Wendi Pohs: Relocating from Seattle, we bought our home in Stow sight unseen since we were eager to be closer to family. Unfortunately the house needed far more work than we'd imagined, so we researched remodeling services companies and settled on Core. We are extremely happy that we did. Corey and his team were professional from start to finish. They modernized both our upstairs bathrooms, added a beautiful bonus room upstairs, and created an efficient and aesthetic laundry room. At the same time, they built us a brand new four season room, replacing our deck outside.During the design stage, Heather and the team actively listened to our requirements and to our nice-to-haves, and came up with features that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. For example, they added a closet as part of our master bath remodel since we talked about needing more storage space. They knew that the laundry room was important to us, and factored that into the design. As a bonus, the washer and dryer were the first appliances to become fully functional after demo!Mike, who was the lead carpenter for our job, is an artist. He created beautiful built-ins and custom window seats for our bonus room, and was always listening and adapting to our needs as he worked. He made great suggestions as we finalized decisions during the project.Dane, our project manager, was attentive and accommodating. He visited the site often, and he was very good about keeping us up to date about progress. He worked actively on the "piece de resistance" - our four season room! The four season room replaced an aging and decrepit deck, and it features large windows, sky lights, and an impressive ceiling fan. We spend a great deal of our time out there now, and it has become our party room - a great addition to the house.All in all, we had an excellent experience with the entire Core team. Wendy Steinhilber: We recently had an unfortunate water event in our home and contacted Core Remodeling to do the restoration work. The job involved removing the existing water damaged ceiling (4 layers of plaster, lathe and blueboard) strapping, boarding and plastering the ceiling. The guys were professional and timely, the job was completed on time and on budget. The strapping leveled the ceiling beautifully and the plaster was done perfectly and it was so clean when they were done that you would never had known we'd undergone a pretty extensive renovation. Kate Brandt: We were extremely pleased with our experience with CORE Remodeling. In our kitchen, they installed new upper cabinets, painted the lowers and the walls, installed new countertop and tile backsplash, and removed a peninsula we no longer wanted. In the basement, they converted a half bath to a full bath, put in new flooring, ceiling, and painted the walls. The work met and exceeded our expectations and they were excellent communicators. Whenever something didn't go as planned initially (as is expected with a project of this size), they assured us that everything would be completed as it was intended and they kept that promise. There were some bumps along the way with sub-contractors, but they have already taken steps to address those issues for future projects and kept us in the loop throughout. We never had any doubt that they were doing everything they could on our behalf. tony santamaria: Core was an absolute pleasure to work with. I decided to remodel my kitchen, half-bath, dining room and front hall (new floors, cabinets, laundry area, lighting, removed a load-bearing wall, and more) and chose Core to help me with it. They listened to my asks and needs, provided feedback and suggestions as we fine-tuned the design, and then made my vision become reality. They were able to deliver a functional kitchen prior to Thanksgiving, as requested, even with the supply chain issues that delayed availability of some items. The whole Core team, and their subs, were extremely professional and clean, and were incredibly responsive to changes or adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances or because I changed my mind about something. David Trahan: Core Remodeling Services did a major bath renovation for us about two years ago. I intended to write a review of their work at the time but never got around to it. Recently, we ran into an issue that they were kind enough to address even though our warranty period had long since ended. So here’s my review of their original work plus the story that motivated me to write this.Our master bath remodel was a major project. In addition to a complete teardown and rebuild of the room, we wanted to expand the space into an adjacent walk-in closet and move the closet elsewhere. Core worked with us to come up with a good plan, using 3d drawings to help visualize the space. Once the work started, it proceeded pretty much on schedule and on budget. Throughout the process, communication with the project manager and work crew was superb. All the Core staff were kind, patient, friendly, and always made our satisfaction their top priority. The quality of the work was exceptional and we are extremely happy with the outcome. We have absolutely no reservations recommending Core and would gladly use them again in the future.In February 2021, we had several days with temperatures in the single digits. One morning, we woke to find our shower was not getting water and surmised that the pipe had frozen. Fortunately it didn’t burst. and when the temperature rose, the blockage cleared. When we first planned the remodel, we expressed concerns that the “wet wall” - the wall containing the shower pipes and valve - would be moving from an interior wall to an exterior wall. Core’s staff enhanced the design to extend the wall and added extra insulation to protect the plumbing from the cold. Needless to say, when the pipe froze I was afraid I would have to pay to get it fixed.I reached out to Corey, the president of Core Remodeling Services. He responded promptly and assured me they would investigate and do the right thing. They sent a carpenter out to investigate and he found a few places where additional insulation could be added. After looking at his work, I’m confident that it will address the problem.Core could have easily argued that this work was done out of warranty and I would therefore be responsible for the cost. The fact that they never suggested such a thing is consistent with the professionalism and integrity we encountered in all interactions with Core staff.Service:Remodeling

