Future Jeeley (Future): I've had an awful time with Dr. Honig recently and have had to start looking for a new PCP. The last appointment I gave him the paperwork he was supposed to fill out for my disability and he said he would never fill it out, that he would only give them my records from a release form in a harsh tone. He looked like he was sickly and aging fast. Additionally, He was prescribing me 0.5mg of clonazepam for almost a year and then randomly decides to stop the medication because he wanted me to get it through my primary care. He didn't give me any warning and I need it for Social Anxiety. I called the prescription refill line and never received a call back until after the office was closed at 503pm and the nurse told me Dr Honig had said that he's no longer prescribing it because he wants a psychiatrist to do it instead and if I'm having a panic attack, which I was, to go to the emergency room. I ended up going to the ER that night because I could barely breathe, my face was all red, blood pressure through the roof, couldn't stop blinking my eyes, couldn't think or speak normally, and was having spasms in my neck. They felt bad that a doctor would actually treat a patient this way and gave me a dose of my prescription and sent me on my way.Following up the next day with my PCP, I explained how I was in the ER last night and all my symptoms. Apparently Dr. Honig could care less because he said he still wouldn't prescribe it, then around 4pm he says he will give me one more month renewal so that I would have my medication to find a new psychiatrist. 20 min later I get a call saying he won't do it.This guy is terrible, uncaring, and frankly I believe he should've retired years ago. Doesn't care that I had to go to the ER or about anything of what he's doing to me. Now I have to find a new PCP
