City of Worcester Overlook Trail Head: what do users think?
Nat: Great little underrated trail in Worcester. Great view at the top, nice up and down hike! Trail is a little confusing at times so watch where you are going.
lisa Dobson: Enjoyable trail. Slippery and steep some places when wet.
Alyssa Collins: Steep climb but worth it for the best skyline view of Worcester! Parking for about 4 cars can be found at the end of Esper Ave, along with a bike rack. Trail took about 2 hours total. Make sure to take a few extra minutes off the beaten trail to find Deed Rock and learn a little about the lands dedication!
John Ritz: A beautiful wooded area with an interesting history. Steep climbs to the ridge from the trailhead.

Coalmine Brook Trailhead also East-West Trailhead: what do users think?
Peter L'Esperance: Cool landmarks, caves, and cliffs
Alyssa Collins: A few weekends ago, I completed the shorter segment of the East-West Trail that went from the top of Lake Quinsig to Bell Pond. The path brings you by Green Hill Park, the golf course, and the Coal Mine Brook. It was about 3.5 miles each way and took me about 3 hours to complete (including a little lunch break at the pond!). Very enjoyable hike on a beautiful afternoon.
Patricia Clark: I enjoyed my adventure on the Eastern part of the trail, but got confused at the intersections on city streets a few times. Better markings on the sidewalks would help. I also ended up in East Park, having somehow miss-read a turn up in Green Hill Park, so I wasn't able to get to the halfway point in one day as I'd hoped because I needed to backtrack. I'm glad I did the East Park sections, as it was really interesting and having lived in Woo my whole life and swum many times in Bell Pond, it was great to finally see what lies on the other side of the pond. But beware the difference between the East Side trail and East/West trail markings.
Katya Maiser: This trailhead is the start of a grand cross-city adventure which I undertook as part of my exploration of local green spaces. In small bits this can be a 1 mile round trip, multiple miles, up to 14 miles one way across the city linking many parks and recreation areas. I did this trail a few times in different ways and it's a true inner city trail (kind of dirty/unkept in spots) but I found wonderful places I've driven by my entire life and didn't know existed.

Cascades Park: what do users think?
Sarah Hanna: We've only ever done the Cascades loop, but it's a great, easy one to do in about an hour with a young kid. You can get pretty close to the waterfall and there's only a small steep part that my 3 year old easily did without help.Dog-friendliness: So many dogs on-leash here! Fun!
Paul Chambers: A rapid steep climb to get to the top, but you can see the cascade from the road. Very enjoyable hike.
Kathy McLeod: I am in this park daily. Different trails to explore!
Alexander “LEX” Smith: 1. Hidden Gem in WorCesTer.2. Pet Friendly ?3. Beautiful waterfall for pictures.4. 14 miles worth of Trails
jay VB: Great trails.
Tyler Farland: Scenic and quiet most of the time
Lindsay LeBoeuf: Start our short hike from the lot near Cascade Waters and the blue trail. The hill at the beginning was incredibly steep for the first few minutes then leveled out for majority of the rest of the hike. The yellow trail was really rocky so pay attention when walking. My partner enjoyed the hike but I likely would not return. Bugs were minimal and there was plenty of shade
Brian Kilroy: Nice waterfalls. Must be awesome during the spring runoff.
James Pearson: Lots of trails, waterfall is right by the road.
Michelle H: Could not figure out where to park for this place, very disappointed. Also found it odd that the big cascade (visible from the street) was practically dry in early June.
Reza T. Mousavian: A kind of private area! Not popular.
Carl Travers: Cool place to hike
Josh Patrick: Very nice park. Not too busy when we went. Decent amount of trail options. Trail markings do need to be updated. Download the trail maps to your phone!
Desiree Vallejo: Es un lugar hermoso
Joey Rugar: Love this hike. Advice to pet owners. Tics are all near the waterfall. Trails not as bad. Great place for a quick family hike ..
Paul Gardner: I went hiking and mountain biking here so many times as a kid. Great hill climbs and challenging trails to bike but lots of fun!
Lisa Dobson: Forgot my phone for pics. Park as great as always. Nice amount of water flowing over ricks today. Beautiful sunny day with colorful fall foliage.
Madison Friend: Absolutely beautiful when the cascades are, well...cascadimg. Just make sure to check it out after a day or two of rain and not during a dry spell (you'll be sorely disappointed if there's no water to be seen when you arrive!)
Sue Pelland: Lovely woodland hike.
Vivian Niedzinski: Lovely park. It's very clean with lots of trails that are marked by a colored dot.Be prepared for a long (2 mile +) walk. The only drawback is no garbage can.
Valerie Santoro: Great hidden trails in Worcester, dog friendly.

Jeanette P.: Picturesque!!
Saad: The drive there was definitely fun in the snow. Although it was pretty much frozen, I was able to see the small water fall coming from the hill and rocks. They did have parking their as well. Would highly recommend to come here in the spring, summer or fall season for the falls. But I was just looking for a small driving gateway and this was cool to drive to. Nothing special but I expect it to be better when the season changes.
Brianna peterson: Nice 3 mile walk. Awesome place to bring dogs. A little muddy so wear proper shoes.
Candice Seplow: Really nice place to walk around. My 22 month old loved it here.

