Lindsey Bassett: Fairly small parking lot, it fills up fast, carpool if possible. You may have to park at the library or the church across the street if it's full. Once you step inside there is a large lighted eiffel tower in a small area where people take photos, then a few small steps to a room where you can watch them cook. There is a bathroom located to your left just past the first small set of steps. As you head through there's nice french themed decorations. You then pass an area where you can grab coffee or tea while you wait for a table. Continuing past that is another small set of stairs. Then you get to an antique looking desk and put your name in with the hostess. The wait was about 25 minutes for us. There is another bathroom located down a small hallway and up a few stairs to the right of the waiting area. Once seated we were greeted by Paul. He was an excellent server, friendly, attentive but gave us our space to chat without interruption, yet was always right there when we needed him. I ordered crepes with bananas, strawberries, cinnamon butter toppings, and an earl grey hot tea. My mom ordered the quiche of the day (vegetable) and Saratoga sparkling water. Our food arrived fast and was absolutely delicious. When they bring you hot tea it's delivered to you in a French press, (if you've never used one before, which I hadn't until today) you let it steep for 1 minute, then push down the top and pour. They also give you a jar of raw sugar, and a small decanter of milk. The decor in the dining area was beautiful and unique. I appreciated the paintings that were seemed to be intentionally crooked on the walls. Overall we had a wonderful experience and definitely will return. It cost us less than $50 to dine here for phenomenal food, great service and lovely ambiance. Come here, you won't regret it!Parking: Parking is limited, so arrive early to find a spot or anticipate having to park elsewhere and walk a short distance.

Gabby Loment: I literally died and went to heaven. This place is beyond amazing. There was a little bit of a wait but I would wait 10 times as long if I had to just to get a seat at one of these tables. I stumbled Upon This Place by pure accident because two of the other brunch places I went to had over an hour wait. I found this place on Google Maps and I called to see if they had a wait. While they did have a way it was not even a fraction of the weight that other places had. I'm so glad that it did not work out with any of those other places because my God this place is mind blowing. The food is incredible the service is incredible and the atmosphere is so quaint. I will 1000% come back
Samuel Lavoie: Full Price but a fun atmosphere with great quality food. Worth the money. Could be a good date spot but I'm married with two kids so I probably shouldn't be giving dating advice. . .Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lana C: Always hit this spot few times a month! This place is a charm. I love the vibe of the venue. The decor is very creative. They don’t use matching chairs, plates, or cups; which I love and it’s little quirkinesses! Such a fun, funky vibe, delicious food, coffee alone is worth the wait. Truly, truly delicious food, classic homey vibes, and an amazing team! C’est La Vie Bistro has it all and then some for an awesome out of culture French Brunch experience!

Myles Karam: This is without a doubt my favorite brunch spot in Massachusetts. I've come here for years with my friends and the food is always incredibly delicious. The service is fantastic, the people are lovely, and the atmosphere is beautifully homey. Definitely a gem, and I'll never stop coming by when I get the chance.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Eggs Benedict, Creme Brulee French Toast, Les Crepes or Der Wafels, Beignets, Brioche French Toast …More
Daniel Harris: This place was awesome. Delicious food and the staff was insanely friendly. My family will for sure be coming back.
siddanth rai: Amazing food. Nice cute ambiance. They have parking space for around 15-20 cars. I believe they don’t take reservations, but the wait time is a lot over the weekends. We had to wait for at least 30min before we got a table. Loved their coco banana Nutella shake and egg benedict. The staff is super friendly. The service was slow, this again could be because the cafe was packed. I would definitely love to visit it again.

