TTF: Needing an appointment and not letting you browse is ridiculous and pretentious. We are renovating our home and wanted to get ideas for kitchen, bathroom and ceiling fixtures. We ended up at Spotlight on Shrewsbury St in Worcester and the experience was night and day. We were actually welcomed in the store, not turned away and made to feel like a fool for wanting to look. We placed an order at Spotlight totaling nearly $7,000 for lighting. When I told my contractor the story he said "Yeah, never go to Showcase". Lesson learned. I should add that we bought some of the fixtures we are replacing from Showcase's old location. Back then they let you browse. So Showcase, how many customers do you think you lose by turning them away?

I felt really bad seeing that I have bought stuff there a couple of years ago. I will not go back there and I will go the store that someone else recommended on here. I think they said Spotlight kitchen.

The woman working there actually did not allow us to put one foot inside the showroom. Told us we do not allow people to come in and look. Their store was only for people who needed consultations on picking out lighting. Well that's what we were there for but she was rude so we left and went a few miles up the road to Spotlight Kitchen and Design Center. They graciously took us through their showroom and we consulted with a lovely young lady named Morgan who was so knowledgeable and helpful. Lighting Showcase missed out on a good sale from us. We will be spending good money at Spotlight instead.

Michelle: Went to take a look and there was a sign saying appointment only. My husband went inside to make an appointment and was told we had to pay $100 just to look around. Pretty sure there are plenty of other places we can spend our money. In fact, the woman at Spotlight just down on Shrewsbury St. was super happy to let us look around, very friendly, and very helpful.

However they did the research for us and provided the information we needed to order the bulbs. The owners went out of their way to provide excellent customer service.

It took me 6 months and calling the manufacturer directly to get them to call the store! Then, they didn't even honor the exchange on a defective product, they upcharged me. Seriously, there are lots of places to buy nice fans and lights.. take your business elsewhere. THIS IS TRULY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!!

James Bostock: Worst electricians ever. Little knowledge and all they wanted to do is take advantage of a senior. Wanted $850 to install a ceiling fan. Would never call them again.

Adrian Mejia: Did a decent job fixing what I called them to fix. Following that I asked for an estimate on how much it would cost to rewire the house to get rid of knob and tube. They pressured me into agreeing to do it through them and insisted I give them a check for half of the cost (a sizable amount) right there and then. I was hesitant, so they told me I could give them the deposit check but they wouldn't cash it in for a couple of days, in case I wanted to call them and back out. This seemed reasonable to me, though in retrospect i really shouldn't have gone along with it.I decided it wasn't the right time to do it almost as soon as they left. I called them later that day to tell them to destroy the check, but the secretary informed me they had already cashed it, contrary to what they had told me they would do. They told me they would send me a check back for the same amount. The check came back promptly, but it bounced when I tried to cash it. I called them about this and told me they must have made a mistake and would send me a check back. A month passes by. I call them. They tell me they sent the check this week, it should arrive in a few days. Another month passes by. I contact them again. They ask me if they can send me the payment back in two pieces, half this month and half next month, as treasurer's checks to ensure they don't bounce. You've guessed it, another month passes by and again, nothing. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. They will con you and lie to you. They've been telling me since November they'd get me my money back, and it is now March.

Chris Anzivino: We called Doug after our first electrician couldn't figure out why our oven, TV and a few other outlets weren't working. Doug and Sam showed up in about 2 hours, did some solid process of elimination, determined the problem was in our attic, and came back first thing in the morning to quickly finish the job (way too hot in the attic to do it the same day). They were professional and highly competent, Doug even vacuumed himself off so he wouldn't track insulation through our whole house. Can't recommend them enough!