Susan Claussen: We recently completed a complex project with Core Remodeling Services involving finishing a large basement, adding a custom bathroom and detailed integration with an AV system company. The entire project team was great to work with, very responsive and highly organized. We really liked the project management app and 3D design software they used.Before bringing in the Core team my husband and I struggled with making decisions around the final design. However once we brought in Corey’s team, they helped with determining the design elements and provided great guidance & suggestions that made the decision process much easier. Donald Boettger: CORE did a great job with my bathroom remodeling project. The biggest complication was the fact that my home has only one bathroom. Yet they managed to do a complete rebuild -- right down to bare studs -- while keeping the most critical function available each day.Considering the extent of the work, it went remarkably quickly. It was only about three weeks from the start of demo to completion. In fact, it took longer to make my design choices and get the materials and fixtures on hand than it took to do the actual work.The cost was considerably less than the figure I'd had in mind going in, even though I exceeded my budget on a few items. There were two very minor problems that came to light after completion, but CORE was responsive and took care of them promptly.All in all I couldn't be happier with the result. Sarah Meyer: The work done by Core Remodeling was exceptional!When we purchased the house the kitchen was oddly shaped, dark, and outdated. The guest bathroom had pink and blue tile and our master bedroom was covered in wallpaper and dirty pink carpets. Truly a dream for a first time home buyer.Working with the whole Core team was a breeze, even when we felt like the quirks of our new home could sabotage the project. Having a slanted ceiling in our kitchen at one end meant our cabinets had to be custom cut to fit the space. I was so nervous that a bad cut would mean we'd need to buy new cabinets but the finished product was beyond my expectations. Our master bathroom didn't exist before and with the help of Core Remodeling they were able to take our oversized master bedroom and add an ensuite - the best decision we've ever made!They also brought in someone to paint the blue and pink tiles in our guest bathroom white which completely transformed the space.The whole house is now bright, modern, and feels like a real home.The cost of everything, in the beginning, seems intimidating and so does the timeline but when it's all done you realize the value of updating your home, especially during covid times, is priceless not to mention the value of our home greatly increased.Would hire them again in a heartbeat.Services:Drywall installation,Drywall repair,Tile work installation,Remodeling

We had a great experience from the initial quoting and design work with Corey, the owner, to the day-to-day trade work with the carpenters and project manager. The entire process was smooth, on budget, and on-time. It was even an expedited time frame from what was initially estimated which I can't thank them enough for as we were expecting a second child. This company is extremely easy to work with and communicative, which I can't say is the norm int he industry. The work was done at a very high quality and they even put in some custom asks such as venting for an existing dehumidifier that I had purchased. I would recommend CORE and their team to anyone and everyone!

Corey listened carefully to our needs and delivered a finished basement which met our needs perfectly and stayed within our desired budget. Throughout the project, communication was clear and easy. Their website had a calendar which had the project timeline spelled out which was helpful to follow along and know what to expect. All of the workers were timely, diligent, respectful, and skilled. The project manager was easy to reach, communicated clearly, and overall great to work with. We went into this project knowing that it could be painful as we anticipated having a crew of folks in the basement while working from our home offices upstairs, and owning two big "not-so-great-with-strangers" dogs, but the Core team exceeded our expectations in every way.The team was friendly, respectful, hard working, skilled, and just nice human beings who are pleasant to be around. They engaged with us at every decision point, worked to sovle any minor unexpected twists that arose, and the final product came out beautiful.We are high-touch people who like to be informed and the Core team's use of a communication/workflow app was perfect, allowing us to remain in constant, real-time contact and engage with the team on progress, questions, status, timing, etc.The team finished the product on-time, within budget that was quoted, and again, it came out so beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice. We have done a fair bit of building - ranging from full houses to reno's - and it is easy to say that we are thrilled to have met and hired Corey, and the team is unequivocally THE BEST contracting/building/tradesman crew that we have EVER worked with. Will hire them again in the future, without question!

