Kevin Feen: I brought a chain saw in for repair when it was ready was in hospital. Been trying every month for almost a year and he never returned my messages. Had to finally call from wife’s phone and he answers saying it’s a 14$ a week storage. $800 for a saw that cost $200. Don’t ever do business with them again. Too bad I have a lot of equipment.

Darren Marshall: I’m not believing the bad reviews. I had a great experience here. It’s run by a family, and they’re super nice and efficient. They do warranty claims so I assume the bad reviews have an issue with getting their warranties rejected (by Ryobi for instance) or delayed and are blaming it on this small business. That’s not their fault. They went above and beyond in my case and were very pleasant, answering all my questions.

I don't know how he claims he has 30 years of experience, maybe fixing bicycles, because gardening tools he knows absolutely nothing.

TR: If you go to this shop be forewarned this will be your worst nightmare. I took my Honda Generator which looked like new to this shop for an oil leak and had varying electrical output, I give B&R $50 for an initial evaluation. No phone calls of the evaluation. I went to the shop and the generator was in the same place I had left it. IF YOU REQUIRE ANYTHING TO BE COMPLETED IN A TIMELY FASHION THIS IS NOT THE SHOP FOR YOU. Did I mention the owner Mr. Beck is rude and not at all responsive to your requests but payment is requested in advance - MY MISTAKE! We agreed on a price of $180 plus the $50 B&R had already received. After two months I have a generator that is all apart and worthless. B&R claim to fame is taking things apart and making items a throw away instead of a working generator. There are other lawnmower shops B&R Lawnmower Shop is not the one to choose.

EXCALIBUR 24 Booth: Horrible experience here. I would never recommend this rip off place. I went to get carburetor services and I helped him buy checking spark and compression. He didn't like my aftermarket pull cord and wanted to replace with a new factory unit. I told him that I didn't have a problem with it and It's easy to start with 1 pull. He talked me into a new one anyway. I asked when it going to be ready and he said Saturday at the latest. He thought that it was Wednesday and it was Tuesday so he had an extra day. Went to Pickup and he only changed the part that worked and wasn't what I brought it in for, had not even started to work on the carburetor yet. I asked him for the old part that I can use on another mower I have and he says that he threw it out and it was gone. As I was leaving he dug up a red part and said he found it. This was not my part as mine was black. So he lies and cheats customers, another customer told me that he doesn't trust him either because he's been cheated as well. Not Recommended ever.

Eli Z4Me: Terrible. Tried over charging me. I do repairs on all my own small engines and I know how to do it because I’m a mechanic. It doesn’t cost 235$ for a 5$ spark plug. An 8-11$ carburetor. An “oil change” wich mind you I just did. Glow coils (whatever those are a tecumpseh ohh50 has no such thing) and a new govorner wich I removed myself knowing that all it does is limit rpms. Didn’t run prior to removal. Runs now with only a new carburetor I bought from amazon for 11$

R Anani: Run don't walk away from this shop.I thought the owners were a nice couple when I talked to them over the phone and I decided to ignore the Yelp reviews and give them my business. What a mistake !!!I left a non starting generator with the owner to inspect and provide an estimate. He took it apart and gave estimate that seemed a little high on my voicemail. I went to discuss this with him and get a breakdown of the estimate figures. He immediately turned into a very irrationally angry person and threatened to sue me if I didn't pay him for his work. (which hadn't been done yet).To make a long story short. I was in a time crunch to get the generator back, his wife intervened and I agreed to have him complete the work.I ended up payed almost 400% over the original estimate and took back a working generator.Later when I had time to inspect the work I discovered very shoddy work where he cut and twisted wires together internally to make connections. I had to take his work apart to crimp on the appropriate connectors to make better, safer connections.If you want to get ripped off and get shoddy work then this is the place for you. I will find a more reputable place to go to next time.
CRL REALITY: Avoid going to this business. I brought my Genrac, Generator for a Warranty Repair.The owner tried to charge me $375.00 to fix my generator which was under factory warranty. STAY AWAY SCAM SCAM!!!My generator was under warranty and he tried to rip me off!!!!

