Fernando Villanueva Jr: I've owned a security box at Postal Plus 1 for a year now. It saddens me that I am moving away but I enjoyed the camaraderie I have with the owner Patrick. He is very welcoming and never seems to be in a bad mood. I always enjoy the conversations I have with Patrick whenever I go in to get my packages. He keeps his packages safe, organized, and protected. The service is top tier and he offers a lot of the normal mail services that Fedex/USPS/ UPS/etc offer but at a more competitive price. He also has a printer in case you need to print some documents or letters. So take advantage of his services and prices. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone.

I was blown away at how the staff hustled and the amount of customers they took care of in the short amount of time I was there. Well-oiled, pleasant, efficient staff. Highly recommend.

Suzanne: There is a very boxy parking area on a very busy main street but the shop is quick to get uou in and out. Prices to use the computer and pri n t labels are very expensive , like 3 $ per page or for use of computer so if you can pre print whatever you cab and or lookup what you need to. Other than that the UPS store does sell merchandise such as sharpies, tape ,envelopes, bubble wrap but obviously at a mark up. BYO supplies. .I invested in a printer and am much happier. But there are some items that must be returned via UPS. All I n All the customer service there is good . 👍

google user: I went to mail a return item (from an online store). I was told I had to either pay the guy 2 dollars for using the store’s tape or drive somewhere to buy a tape. I have been waiting in the line for quite a while and therefore had to give the guy 2 dollars. Never encountered this in any store. People beware of the sneaky store. The owner of this store has gone above and beyond to help me with my claim that I struggled with. I am getting a refund for my lost gift, which isn't the same as having it, but now I'll be able to replace it. I'm so grateful for everything he did, would definitely recommend this store!

You first told me 90$+ for shipping and when I told you online was cheaper you said 52$ so also you gave me misguiding information in the beginning in attempt to take more from me by not telling me all my options. K Phu: It shouldn’t take 30 minutes to just drop off and scan a package with a prepaid label, but the staff here are belligerent when asked even the simplest of questions (causing customers to become confused and frustrated) and often have multiple clerks standing around instead of helping at the empty cash registers even when there’s a line of 10+ customers going out the door, so unfortunately it does take that amount of time. There have been multiple days that this has been the case, even during supposedly slow hours (11am or 2:30pm on weekdays).

It was sent to North Carolina. Now, the couple will not receive my gift in time, my beautiful packaging and card have been ripped open and ruined, and I am extremely angry and upset at this ridiculous incompetence. They had ONE JOB and didn't do it properly. Many people have been hurt and I will never use this store again.

Mark Barbernitz: inexperienced notary! Recently moved from Pennsylvania and needed vehicle title notarized that I am selling. Notary at the UPS store refused to do so because "there is not a space for my other stamp that is not touching anything else". Mind you, there is a space for a notary stamp and signature etc. When I asked if that meant no notary in the state of Massachusetts could notarize a PA title was told, "maybe one with more authority". What? A notary is a notary. I wasted an hour of my day to get to the UPS store and was refused on a very simple and common form. Way more than frustrated with this store.

I told them that I thought that this wasn't fair. I have spent an exorbitant amount of money in this store over the years. The manger was arrogant. He was rude. He also threatened me. When I told him that I would be leaving a yelp review. He then told me to leave the store and he would not do business with me. He then threatened me again. I kept my composure and left the store. After the threat he then told me he would be responding to my yelp review. I will also be dedicating an episode of my popular podcast to the arrogance this so called manager just displayed to me. Customers made comments to me on the way out about what a rude person this guy is. If you live in the Holden area. AVOID this store like the plaque. The workers are entitled little twits who treat you like you are beneath them! This place also is VERY expensive. You can do much better price wise in most any other location in town. Joe: Stay away if you're looking for good customer service from people who are actually interested in helping. I just spent $82 to ship 2 packages both less than 8 lbs. I inquired about a pack and ship and was quoted a similar amount, so I stupidly thought (and wasn't corrected) that purchasing 2 (2!) boxes, packing tape and bubble wrap to pack myself would be cheaper. Nope. In fact after I finished packing my own boxes the price went up! $82 for 2 boxes to be ground shipped. I was not offered flat rate shipping which I now, after researching, realize is a thing. I was specifically told by the polite but unhelpful pink haired girl behind the counter that ground would be my cheapest option. I will NEVER, NEVER choose UPS over usps or FedEx, again. It's of course my own fault, but not being a UPS expert, aside from the over $20 for the shipping supplies, I assumed this was normal.

Just because you didn't get everything 100% your way doesn't make this place a 1 star store. I've been going here long enough that they have proven themselves to be at least an average shipping center if not above average.I am writing this review because I see these emoting type reviews that people post sometimes. They give 1 star and say, "I'd give negative stars if I could." All over a slight inconvenience. It's obviously the social media minded types that recognize the 5 star rating system as more of a swipe right to like and swipe left if you don't like, type of system. However, in the real world, one's entire business doesn't get red listed because of an employee's or owner's inadvertent inconvenience to a customer.I love it how people give 1 star reviews for the entire establishment all because of a notarization denial and the stores decision to close down a half hour early (or 5 minutes early as one reviewer showed up at 6:25 and the store closes at 6:30).That's why I give rational reviews to businesses. A one star review of this establishment is irrational and it was probably given out of frustration and wanting to somehow get your voice heard. It takes a lot of willpower to grant just rulings and not allow the punishment power to go wild. That is what the 1 star reviewers have done here. They've had a singular bad experience at an overall good store and really over exercised their rating system liberties by giving their big bad 1 star rating.I just wanted to give my perspective of the store. They seem to be as helpful as possible with all of their customers from what I see. My shipments have never been messed up. They are fast at the checkout register. Definitely not a 1 star establishment.

