Manager moved us to a room not smelling of smoke, same floor. Hallway smelled strongly of smoke. Heard at least one rodent in room wall at night. Stair carpet patched with duct tape, too stained to show original color. On the plus side, everything in the room worked and sheets and towels were clean.

Marge Bonneville: On Tuesday Aug 2nd I had a blow out tire from debris in the road on Rt 190 near Worchester. I got to the side of the road and called AAA who I wanted to come tow me because it was a dangerous place to change a tire and we were traveling and had a full trunk. After I was stopped less than 10 minutes a MA State Police officer stopped and knocked on my window. I told him the problem and that I was waiting for AAA to be towed. He said he could change the tire for me and I said no the trunk was full and it was too dangerous here. He said let me see it. I can get you on the road in a short time and out of here. We went to the trunk and unloaded some things and he was able to pull out our spare tire. He went to his car and got a jack and while I was calling AAA back he had the tire changed in 5 minutes. I could not believe it! I was so worried for his safety with the cars going by so quickly but he didn't hesitate to put himself in harms way as I'm sure he does every day. He then followed us off the highway and to the gas station where he filled the tired with air to the proper pressure and got the location of a tire company where we could purchase a new tire. He could not have been any friendlier or more helpful. We were so grateful to him. I am not going to mention his name here but I hope he reads this and knows how grateful I am for his help. He got an A+++ in my book. Thank you officer for caring and helping when we needed it! We are so grateful!

Bryan Rae: My probation officer issued a warrant for "failing a drug test" for my ADHD prescription medication. I was arrested by Troopers for C5 Sturbridge barracks, and released from court the next morning considering I had a prescription for this medication. They were nothing but professional, kind, courteous, and performed the arrest extremely politely and calmly. They were nothing but nice and sympathetic with both me and my family, especially considering they understood that it was a dumb warrant. They made sure I was fed, given all prescription medication, and always checked up on me. I wish I could say names of troopers that deserve accommodations on here, but that would be inappropriate. But much thanks for the great, professional, courteous police work C5 Sturbridge Barracks