Three weeks later, after not hearing from them, I called and was told I already picked it up. I went in to sort it out and was told the same thing. Well having been out of town that was pretty hard to do. So where's my machine i asked? You already picked it up. Well, since you have security cameras why don't you just look up the day I supposedly picked it up. No response. So they finally, after I basically got really pissed gave me a junky used one. Nice. So go here and trade in your good weed wacker for a junky one. Never going back

David Gouin: Called Steve about snowblower. One side of blades doesn't spin. He told me it was probably the shear pin that was snapped (as they are designed to do if something gets caught in blades). I checked and that was exactly what it was ! I replaced the broken one snd it works perfectly. He could have easliily charged to come get machine and repar if he wanted to, i wouldn't have known the difference. In my experience he is honest and i would definately go to him if i did need repair work !!
JEREMY BLEECHER: After running my snowblower into my front steps it would no longer move. I was convinced the clutch had gone and would be facing a $200 repair bill. Steve picked up the snowblower and retuned it several days later with a $77 bill including pick up and delivery, parts and labor. I had broken two springs when I hit the steps. Steve replaced them and lubricated unit as well. I am a completely satisfied customer. Steve is one of Northborough's hidden assets and I would recommend him for any small engine repair.

Jessica Ferrara: This place is amazing!! First of all, they always answer their phone even when they are super busy. Their customer service level is second to none! They offer pick up and delivery, which is super convenient considering we don't have a truck or trailer to transport our beast of a snowblower. They picked up our snowblower for yearly maintenance and to fix a backfiring issue, and the technician immediately noticed a mouse nest on it...they get it in the shop and those pests did some considerable damage, they basically had to replace everything on the snowblower! When we got it back it was beautiful and clean, it looked brand new! Their billing statement is outlined nicely, very professional, and they included a great color photo of the nest inside! We did have one issue which my husband called about and they assured him it was safe to use and he would be back after the big storm we had to take a look at it...once in the shop again, the owner himself worked on it and noticed something that was missed, and did the work free of charge and got our snowblower right back to us. WOW!! You would be hard pressed to find a company with this level of honesty and customer service; they are truly top notch!

Connie Sisemore: I was referred to trailers n more by the manufacturer of my trimmer. I called in advance to make sure that I had all the of paperwork I needed and what the procedure was. When I entered the front office, there was a woman at a desk who looked at me and said nothing. When I greeted her with a hello, she said, what do you need. I explained that I had spoken with her the day before and why I was there. She proceeded to escort me out of the office to place my trimmer outside. She acted as if it were my fault that I walked the trimmer inside but when I called to ask about the procedure, she did not tell me to leave it outside She then asked me a series of questions about the gasoline and told me all of that was in my manual. She was very dismissive, rude, and treated me as if I were a child. She gave me incorrect information. When I got home and read my manual once again, it did not say anything she said it did. She pointed her finger in my face, she yelled at me and left me leaving with my trimmer and no help at all. She told me the bottom line was that they would not get paid. If that is the case, I do not know why the manufacture ask me to use them as a repair option. I am very curious as to why she is allowed to run a public business.
Lynn Harris: Called Trailers and More about lawn mower maintenance. Hadn’t used them before and my prior service department said it would be at least 4 weeks before they could get to my mower. Trailers and More came the following day to pick up and had mower returned about 2 weeks later. Although their pick up cost was higher, their maintenance was significantly less. Ran the mower today and it sounds and runs nice. Appreciated the call from them discussing what they found and made some recommendations about future service. Will definitely work with them again.

nebulonV: These guys saved my life. As down to earth and personable as you could expect from a shop like this. After I SLAMMED my poor Craftsman mower into an unseen large rock in the soil, it just did not run right afterwards. Turns out I broke a flywheel key and destroyed my blade. These guys replaced and installed everything for me PRONTO, even though I didn't need it pronto. And by the by, the price was RIGHT. Trust in these guys, they know what they're doing and won't rape you in the process.

Even though I might see them just once a year, they always recognize me by my first name. They're readily available to answer questions and offer advice when asked. This is the place to go in Southern Worcester County to purchase new equipment, or to have your winter & summer toys ready to work for you.