I was turned away and instructed to go to my bank for a notarization because it was considered the "Holiday Season"; despite me being the only customer in the store, it being after Christmas, and a notary takes all of 30 seconds. This was the epitome of unprofessionalism and poor customer service. I went to FedEx and they happily notarized my documents.
Stacey Dolan: I called before going because I had already gone yesterday and they were closed due the the snow. So today I called at 5:55 pm to see if they were open. The employee told me over the phone that they were closing in a couple minutes. So I asked if they were open until 6:30 pm because that’s what the hours posted online are. She said they are open until 6:30 but they close the register at 6 so she couldn’t do any transactions after 6. I don’t understand what the point of being open until 6:30 is if they can’t do any transactions after 6, but I decided to go to drop off my prepaid packages at least to get those shipped today, as this was day 2 of me trying to get them shipped. I get there at 6:25 (admittedly only 5 minutes before they close) and she’s locking the doors. I asked if I could just drop off my packages and she let me in. I only needed the stick-on label sleeves for my 2 packages or just a little tape. I was returning amazon prime packages and amazon instructs you now to let UPS package them up for you. She said she would do it for me, stating, “we do all the hard work for you,” implying that what I’m asking requires some amount of hard work, which it certainly does not. I just needed her to hand me 2 label sleeves or a little tape. She then added that “not all UPS locations offer free taping services, but we do,” again, trying to make me feel guilty for not having tape or a label sleeve, or that she’s somehow going above and beyond by doing what amazon tells you UPS is supposed to do. The UPS I normally go to always provides these without me even asking. They’ve stopped me from taping labels on to hand me the sleeves instead saying “here, use these, they’re so much easier,”, so I didn’t think it was an unusual request. Anyway, I offered to tape the labels on myself or use the adhesive label sleeves because I didn’t want to leave the packages without the labels attached for fear that they’d get mixed up. She told me she didn’t have time to do it because she “really needed to lock the doors and leave because she had to drive home before the roads froze.” So she guilted me into leaving with my packages just laying on the counter with 2 loose labels next to them. If this UPS location wants to close early or close at 6, they should just change their hours instead of making customers feel like they’re inconveniencing the staff by using their services. masey: Had an easy experience at this store. Cracked some jokes with the staff and got my stuff sent out.
Brandon: Worst service here. All other reviews are correct. They are trying to charge you and make it such a hassle to use them as a return center. Shipped in box and returned in same shipped box. They are telling me they have to charge me for tape and boxes. Stay away from here.

N S: The worst customer service ever.We went for an Amazon return, first the person had a problem that the box in which we packed was third party (not the Amazon prime box) after which we went to nearby staples to get a new box he now wants us to buy tape because technically they cannot use more tape .!! I mean seriously!!When asked how would they know- the employee replied someone will always be video monitoring in the usage of tape and also added that he did get a warning on extra usage!!Seriously UPs ? Do you fire people on additional usage of Tape ??Worst customer service ever!!!!I wouldn’t have given hum any stars!! Add negatives all way long..
Jack Goutier: The guy that works mornings during the week is a nice guy, but he is never there. You should suggest changing the opening hours to 8am or later. No one should have to wait this long just to send a simple package.
Robert Boyda: The worst customer experience. This place has no concern about their customers at all. I called to this store asking about notary services. They told me yes and I told them I would be there in 10 minutes by 2:45. They confirmed that was acceptable. When I got there at 2:40 I was told the notaries on lunch he won’t be back for 20 minutes. Come back tomorrow. This is the worst customer experience.
Samantha Hidy: Incredibly rude. Refused to take a pre-packaged and prelabeled shipment. Stated there was no more space to accept packages and that I should return tomorrow as there was nothing they could do. Offered no help or solutions just said they could not take the package and I should try back another day. A complete wast of my time and I will never return to this location

Patrick Gilman: Really rude, and unhelpful. I had two Amazon returns that were still in the box that they were received in, and the guy behind the desk told me I had to purchase a new box instead for $10 dollars. He also said that because I had two returns it needed to be in two separate boxes. Simply ridiculous. So I left, and dropped my returns off at Kohl's instead. Kohl's accepted my returns in the same box at no charge with no hassle. It's safe to say I'll never be going back to this UPS.

Employee that took the package admitted he put the wrong label and still refused to help, both employees had a horrible teenager attitude regardless. What I didn’t understand was why? At such a quite hour at work they prefer to stay still and not to help look into something that is effortless to them!No Costumer service at all!

I'm a senior and struggle to carry th heavy box, but the fellow behind the counter didn't help and then he wouldn't take the return because the box wasn't closed. He had tape sitting on the counter, but wouldn't tape it for me. He told me I could buy the tape from him. Really?!!! Horrible customer sevice.

Just like the hot 'Tape' issue, the 'Drop off - No receipt' policy needs to be addressed.I asked for a receipt upon my drop off and was told "we don't issue receipts, a receipt will be emailed to you." Two days down the line, no email or status change on amazon.com. Called back to the store, and the guy was ranting at me basically refusing to logically answer any questions on why my return doesn't reflect anywhere in the system (both my email as he verbally promised and on amazon.com). He repeatedly told me to call Amazon directly...but how do I call Amazon directly when there is no receipt or acknowledgement that this store took my return?