From the moment we contacted their office everything went as planned. Corey was always prompt in responding, explaining and making sure all of our questions were answered. The computer program they have set up is amazing. Everyone responds on the same screen so everyone involved can see what is planned. No waiting for phone calls EVER ! Our project manager Mike was fantastic to work with. I can honestly say every person we came into contact with in this company and its contractors was a pleasure to work with. Corinne Martin: First of all, a huge thank you to the team at Spotlight Kitchen design center, as they made this huge journey a walk in the park. They kept engaged from A to Z from the beginning to the end.During a first meeting discussions were initiated by Ilmi our designer, ideas and wish list were thrown in the air. A few days later the first design proposal was presented during a super face to face work session.Incredible patience from the entire team as it was really an exchange process during which modifications were done back and forth , like changing the hood and cooktop positioning to one side of the kitchen to the other and then a few days later back to the original position as we progressed. All that, with one desire from the designer team, to give us the best possible experience and a gorgeous kitchen to enjoy always with a smile.This being our first European style kitchen, they gave us a list of amazing professionals they got used to working over the years who share to the same aspiration for excellence as their own. From the Appliance at Percys, the countertops at Discover, stellar teams.During the constructions, we ran into doubts and had so many questions but not counting how many times we called or texted Ilmi, who showed up every time with a solution, re-assuring us.Throughout the journey, everything single one of our professionals praised the quality of the cabinets. Laura Foley: Leanne is the most patient and accommodating person I've ever had the pleasure of working with! My husband and I had some mild differences of opinion on how our new kitchen should look, so Leanne tactfully mediated and always found a middle ground we both agreed to! I am continually stunned at how wonderful our new kitchen looks and how easy it is to work in. The center island is our main workspace, and there's plenty of room for all four family members to prep and cook at the same time. And it's a much better space for entertaining. Alex Ginzburg: We've recently finished a complete kitchen remodel project (single family house in Westborough) and I am writing this review to thank Alban Gega (owner) for his design creativity, professionalism, patience with us and perseverance. Alban helped us into the 21st century with a modern kitchen in a very small and tight space. I highly recommend him as a designer to anyone remodeling kitchen or bathroom.We've purchased Shiloh cabinets, manufactured by W.W. Wood (NC). We did have a few issues, but all is well now. My recommendation for anyone who is considering this line is to find a competent installer, who has experience installing Shiloh. Should you decide to retain someone who had never installed Shiloh, at least have them come to the showroom and ask Alban to explain the installation specifics - this will definitely save you a few headaches down the road.

