the house where the Grand building now stands. I'm sad to see the pool gone but I love what you've done with the property. I played so much I think I was the only 9 yr old to shoot par or under and get a few holes in one. Colin Nosek: I have had nothing but positive experiences at Leicester Country Club in my life. I have played here for over 12 years between tournaments, high school, and weekend rounds. This year, however, has been the most pleasurable. The staff will always meet you with a smile, and the course is the best around for the price. I would highly recommend LCC to everyone looking to have a nice afternoon golfing!
Ryan Bonesio: The course is in real rough shape. Im surprised the carts arent getting damaged from the paths they are supposed to be on. Dont know if they are going through managment changes, but we havent seen Cheryl around and she was the absolute best.

Ignacio Cetrangolo: Golf course is not in the best shape and there are virtually no good paths available for the carts, which aren’t great either. The paths’ asphalt is torn up, wore down, rocks everywhere, making for a bumpy and uncomfortable ride throughout the course. It also gets windy up there. Nevertheless, the prices are good for what you get and makes for having a good time for beginners.

Heather Brown: I’m sorry but this place is a mess. Used to be a pleasure golfing here but it’s a disaster now. Fairways are mostly brown. Womens tee boxes aren’t maintained. We rented a golf cart and all the cart paths are crumbling and super dangerous but walking you have to keep but the huge animal holes dug out everywhere which are rolled ankles waiting to happen. The banquet areas and bathrooms are gross and completely dated. For the price they charge there are so many better courses in the area.

Michelle Olivares: Recently attended a wedding here. Not impressed. Food was ok at best. For a country club, and we've been to many, this was so poorly kept it was an embarrassment. It was so hot. The a/c was not working in all areas and the heat was actually on in the bathroom!! And for one mixed drink and a club soda it was $17. Ridiculous! Next person got a beer and a mixed drink for $12. ????? I would have given this place a negative star if it was available but I gave it 2 because the staff was very good.

Paul Laramee: This place was never great but it has gone even further downhill since I last played it a couple of years ago. It was soaked everywhere with muddy cart marks. The tee boxes and most fairways are a mess. There's no way they should be letting carts out given the recent weather conditions. The worst part is the price - $38 for 9 holes. You can play Pakachoag which is a a much nicer course for $24 for 9 holes with a cart. I see condominiums in the future for this place...
