Bond Sand Gravel & Asphalt: what do users think?
Thomas Therrien: Didn’t strike me as the friendliest people
Robert Puzo: Best place around for dumping any kind of stone, brick, concrete, or cinder blocks! $10 a ton is a phenomenal price!!
Jim Peru: Fantastic operation. None better. 👍👍👍
Katie Lugo: The most rude unhelpful women I have ever had the displeasure of not working with. If you would like to be given minimal direction and then yelled at for trying to figure out what to do, this is your place!
GED Rockstar: I had my septic system replaced for the first time, which naturally left me with a chewed up yard. I asked the septic company where I could get a truckload of screened loam to fill it in before I seeded it and they recommended Bond Sand and Gravel. When I called I spoke with Karen who couldn’t have been sweeter or more helpful, and arranged 2 truckloads to be delivered the very next day. Ya! It was also less than HALF the price of Home Depot so I was delighted!Everything went beautifully with the delivery and I started spreading it immediately, but since it’s only me, it took quite a while. It wasn’t until a few days later that I got to the second load and realized it had been contaminated with asphalt and concrete debris. I was upset, but mostly bracing for a bad experience when I called to let them know there’d been a mistake.I was worried for nothing - I got Karen again who couldn’t have been more gracious and apologetic if she’s tried! She apologized profusely, refunded every penny of my money, figured out how the mistake happened so that it could never happen again, and even sent a truck out here to collect all the debris and remove it from my property. In the end, mistakes happen. What truly defines a company isn’t whether they make mistakes, but whether they handle them well or not. I thought customer service like that was a thing of the past, but Karen was absolutely wonderful. When I called to thank her, she mentioned she’s one of the owners. Not surprising I guess, but this is definitely a company I’ll do business with again and again, and happily recommend to everyone I know!
Gope x: I was denied service and verbally confronted by the secretary and owner at the business due to an unknown individual leaving a poor review. On the date of 20200812, I arrived at Bond sand and Gravel to purchase a truck load of stone for my residence. I had started the project a week earlier when I purchased two truckloads of stone. There was however a small hiccup with the first truckload when some stones began leaking from the tailgate onto the scale. The scale attendant Sadie came out of the office very disgruntled. I, at the time unaware of the spillage wondered what she was yelling and swearing about. Learning quickly I drove back around where I was loaded by the operator and began shovelings out the excess. I made one more trip that evening, now with a tarp to avoid any excess spillage and another very unprofessional experience with Sadie. Fast forward a week and I am sitting in my truck once again on the scale awaiting to place an order for more stone. The scale attendant Sadie, comes out of the office and approaches my driver side window and starts aggressively questioning me about a negative review that someone (unknown to me) had written about their experience. After dealing with her personal interrogation I requested to speak to the manager, I followed Sadie inside to where the "Manager" was. As soon as she had chance, she began to interrogate me on the negative review, citing that the review came that same day I purchased the stone. I explained that I was there for stone and not only did I not write a review, that I was unaware of the review that were so disgruntled about. I asked several times if I could just purchase their product and be on my way, their response over and over again redirected to the negative comment now speaking in circles.Bottom line.. Avoid at all costs as you my be subject to blindsided hostel drama and denied service,

Gary King: Great family run business out in the woods of Massachusetts
Jim Broga: Landscaping stone is what I go there for. Great deal.

The service you receive from the staff is unmatched. The deliveries are always on time and if you decide to self serve, the are always accommodating. Great place to do business with. ALWAYS.

Pandolf-Perkins Company: what do users think?
Lee Kosiewski: The quarry sells crushed stone of various sizes hot asphalt and also has a cement division. They only sell to commercial companies, so dont show up with a pickup truck or a five gallon bucket. There is no showroom or sales people, this is strictly a bulk sale and you need a dump truck to be loadedAs for the Steam ShovelFirst and foremost, if you plan on getting a closer look at this piece of industrial history, do so when the quarry is closed. So usually after 4pm on the weekdays and after 12 noon on Saturday and usually anytime Sunday is good. It's a active business so trucks come in and out quickly. The Thew Lorain 45 Power Steam Shovel is a very cool piece of machinery. The crude operators station is in stark contrast to today's climate controlled and ergonomically designed cabs. Designed in 1885 by a Great Lakes ore boat captain names Richard Thew. The Thew shovels went on to help build railroads, roads, bridges, reservoirs the Panama canal, helped with WWI and WWII clean up efforts,