From the cabinet choices, appliance suggestions to the tiniest detail in the grout, ALL ALBAN. I do want to give a shout out to Keith who installed the cabinets. My husband who is able to do everything, including the reno of our kitchen in our previous house, was so impressed with Keith's workmanship! David Butler: We hired LT Construction to build our new deck and could not possibly be happier with our choice. We have used other contractors in past and the experiences have not been very positive. From the very start Lac returned our calls and was very prompt in coming to give us an estimate. He gave us a very detailed estimate, explained everything and answered all our questions and even had some good suggestions we hadn't thought of. The project was done in a very professional manner, our yard was alwaysclean and neat, and despite all the issues with sourcing materials due to COVID, the project was done in a very timely manner. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail was fantastic. This is a really great company with an even nicer crew, and we will be using them again for our next project.Dave & Jean Butler
Steve Fiedler: Lac was great to work with for our bath/shower renovation. When I had questions, he got back to me in a timely manner. He was especially patient with me during the planning phases of my project. He listened to my needs & wants, and offered some suggestions of his own. When it was time for the work to be done, he and his helper were on time. They cleaned up the work thoroughly every day and kept a neat job site. His price was very competitive and the work was top notch! I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.
Jorge Alegre: We were looking for a contractor to help design and build out a finished basement, and came upon LT Construction. Lac met with my wife and I and we were immediately onboard with his ideas and even more confident learning of his professional background and experience in the industry. Though our primary goal was for a finished basement, we had been wanting to build in a half wall to separate our living room from our kitchen, and asked if Lac could do that as well. He actually took on that project first, and did it very quickly. We were amazed at he and his team's skillsets, further validated that we had found the right person, and became even more excited to see how he'd take on the basement buildout. His quality of work was stupendous. He executed the perfect design, used quality materials, and placed attention to every detail. He was always punctual, and met the timeline he anticipated to complete the project. We cannot speak strongly enough about how much praise we have for Lac and his team. They are very professional, extremely talented, and will help you realize your project to completion. We highly recommend them without question, and are so glad we found them!!
James Finchum: I would definitely recommend LT Construction. We had our basement finished and they did a great job. Lac was friendly and knowledgeable during the entire process and always professional, specifically with showing up on time. All of our questions were answered in a timely manner. The work area was always kept clean at the end of the day. Lac took care of all permits and inspectors and all we had to do was let him know about paint and flooring. It was a pleasure working with Lac during the entire process and I would certainly hire LT Construction again for any future jobs at our home.
Jeremy Warren: LT Construction removed an existing shower stall in a small bath area and installed a new, "senior friendly" custom designed shower system for us.The workmanship is excellent, Lac was on time every day and he cleaned up the work area every night before leaving. He was extremely professional, communicated well through email and text, and cleaned up after himself everyday! He also gave us a reasonable timeline (4-5 days) which he was able to complete in 4 days. When we needed extra materials he offered to buy it himself so we wouldn't have to take time out of our busy schedule to buy extra items. We recommend Lac to anyone doing construction to their homes!

Hoi Chung: I hired LT Construction for 5 projects: porch replacement, window replacement, kitchen remodeling, interior painting and bath room remodeling. Lac provided me with estimates for the work in a timely manner. All the quotes were competitive with other contractors. Prior to and during the work, Lac had made suggestions in making the projects better and more economical. Lac handled all the required permit applications and inspections with the town. The whole process was hassle free. Lac performed tasks beyond what the contracts had specified. He took time out of his weekend to help me pick up a heavy vanity from the store and transport it to the house. How many contractors would do that? His focus on quality is unique and unparalleled. All the projects were completed in a timely manner. At the completion of the kitchen and bath remodeling, Lac cleaned all the affected rooms, leaving it spotless. Without hesitation, I would hire LT Construction for any future projects.
Radu Tenenbaum: I had a great experience with LT Construction. Lac and his crew rebuilt my old PT deck with composite. His quote was competitive, he explained everything that needed doing and was open to my specific requirements and modifications to the original proposal. The work was done on a timely basis. The quality of the materials and the labor were excellent. Two specific things stand out. After the construction started, Lac determined that some of the support structure did not need to be replaced and, without my request, reduced the cost accordingly. The second is minor in the total scheme of things, but it is a reflection of the kind of work he does: every day they swept and cleaned up. Per my experience with contractors on previous projects, this was unexpected, but welcome. All in all, Lac will be my go-to guy for any future projects. Highly recommended!

Gwen Beems Coleman: I live in Paxton in central Mass and have been contemplating getting my 2 upstairs bathrooms remodeled for several years. In 2021, I had 2 different contractors come to my house to give an estimate, and neither one of them ever got back to me. A friend in Weymouth started a bathroom remodeling project with a contractor in March 2022, and 6 months later, it was still unfinished; the contractor had removed a window that he couldn't find a replacement for; he had neglected to put a bench in the shower; he started a pocket door that he couldn't make work; and he installed a radiator right in front of the toilet. Then he disappeared, never to be heard from again. So she was stuck sitting on a toilet sideways with no door on the bathroom and a boarded-up window for months on end. Needless to say, I was worried about finding someone I could trust. I went on Angie's List and was given 3 choices for my area: one was a big firm out of NYC, who quoted me an outrageous price based on pictures I sent them of my bathroom. Another was a local big company who, three months later, still won't stop calling my phone from random numbers, trying to sell me even though I told them I already picked a contractor. So annoying! The third was GTA Remodeling. George called me within minutes of my visit to Angie's List, even though it was late on a Friday night. We set an appointment for him to come look at my bathrooms the following week. George gave me a reasonable estimate for my projects. From that point forward, George showed up on time for every appointment we set, picking out tile, etc., and so did all of the other people he worked with, including the plumber, the electrician, and the cabinet design person. I wanted two bathtubs removed and replaced with walk-in showers with aging-in-place features, and George was very creative and flexible in achieving what I wanted. He was professional in all of his communications, keeping me informed of when items woud be delivered to my house, if there would be delays, when the electrician and plumber would arrive, etc. Everytime I called or texted him with questions, he responded very quickly to every question I had. George and Joe showed up on time every single day and worked hard until the projects were finished. The pandemic and its aftermath have made it so difficult to find workers in any field who display a traditional work ethic and take pride in their craft, but George and everyone who was associated with him did exactly that. A famous person once said, "90% of success in life is just showing up." If this is the true secret to success, George is going to be wildly successful, because George shows up every time! The finished bathrooms are absolutely beautiful. I will not hesitate to hire GTA Remodeling for future projects around my house, and I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a company to trust with their home improvement projects.

