Scott Brenham: I decided to stop back the latina girl seemed nice and conversational didn't get her name. After stopping back after a year I can see this coffee shop scheme has ran its course. Gluten free matcha strawberry muffin was horrible. Could not finish. All regular snacks are a thaw and bake. The coffee was low quality seemed generic.The owner David Fulerton would be better off selling his whole business to someone that would put more effort. I can see new development around clark university coming most of the businesses would end shutting down.

The coffee is amazing and I hope I'm not blowing up a secret but the plain iced coffee has been an awesome drip of the high grade featured coffee every time I've been there.Parking: Side street to the left right after the shop.

David Williams: My first enjoyable specialty caffeinated beverage. I ordered the special, Spiced white mocha pumpkin hot latte. I took my first sip outside the shop in the morning sun and couldn’t believe my tastebuds. Telling myself that this was the best coffee drink I’ve ever had. I started to fantasize about trying to make it at home. I later realized that there was a major barrier to access because of the cost of a home espresso machine. So I returned to Acoustic Java two more times to taste this wonderful drink but both times they did not have milk or pumpkin flavor. I was greatly disappointed. This reminded me of the time my local mcdonald’s ran out of burger patties. Who goes to a coffee shop in the fall, expecting to order a pumpkin coffee? I think everyone does. Tim Cooley: This is the North store near Clark University. I've reviewed the southern one and they are both excellent. This one is smaller with a definite college vibe. Coffee was great, muffins were tasty, service was quick and friendly. Wi-Fi is solid and this is a good place to catch up on email, need, etc. Note, due to the size the tables are not large so their southern store would be better for a gathering of more than 3 people. Highly recommend!

Julie: While attending my daughter's cheer event at the DCU Arena, a few of her teammates wanted to go to Starbucks. The girls got bagels, refresher drinks, etc. This Starbucks only had 2 employees & they were extremely busy so they did a great job. They were able to still complete all orders in a timely fashion & the kifs were happy. Oh, they were out of strawberries which is why I gave them 4-stars.

I awarded only 4 stars simply because there were no strawberry refresher drinks available & the dining area had very full trash cans. I assume this Starbucks is struggling to find Employees because Uno Pizzeria, which is located on the same street is without adequate employees!

Kay Yo: I love myself a good ole locally owned and run coffee shop. I'd never been *here* before but I promise to return whenever I'm in the area. Had myself their little "egg bowl" with kale, spinach, tomatoes, cheese (hold the cheese), and add bacon. It. Was. So. Good!!! But....more importantly, the service was amazing. Just outstanding. I was also very very impressed with the fact that if you pay w a card, they don't spin the screen for a "tip" option. I will always tip, and the better the service I receive, the better I tip. We paid with a card and tipped in cash, AMAZING food (that egg bowl!!! sooooo good), great coffee and OUTSTANDING service!

Link: Went in, wanted to get hired. Said they would hire me. I did every step I could. I am barista certified. Went in a few times and was told yes yes we’re going to hire you and then they never got back to me. Every time I’ve gone here people have been extremely rude to me over nothing. Not to mention I don’t feel like waiting 30 minutes for a $5 drink. Worst Starbucks around!

Michael Clark: The place was extremely busy but the drinks were served quickly. Drinks were perfect and the location (including the bathrooms) was very clean. Staff were very pleasant even though they were busy. They handled it well and appeared to work well together. It was a great place to have one last get together with our WPI student daughter before we traveled back to Maryland.