Peter Van Voorhis: Followed directions and trailhead is on busy street with no parking. You need to walk up from some other location to access.
Connie Mashock: Couldn't find a parking area but the hiking was great
Evan Plante: Pleasant woodland walk, not arduous. We (an elderly couple) took our time and did the loop in under an hour.
Katya Maiser: This is a very nice short trail, through wetlands and woods. Absolutely beautiful & full of wildlife. This is a loop trail under 1 mile.

Kettle Brook Trailhead: what do users think?
Michelle Meyer: Interesting walking trail that includes the remnants of the old mill. Dogs and I had a good time.
Alyssa Collins: Not super well marked but it’s generally a very easy and well established trail to follow. I parked in one of the visitor spots at the KettleBrook apartment. Took me about an hour to walk the trail and back. Lovely foot bridges and a super cool old stone dam along the river walk
Katya Maiser: This is a very easy hike with some short steep spots. Around 3 mi round trip (out/back same trail) from the Kettlebrook lofts parking area. There is a beautiful historic dam in the woods not far from the athletic fields. Please pack out everything you bring in. This natural area is not maintained for recreation so it's everyone's duty to leave it better than they found it.

Donker Farm Trailhead: what do users think?
Evan Plante: This was the terminus for a two and a half hour linear hike from the Holbrook Forest entrance on Salisbury St in Holden. We are a septuagenarian couple who found the trail adequately marked and not too difficult.
Jason Ogasian: Very muddy, small parking area. Dogs are not allowed on the trail behind the farm.
Peter Van Voorhis: Great hike him Worcester. Well marked trails. Highly recommend!
Patricia Clark: Such a nice visit with the grandkids. Friendly staff. 5 minutes from Tatnuck Square. Nice trails to the waterfall St Cook's Pond.
Alyssa Collins: A great hike with some farm animal sightings and trickling rivers. Took me about 2 hours total to go in and out while following the Blue Triangle trail. There was parking for about 4-5 cars at both the Donker Farm Trailhead and the Holbrook Forest entrance.
Lia B.: Great hiking for all ages. There's a quick running dam and a small pond. Swimmimg not allowed-no lifeguard. Too bad that people are discouraged from seeing the sheep along the way.
Greta Telo: Trails were horrible and absolutely messy. Don't waste your time.
Lance37a: Some of the trails are very hard to see at times, overall a good experience.
Lance M: The trails are hard to see at times, the maintenance could be a little bit better but still a good hike.
Stephen Gallo: Interesting
Ronald Guenette Sr.: Love hiking new trails
Laurel Parsons: Well maintained, beautiful trails.
Dorri Donker-Adema: Wonderful peacefull place in Worcester. A sanction for birds and other wildlife. Nice hiking paths. An outdoor feeling in town!
Bruce: Great time
gordon larrivee: Getting better, work continues on creating a parking lot. Thanks to Greater Worcester Land Trust
Matt S: Nice trail maintained by the conservation trust

Nick's Woods Trailhead: what do users think?
Evan Pasenello: Fun little hike!
Joyce: Nice clean trail, nice walk,.dogs allowed, nice brook. Watch out for wet areas in Winter.
Preston Peterson: Nice piece full walk with my dog beautiful trail to enjoy
Peter Toto: We use to call this Area MOODY'S the woods were a local teen hangout 60's an 70's . Moody St , The Moody family which the road is named after.
Dot Shea: Nick's Woods is on Grove St. Worcester MA just before the Holden MA sign. We parked across the street on one of the side streets. The trails are beautiful and there is a stream that you can follow. It is secluded and on a Wednesday there was no one else there.
S S: Lived so close my younger years an never knew it existed!!!!....at least I can enjoy with my children! 😛 Awesome!!
Katya Maiser: I've driven by this sign on Grove Street for many many years and decided it was time to check it out. The best access to the property is from the end of the poorly maintained dead end road called Smith Lane off Holden Street just south of the intersection with Brattle Street. It is approximately 2 to 3 mi round trip with a few options for side trails and they are relatively well marked. There is an old dam and a brook and a large boulder field on the named Glacial Erratic Trail. You can walk up to Grove Street, it is the side of a rather large hill.

Cook's Woods Trailhead: what do users think?
Caio Gutierres: Short and nice hike, no one usually is there and parking for maybe 5 cars.
Miz Frizzle: Take your truck and not your sedan for this. Go down Dawson all the way to the magical path into the trees, and keep going til you see the sign. This is a beautiful and quiet piece of conservation land with lots of trails. Never seen more than one other person here. I've been here three times to do Crystal Pond Loop (the short trail marked in red at the entrance on the map). It's short enough that my 3 year old and I did the loop in about 45 minutes. The end of this path isn't as well marked as the beginning if you begin on the pond side (which is easier), but if you turn right to begin the loop up the hill it's very clear. Trails are a bit rough but very very clean - I saw zero trash. Wear bugspray because there are thousands of mosquitoes. Foot traffic and bicycles only.