Adam Frank: Such a great restaurant! Very interesting and unique place with a ton of character. “Beautifully disorganized” decor. Staff is wonderful. Super friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious as was the coffee. We got there just before the kitchen closed for the day (be sure to go BEFORE 2:30), but they made sure we could order and did not make us feel rushed at all. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone.
Carol DeRienzo: Excellent as always!Recommended dishes Les Crepes or Der Wafels, Quiche, Gougeres, Croque Monsieur …More
Tim Stout: I'm not a big reviewer, but this place was phe-no-me-nal! I regret not eating here sooner. Absolutely delicious. I'm not a foody, but I do love to eat. I don't know if it's a legit French twist on the eggs benedict, or just culinary creativity - but wow. Zippy home fries too. While I do love a good greasy spoon, this is not one - it's "kicked up a notch" and "off the hook" (to borrow some famed phrases). (parking is in rear)

ewronski: I challenge u to find a better brunch place for a cute date. Some things are pretty good. Most items on the menu are great. I suggest the crème brûlée French toast.

Ariel Sulejmani: We came to the Metro Bistrot after a recommendation by our B+B. So glad we stopped in. Food was absolutely delicious! The chef was so friendly, as was all the staff. A must try!
Cassandre: An absolute TRUE GEM! I lovvvvve The Metro Bistrot! A quaint little hideaway, French Restaurant, right in Southbridge! The place is Very small and not what you'd imagine, but the quality of food is OUT OF THIS WORLD, AMAZING!! I love how you can see the chef right there, cooking in front of you at the main bar, hence smelling the wonderful food while you wait. Everything was so fresh! And you can bring your own own drink! The appetizers already had us drooling, waiting for our main courses. I had the soup of the day (amazing!) and my husband had the ratatouille (sooo good!!).The main courses also did Not disappoint. I had the Fish course. I want to say it was seabass that night. Whatever it was, it was cooked perfecrly and paired so well with white rice and peas. My husband's veal dinner was very tasty too, accompanied with ratatouille, rice and peas. The one thing we did agree on though, was that the veal or veal sauce was a tad bit too salty. Other than that, the food was through the roof, really! We definitely plan to go back since it's right in our neighborhood and is actually high quality food. The atmosphere was very relaxing as well. Pricing makes sense with this kind of quality food. I'm surprised it's not more expensive.
Julie Maki: Excellent food. Excellent service. Limited menu, but enough choices to fit any palette. Try the tasting menu. The chef consults with you to develop your individual menu. BYOB. So grab a great bottle of french wine to compliment your meal.
David Senseman: One of the finest French restaurants I have ever been to - anywhere!
A Lo: Lovely place; service is attentative and food delicious.
Rebecca Tamm Shettler: Had the 5 course tasting and it was incredible. Will definitely be back with friends and family! Came back with the fam, wonderful service and wonderful food!
Ethan Walkerwicz: Absolutely amazing! Traveling for work and ended up here 3 nights in a row. The guy who left the review about them being racist is obviously a scumbag because they treat people based off character.
Nathan Shippee: Fantastic food in a cozy setting
Jean Carlos Witter: This is the most RACIST place I have ever encounter in MA. As soon as I walk in the owner looked at me from head to toe and tried to dismiss me as soon as possible. I asked for a coffee and he didn't even sell it to me. He literally told me they sell that next door (Subway), when I could literally see his espresso machine behind him. They should put a sign in the door so people like me don't have to go in and be embarrassed by the unwelcoming environment. Such a terrible experience, I can't believe there are still places like that.
Hunter Foote: Sure, you can find the same food in France, but the Metro Bistrot saves you the airfare. Everything on and off the menu is fantastic. Jay and M-P are the best. Service and atmosphere are spot on. Order the specials, don't bother looking at the menu.
Ronald Van Orden: If you are looking for a true piece of France in Central MA, then this is your place. The food is unbelievable.
Blerina Tahiraj: The only reason I'm giving 4 starts is that they dont have a good ventilation system. You can see the smock and you smell like everyone's food. Now the food was delicious. It's a good place for a date or bunch of friends when you want to spend some time together .

Irina: I enjoyed the soup of the day as well as the dessert. The main plate (boursin shrimp) was not my favorite. Two comments were made by staff which were unnecessary, making the restaurant atmosphere less enjoyable.Dine in: Yes …More