On top of that, the communication of timelines and updates was superb. We were never left wondering as to what the next steps of the project were. Patricia Lynch: This past summer we contacted Pat Sarkisian regarding our deck. He said they could definitely do it and we were on the schedule for November. Then near the end of September he called to say they had ability to do the work right then. The materials were delivered and the demo began the next day. It was only about a week and our deck was all redone and beautiful! The craftsman that did the work were top notch and there was never a problem with cleanup or anything. We have had our home and garage sided and replaced doors previously with Sarkisian Builders and we can't find anything to complain about. When there is a question or if an issue arises they are very responsive, thoughtful and professional. We would use them again for sure!

The project started on time and came in on budget. We even got credits where we had been under our allocations! Greg Sarkisian was at the work site daily during the project to monitor progress and to keep us updated with any concerns and next steps. The communication was great! The various tradesmen that were working on the project were friendly, efficient and on time. We were very pleased with the final results and the quality of the work performed. Tim Slevin: Sarkisian Builders recently did a remodeling job on my home. I do not have enough good things to say about how the project went. The builders on site could not have been more professional. They were at my house on time every day and worked extremely hard for the entire project, which was completed on time. They happily answered my questions and took the time to walk me through the work they had done at different points in the project. I will be doing additional work to my home in the coming years and the only call I will be making will be to Sarkisian Builders.

Svetlana Magidov: The store has business hours posted 9 to 5 every day except maybe Sunday, I am not sure. More than once I came to the store and it was always closed. I knocked, and no one was there. I called the number that was on the front door, and no one answered. I left a message and someone called back (there was a missed call), but hey didn't even let me a message. Today I went back and they had a notice on the door that they were going to be back by noon and it was already 1 pm. If they only see people by appointment only, they should post it on their window. I will be looking for a new business to order everything.

Kelly F: Josh came out to give us an estimate on our basement renovation. We had initially sent him a video of the area to give him an idea of what to expect. He and his associate came to our house to view the project in person. They arrived on time and brought cookies!! They were very professional and took time in the basement and looked at everything. They then came upstairs and told us that the project was actually much bigger than he originally thought. There would need to be significant extra work done to bring the whole basement into code compliance. He explained everything to us very clearly and said that he could still do the job but wanted to be honest with us about the cost almost doubling.Josh told us we could simply tell him it was too much money and he would head out we would not be charged for anything. Unfortunately that was what we had to do, but we were so appreciative of his professionalism and integrity by being honest with us and not trying to lock us into a contract that would spiral out of control with costs.I would absolutely recommend Josh and RenoVista again and hope to be able to use him on other projects in the future.Service:Remodeling

We had a 12'x12' deck that was wearing out. Ben replaced that deck with a 20'x25' deck of which 12'x12' was a 3-season porch/Florida room. Everyone did a great job from creating the foundation, building the 3-season porch and the Timberline/Azek deck.But, it wasn't just building and cleaning up every day. It was craftsmanship from the start with the recommended architect at J.R. Associates to the extra touches from the almost seamless connections of the railings to the angled posts to the trim of the steps. In the winter, we just sat out on the porch looking out at the lawn.
